Hi Salient,
Love the theme ;however, I am having trouble setting up my woocommerce page. I want it to look like the salient demo http://themenectar.com/demo/salient/shop/page/2/; however, the page will only display in 2 columns rather than 4 columns. Here’s my website link http://americanfootcarenetwork.com/product-category/ebook/ Are there any places where there are setup instructions for the woocommerce store in salient. Also, when I include other woocommerce elements in other pages, the shopping thumbnails do not lay out in the columns I have specified and they seem to stick together. Example http://americanfootcarenetwork.com/home/ at the bottom of the page. Thanks in advance for the help.

Make sure you’re on the current version of Salient – 7.0.9 is the only version that works correctly with the current version of WooCommerce

Having slight issue with PayPal Express button showing twice on the cart fly-out view, i.e. clicking the cart icon to review what you have in your cart. Appears to be fine on the actual cart page, rendering just one button. Is there a way to fix this double button issue? It appears with most recent update to WooCommerce but they insist it is theme specific. You can see the issue on my test site at nlwtestsite1982.biz. Thanks!

The products of my shop have lost the name (under the product image, is not display the names), and only it looks the text “add to cart”.

Here I am again with a small issue (We are really putting your theme to the test hehe):
We are having issues with the responsiveness of your theme. One common element on our site is a combination of: 1col – icon (.svg) + 3 col – Text + 1col – icon (.svg) + 3 col – Text + 1col – icon (.svg) + 3 col – Text = 12 columns
This looks very nice on Desktop as you can see here (http://picavi.com/en/hardware/#details – right above the footer) and here (http://picavi.com/downloads/). However, when you start scaling it down – making sure mobile is set to display one icon + one text per column – it looks like shit pretty much all the way in between (mobile landscape view, tablet view, small sized screens) for some reason. On the download page we tried workarounds like putting only 1 icon + 1 text in a column for mobile etc. and hiding that on the big screen size. If you could please help us find a way (workaround is fine too) to make the hardware page (bottom) and the downloads look equally good among all sizes, you would help us out immensely!

The mobile menu style in Salient can be changed by turning the mobile sticky header option on/off in the Salient options panel > header navigation tab

Sorry, I’m not looking for it to slide out from the right. I’m looking for it to be full screen with down arrows. Just like the mobile menu for the creative modern style theme.
If you uncheck the box for mobile sticky it should use that style – if it’s still not for you please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so I can take a further look

That file is a file included in the raw version of Visual Composer and hasn’t been modified by Salient – it’s a well known false positive that wordfence picks up https://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=lib%2Fphp.default%2Fphp.default.min.js&from_buyers_and_authors_only=0 and is not malicious. Whoever told you that most likely doesn’t have a lot of technical know how. There seems to be a glitch (I think) when I set the background color in the boxed layout nothing changes, but if I turn off the Footer Reveal Effect it works then. Is there a way to have the Footer Reveal effect and the background color working together?

Where can I change the text of the “Return to Shop” button on the cart page and also the page to where it links too, so that it may be any page I want, not just the /shop page.
Example: instead of saying “Return to Shop” change to “Return to Auctions” and instead of returning to the /shop page, have it return to /auctions page or /home page. The woocommerce settings allow you to assign the base page, but I just want the button link to redirect.

Yes this is Slider Revolution, and no, Slider Revolution has nothing to do with the colored background, i checked and double-checked.

I’m slightly confused as to what you’re asking since I’m not seeing a rev slider on that page – just a nectar slider. Are you saying you want to remove the loading BG and have it be transparent until your image fades in?

That’s a rev slider in this page, not a nectar slider (i don’t use this). But nevermind i did it. #boxed could be background:transparent!important So I made it. Only thing more to do is to put a background color to each row.

Hi there. I just did a few updates (woocommerce, etc) and now my related Products are a bit “off.’ It used to say “You Might Also Like” instead of “Related Products” and it used to be 4 all in a row, not 2 stack on top of each other. Can you help me with this fix? Thank you so much.

We’re trying to recreate our products within woocommerce and we sorted everything by categories and their subcategories ie. mosaic—> glass, stone, metal, pebbles, etc.

I was able to turn on the woocommerce sidebar but it seems to be pulling blog categories and not product categories.
I then deleted all the blog categories and it’s only displaying Uncategorized.

1. You can select what widgets display in the woocommerce widget area in appearance > widgets
2. This isn’t related to Salient directly, however this could be done through translating the woocommerce .po file
