I noticed when i uploaded the demo content some of the slides do not work. Theya re listed but do not show up on the pages. For example the “main home page” slider does not show up but the “zoom page” sliders, slider works fine. Now when you go to the sliders settings they’re actually blank no images or anything. Some of the sliders are also “drafts” is this demo content suppose to be like this?
Also I uploaded the demo sliders for “slider revolution” but there are no instructions on how to use them and the setup for this theme is honestly pretty confusing after uploading the demo content Im not sure what is what.

After importing our demo content – you should have got totally the same site like our demo one, including all the sliders (except Rev Sliders, those need to be imported manually).
Try this: Login to your WP admin. Go to Pages -> homepage, and in slider shortcode field, check which slider is displayed on it http://screencast.com/t/bP5ccI7v
then go to Edge Slider -> Sliders, and find this slider in the list, and click on the number on the right from it http://screencast.com/t/yD9nHy8kZ
that will open the list of all slides inside that slider. Just re-set the background image for every slide, set some photo from your media library.
When it comes to Rev Sliders: you can use them on two ways: either to add them in the content of some page, by adding Revolution Slider element from Visual Composer, and set it to display some of your sliders, or the same like edge slider – you can copy the shortcode for your revolution slider, and paste it into the slider shortcode field in the back-end of some page where you want to show it.

Thank you I’ve gotten the sliders working but noticed one thing when using videos in them I used short demo clip about 3 seconds long in the slider. I uploaded it to the site and it worked for a short period of time & then stopped as a result the entire slider stopped working until I removed the video. Is this some sort of bug or is it better to use videos hosted on another server and not my own?

3.This is default Visual Composer shortcode for this form, and you put other elements manually, to build this page using this shortcode. The results list will be using default WooCommerce list.

5. Yes, it’s available, just like in Vigor.

Sounds brilliant, thank you! Last question: Would it be possible to change/edit the quick view icon/text or would this be related to the plugin itself? Also, I recognized the quick view popup doesn’t really work on iPhone. There’s no way to scroll the popup so everything underneath the image gets cut off.

Quick View icon and label can be changed with a bit of css, nothing to worry.
As for this second part, we will inform our dev team now to check this issue. The thing is that there’s no hover effect on touch devices, so on click you should be navigated to single product page, that’s the expected behavior.

Another question.
Is there a way to hide the 1st single-product image on the single-product layout?
This is what I am trying to do.
001 – Use the 1st single-product images only for the main page listing as ‘Product Thumbnails’.
002 – When you click on the ‘Product Thumbnail image’ on the main page listing, you can move into its single-product layout.
003 – On the single-product layout, we do not see the ‘Product Thumbnail image’. But Instead of the ‘Product Thumbnail image’, only the ‘Single Product gallery Images’ are visible in the order and take over the 1st image’s spot. (on sticky info type)
My point is // I just want to hide the 1st product image(same as the Thumbnail) on the single-product layout. And let the single-product gallery images take the place. //

}2. This is happening because you’ve hit enter when creating text. You can’t use it within this element unfortunately. You should consider using Text Block element for VC for your needs then.

Did you install/activate WooCommerce plugin? You were supposed to do it before demo importing, all missing shortcodes are for products as we can see.
So far I’ve only installed the required plugins. You should add WooCommerce to the TGM plugin activation

No big deal. Just go to Appearance -> menus, delete all imported menus. Then install and activate WooCommerce plugin. And after it, go to Edge Import, and import the demo once again.
I’ll do that, but since you are using TGM to recommend and install plugins, i don’t see any reason why WooCom should not be part of that install process. I buy and build around 40 themes/websites per year… just a suggestion.

If I upload more than 40 items, is it going to list all of them on the front page(with infinite page loading)? or is it going to show just “19” of 40 items on the front page?

There could be several causes of this problem. First you should do is contact your hosting provider and ask them about this, and also ask them to check your error log, to see what does it say there?

And try the solutions from it, increasing your memory_limit parameter first, it could be low and that could be the cause of this.

Hi, I tried every method in that article, nothing wrong with the htcaccess file. And I cannot use php.ini method, it gives me internal error right after refresh. The rest of plugins are working fine. But once I live preview the walker theme, it shows internal error (even before activation). Please help me.
Did you check with your host, what does the error log say?
Hi, the problem solved. there’s no error in the error log. It’s the memory limit issue. But in my case, cannot just add php.ini by myself. It needs to use the editor from the host control panel to edit the existing php.ini. And I increased the memory limit from 64mb to 256mb. Problem solved!!!

Hi, just wondered if you have issues with your server.
I have 200mb connection, and set up correctly, and imported all demo content. i left it running for 8 hours and it got to 30% and all it had imported was roughly 40 images.
no pages or anything had been imported. I know its weekend, and prob wont get response for while, but if you see this, can you check your server.
ive never previously had issues importing
ignore now, took 30 import attempts, 5 hours on 200mb fibre line, and duplicated menus within menus by 5 times… deleting one by one = major pain

This is not actually related to internet connection , but the configuration of your server and it’s resources like memory_limit, upload_max_files size and similar.

1. Unfortunately no, menu can’t be placed under header. Only to manually create the links in the very first row of content, and style them to look similar like menu, and hide real menu.
2. This is rev slider, so you can make it bigger of course.
3. Yes, you can add videos, either in slider, or in page content using Visual Composer’s elements.
4. Yes, it’s possible.

We can help with that work-around solution we mentioned. Just to create some links , and you can also put logo image in the very first row of content , left from the links, under the slider, for the homepage only.
Just to mention once again – that won’t be an actual menu from your WP admin, but the links/navigation you will manually create with html.
