Could you share the URLs again outside of the themeforest iframe? Both of those just lead to the promo landing page.
Also in regards to use the new masonry blog style – it’s available for you to select in your theme options panel > blog tab. It’s the masonry style called “classic enhanced”

I’ve upgraded the theme as well as visual editor as it was explained on the support website. Sadly I do not have active support ability as for now.
But I have problem with Salient theme options – they are gone after the update. Wordpress says I do not have sufficient access to that section. I’ve reset the admin abilities, as well as tried creating a new user but still nothing helps.

Have you verified that no third party plugins active are causing this? Also when you upgraded the theme did you delete the old one before uploading the new?

Dear awesome support team!
We were having a slight issue with the “Flags” used to switch the language. On mobile, the flags are very small in our hamburger menu (our site is www.picavi.com, in case you would like to check) and we are having troubles clicking them on touchscreens. Are there any options to “A: increase the Flag size for mobile” or “B: Add some text like “Switch Language to German” in front of the flag on mobile”.
If you could help us with that, that would be great! As mentioned, we only want to make changes on the mobile version of our site, we like the language switching process the way it is right now on our desktop PCs.

Is there a way to add an API key for Google Maps? I keep getting an error that I’m missing an API key. I don’t see anything in the settings or code to place an API key.

If you’re on a current version of Salient you can add the key into the map.js file in the js folder. The line to mod should be near line 589 of the file – $.getScript(‘https://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&callback=mapAPI_Loaded'); will become $.getScript(‘https://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&key=APIKEYHERE&callback=mapAPI_Loaded'); The next update will add an input for users to add the key in the admin panel

Hi there, Im interested of buying your theme for my e-commerce shop. But when I’ve tried to checkout (eg. if I have 3 items), on the checkout page said ‘Your cart is currently empty.’ I think there is something wrong? As well with the ‘cart’ icon on the top right, it’s shown just 2 items (but I did select more than 2) and sometimes it switched to just ‘total – view cart and checkout’.

I have just created a new domain and installed the latest version of Salient. The Ascend version of the template isn’t displaying the Google Maps. I am receiving an error message: “Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.” After reviewing other’s comments, I saw that my error message might be resolved by adding a modification to the map.js file. However, after making that exact modification, the problem persists, the error message continues to display and Google Maps doesn’t work.

My shop page layout is doing something wrong now, I can’t control the full with in the admin panel, doesn’t matter what option I use, is always layout in 1 or two items per row.
I updated the woocomerce not sure if that could be the problem, the problem appear after a week of updating.

After upgrading to the latest version, two different external lightbox plugins both don’t work anymore. I’ve set the theme lightbox option to “none” under Salient options. You can see the behavior at http://dev.evergladesoutpost.org/test/ by clicking the test link. As you can see, the page seems to briefly try to open a lightbox but then opens the video on its Vimeo page. It’s doing this with two different Lightbox plugins I tried. Thanks for your help.

hello there. i recently added a podcast to my site. There seems to be a lot of issues with responsive appearance for me using your theme. In some cases I’m sure it’s me but I’m also noticing some things wrong with your demo with simple changes like length of a word in the h1.jumbo class.
for example, using your imported Frostwave demo, the top page “this is Salient” looks great until you change the word to something longer (like “Generation”), and it breaks visually on mobile, cutting off the word.
This is the base install with only minor (the font, the text) changes made to your demo. Change things in the h1.jumbo to a different font (raleway in my case), use longer words and they totally break responsive appearance in mobile. Shouldn’t there be scaling implemented in your theme to adjust this, or am I just missing a setting here?

Hey smithwood, the jumbo class was added in the first versions of the theme a couple years ago before there was typography control. Instead of using that for yourself now you can adjust the values of your h1 or other heading tags in the Salient options panel > typography tab. The values will then scale down as expected. Please let me know what other responsive issues you’re referring to and kindly share your URL so I can take a look

So I’ve left it all alone other than the typeface, I had made some edits to some elements but I commented them out to see if it would revert to scaling, it isn’t. And on your demo it doesn’t either—just the base install with demo. I change the word “salient” to “generation” and it cuts off. Any long word does, on mobile.

That did help it, however it is still broken on an iphone, more of the word shows but it is neither centered really (nor are the buttons stacking centered) nor is the type scaling on an iPhone. It DOES scale properly when I reaize my desktop browser, so perhaps this is why you’re not noticing a problem you may not be using an iPhone? Is it because viewport isn’t being used?
Where do you find this nonbreaking space as it doesn’t show in the editor/page or MCE either in visual or text. I just deleted it and retyped it and it seems to be better.
I did have a font size set, but . But your settings don’t really help on telling me what exactly I’m changing—Is this the Nectar specific header font? Is it the heading font? I changed both to 48 px and 53px line height but I it doesn’t make any change (even with cleared cache).
Just to emphasize to you: I tested this on your own demo on the themeforest preview and it is broken there too. I wonder if it’s just iPhone?
Can you just provide me a @media way to target it? I think that would be much easier for both of us. Also you might want to fix it on your demo?

Question: is there an add-on or widget that can be used with this theme , where i can create a stand alone “part” of a layout , that can then be used across multiple pages? ( so that, updates to that part only need to be managed in one place)
