I now have the latest wordpress…but even before that, visual composer wants me to activate license. I have the LUSH, musician theme. 2.27. I know there is a new theme…but it won’t let me upload it and activate it. Visual composer is needed big time. I have deleted it and reinstalled it. I have got support and they went in and said, ‘oh, you need to update your VC, do that.” But…I freakin’ can’t. please help.

Which theme version are you running and which visual composer are you running?
If you delete the plugin Visual Composer, then go to appeareance > install plugin, you will be able to install the plugin again (which is the version packaged with our theme).

The menu point WP-Admin > Lush > Import Default Data doesen´t exist, so ican not install the data.

Since the last update, we have changed the way to import demos. Sorry if our documentation is not up to date. We are fixing this right now.
To install a demo please go to wp-admin>appearance>install plugin and install demo importer.
And then go to wp-admin>tools>import demo.

I have recently updated my theme to the latest version (2.7.1) and re-installed/activated Visual Composer, but now it won’t work (It also wasn’t working before the update) and says that I need to activate my copy of VC. When I click activate it says that I have no licenses and need to buy VC. Any thoughts?

Here is a text from our documentation.
“Sometimes, plugins will ask you to enter a Licence Key or API Key. Well, you don’t need a licence key or API key to activate it. The plugin will still work even if you don’t have that licence key.
The licence key or API key is only used for automatic updates offered by the plugin authors and is available if you purchase the plugin for yourself at codecanyon.net
Since we include the plugin directly (for free) into our theme, we made sure the plugin is 100% compatible with the theme. If you decide to purchase the plugin license for yourself and update the plugin, the theme might break.
We (IronTemplates) are responsible to update the pre-packaged plugins that comes with our theme. We release plugin updates on regular basis after testing them and make sure they are 100% compatible within our theme. It’s the way it works for every themes that offer third party plugins packaged into the theme.”
Please go first to wp-admin>plugins, and remove Visual composer. And then go to wp-admin>appearance>plugins install, and re-install Visual composer.

Unfortunatly, I see this is put in manually in the theme. Is there a way to recreate this using blog posts?

If you can do what you want with Visual composer in the description post section, you are ok. Otherwise, you need to customize the single post file and this is beyond the scope of our customer support.

: 1/ there is a way to use SEO in Lush theme on each tracks ? I already use a SEO plugin, but i need to edit SEO, to people who search by track names instead of Record. It is possible on Lush ? I only found it on page options of Records (pages). I have two full records but need to edit SEO on each tracks one by one. I’d like visitors of my site, be able to click the track’s names and have more infos on the track they clicked. example : if i need to put lyrics of each songs or other infos that i cannot put in the record page.
2/ I also have one question about Visual Composer, i already purchased it few months ago, so i have a full license for it, i installed it instead of these provided with Lush . I have no Visual composer in my discographies when i create a new discography. It possible to use VC in a discography page usually ?
3/ I need to fix the sizes of cover artworks in my discography page , they are actually bigger that what i need. Maybe an option to put the final size of each covers in my discography page is already available ?

Oops i forgot : 4/ Can i use an horizontal menu for my website with Lush theme On top of every page ( i have already a menu that open a menu with the navigation icon on the top left corner and one in my footer. 1) You can’t edit SEO on each track sorry.
2) You can use your own VC license, but just be sure, when you update it, we tested the new version.
And yes you can use VC in a single post discography.
3) No. This option is not available. You need to do it with custom CSS.
4) Not really, but you can add additional horizontal item if you go to wp-admin >LUSH > menu > HOTLINK.

I purchased the theme and the Iron Demo Importer plugin is giving an error message that I don’t have sufficient permissions to access the settings. I am therefore unable to import the default data in its entirety. I have re-installed the plugin a couple of times but that hasn’t worked. Please advise.

I seem to be having a problem with the menu. I cannot change the colors of the menu icons and the background of the menu. When I go to change the colors in look and feel they stay the same colors.

Hey i purchased the lush theme and I am using the solo demo for my template, My question is a simple one but I cannot figure out how to edit the page banner image. I deleted the stock image but there is no where to add another image.

If you want to change the image background from your banner, go in the “page banner” section. Rollover on the picture and you will see how to replace it.

Hi, i purchased your theme and starting to build my discography page. I just correctly create an album with 15 titles – Mp3’s etc. Now i go on my discography page i have only big pixelleted cover. How can i change the sizes of the albums covers on my discography page, i’d like to have a Grid-style discography page. Maybe 3 or 4 covers by line . Please could you tell where to change that ? Sorry, i fixed it. Just add an other of my album and it resized my albums. I have an other issue with LUSH, That is : I cannot delete the L of Lush as favicon, when i try to bookmark the pages of my site to test, The Lush favicon remains here, but i have delete all the favicons in the Lush menus. Don’t know how to delete the bookmark favicon. If you can help me please

Where did you change your fav icon exactly? In the new wordpress 4.5.x, there is a place to change the icon in appeareance > customize.
Tell me if you did that and we will assist you. Is it possible to provide us your URL?

Hi, I erased the default logos of Lush Theme in Favicons & Metadatas, and Menus in Lush Options, and also in Customize menu of Wordpress. Maybe i need to erase this logo file in my ftp ? The logo of Lush theme ( L ) Appears only when i put the pages of my website as bookmarks in my internet browser. I cleared the cache multiple time and i don’t know where to check to erase this logo. I have not yet created my favicon, but i can try to create one to test if it replace the actual logo. Thanks a lot for support

Hi, I finally could resolve this. I quickly created a Jpg and used the website in favicon to create my favicon icons. Now everything ok about Favicons. I have one more question : I see that i have a woocommerce folder in my ftp, in the folder of Lush theme, can i remove it ( i will not use woocommerce, i use your theme only to showcase my music, i will not sell with woocommerce on my website). How can i delete it please ? Thanks a lot ^^

You can remove the folder woocommerce in our theme if you never use it, but why? Everytime you will update our theme the folder will be there. I really suggest to not modify theme folder content.
