I’m trying to upgrade from 7.2 to 7.3 because Visual Composer is broken but the upgrade keeps breaking my site. I have tried everything recommended on this page point by point carefully following the process of an install using a child theme

1. While a child theme is active, go to Theme Options -> Export & Import, copy theme settings. 2. Rename The7 v.2 folder to /dt-the7-old/. 3. Activate The7 v.2. Go to Theme Options -> Export & Import, import theme settings. 4. Upload The7 v.3 folder to /dt-the7/. 5. Activate The7 v.3. Run theme options transfer tool. 6. Go to Theme Options -> Export & Import, copy theme settings. 7. Activate a child theme. Go to Theme Options -> Export & Import, import theme settings.

No luck. As soon as I hit point 3 and activate the theme the admin panel goes blank and I can’t access anything.

I have tried upgrading from 7.2 version 1.0.3 to 7.2 version 2.3.13 and same thing. I have tried just upgrading Visual Composer and again same thing – Admin panel goes blank as soon as I activate the updated version of the plugin.

Hi, I am using The7 version 4.3.0.1. How is this possible since I see now that the current version has 3.9? After updating, I lost portfolio, testimonials, team, partner from admin menu and home page not even loading. Any ideas? Thanks

I have issue with latest theme version. Did not happen before with earlier versions. Every time i try to install your the 7 plugin “The 7 post types” i get back this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘id’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘)’ in /home/zucbbzco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/dt-the7-core/mods/logos/admin/metaboxes/metaboxes-logos.php on line 21

And i can not access WP Dashboard anymore – until i manually delete plugin from plugins folder. Any clue?

Hi, I have changed my domain and wanted to install and download the demo contents again, some how all the attempts to install the demo contents fail. I made the php setting max_execution_time = 320 memory_limit = 526M post_max_size = 256M upload_max_filesize = 340M still the demo upload fails.. any idea? Thanks

Hi, it seams that i have a problem that i cant figure out. When i scroll down, the floating header leaves a gap on the top before the floating header. how can i make the gap disappear without having to make the floating header sticky.

The Visual Composer is no longer working on the site is that because I no longer receive support or do I have to renew or purchase a separate license? I am running on most updated version, it just spins when I try to open it. Thanks.

This is the ultimate and most advanced theme I have ever used. The only thing I feel that it lacks is the E-commerce features and styling that some other themes have an advantage over this. If you can work on the WooCommerce feature to give it a more appealing look to it such as mouse over effects when hovering over items etc. This would be great! Otherwise awesome job guys!

Hello there! I’m having a problem with smooth scrolling anchors in the menu on mobile devices. When I use the links in the mobile menu they smooth scroll down to the anchor point but then the page stops working and it becomes unscrollable unless you refresh the page. Not sure how to make this work/how you get this to work in your demos? Thank you so much in advanced!
