We are wanting a background video at the top of the home page, or at least the ability to add a “play now” button on top of an image, or something like that.
Its easy to do with Revolution Slider which is included.

How difficult it is to implement a booking functionality in this theme?
We’d like to be able to book freelancers (because in our industry they have to work on site for a couple of weeks)
I don’t know to be honest because we never tried this on this theme, but it’s a great idea to add it as an option in future some updates. Thanks.
What about the credentials to get access the demo as candidate and employer? plus, the sign up process doesn’t works, it’s a white screen
I just checked both demos a second ago and registering works fine. To get access as employee or employer you need to register.
is possible to install the sample? what are the hosting requirements ?
Same requirements like for WP, nothing special. Demo data is available to install.

After a weekend of getting the Theme installed and set up like the demo – I am fairly pleased with Jobseek + WP Job Manager. However there is one key thing I feel I should mention appears lacking in probably WP Job Manager over the Jobseek Theme itself:
Candidate Management Dashboard has Resume Management – this is fine. But applying and getting a job is a long process involving more than one application usually, and if the idea is that sites are built using this tool, it really needs to provide some minimal dashboard functionality, like the job manager dashboard, to show applications made, track status of application, allow hide/remove failed ones, at least something whereby if the user is registering on the site he will want to track these things. Resume Manager on its own I don’t think is enough if the intention is that you put effort into adding multiple resumes etc.
If anyone has any ideas on how to achieve this it would be most welcomed! I’m quite stuck at the moment! Thanks.

Can’t seem to get that Loco Translate Plugin changing wording (english) example, on the Apply Popup – “Upload your CV/resume or any other relevant file. Max. file size: 800 MB” – I can see the text in WP Job Manager Applications but when I change it it doesn’t reflect on the form – what am I doing wrong here? Note the translation file replaces 800 with % which makes sense as that must be config. My concern is that you are overriding somewhere as the text is also upper case on the form but on the loco translate it’s lower? Cheers

I hope you had a great weekend! Question: Is there a way to add text on the Nav Bar? I was hoping to add a tagline to the right of my logo. I saw where there is a field for a tagline in Appearance > Site Identity, but it did not flow through to the Nav Bar.

but how it will look on tablets and mobile devices? There is not enought space I think to fit a logo, tagline and menu at once.
Also making that will require small customizations, we didn’t count that somebody will want to put the text there.
Maybe adding a text to image with logo will workr for you?

1) I have a couple of different Packages for the Job Poster to choose from. One is for a Single Job Post ($50), and the other is for Multiple Job Posts ($35). I do not see a way to prevent an Employer from purchasing the less expensive Multiple Job Posts Package and posting just one (1) job.
2) I have my Job Post Listings set to stay on the job board for 30 days. If an Employer purchases a Package and doesn’t Post A Job for 15 days, will that Listing be on the job board for 15 days?

I think you can but to be sure please check all options and available plugins on our demo website. I also can not make any promises that you will be able to replicate all functions from freelancer.com because I simply don’t know how it’s built, but I see upwork.com is built on the same plugins we use.

Yes, there is an option that user has to be registered to post a job.
I have a question, I purchased the theme yesterday. Is there anyway I can upload a logo and get rid of the Jobseek logo? I don’t see anywhere to do that?
Also, how do I add those columns like it has on the preview? I can’t figure that out. Most themes are theme options when you install theme, this one doesn’t and is quite hard to figure out how to use.

Theme options is an old way, now themes use customizer instead. Go to appearance – customize and you will see.

What is complex, customizer is much simpler and intuitive than any options panel. They are not allowed in new themes here anymore.
I know how to use converter and how to create WP websites. Just thought your theme was more than just a job board posting theme. No worries. It’s easy. I couldn’t get the logo on there the way I like it but I have your theme to use in the future.
All your suggestion are welcome. What you wish to have in this theme? We are now finishing the 2 version of it, it will have fully refreshed design, rewritten code and we always looking how ot improve it.

Hello, I’ve purchased the template in the past. Just had a question about the images that came with the template. Are we able to use those images, or do we need to go through the process of buying licenses. If we need to buy licenses, could you share the links to the images to purchase them (i.e. a list of links to images used within the template).
We bought it on dollarphotoclub.com but it’s doesn’t operate anymore. All those picture have been moved to Adobe Stock Photos and you can buy licence there. I think they even kept the same file numbers.
