Great program got one question about video. Can you add video to a 1/2 width container as background or element to take up all space of the 1/2 container. I know you can on fullwidth container background video but need it 1/2 width. I want a youtube video to take up full width of a column option of 1/2—1/2 left is text and then 1/2 on right would be video. Tried placing a slider element but also only gives me max of 600px wide. It is a boxed version of the church example – so for example on the community page have the left side ‘Believe in Each other’ as text and right side instead of photo of people at campfire want a video taking up that entire 1/2 container. Thanks.

Currently our columns can only take photo backgrounds or colors, not videos. Videos can go in full width containers as mentioned.
You could try using a rev slider for this?

It means that your theme installation was not complete and probably some of the theme files went missing from in there, can you please install a fresh copy of Avada using the FTP method as mentioned here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/ftp-installation/

We have our own sliders where you can assign a self hosted or YouTube hosted video and making the header responsive will turn it into a video header, you can see the demos here please.

I want to remove nice scroll bar that you have used in this theme. Just default scrollbar would do fine. One plugin is not woking properly due to that scrollbar. Please do the needful as soon as possible. my work is stuck in between due to that.

Will Avada 5.0 implement AMP HTML? Also is there a release date for 5.0 yet? I know it’s hard to give definitive dates and has been pushed back to mid August but it’s something I have been keeping an eye out for and looking forward to seeing.

We are working towards a future compatibility but not in 5.0 right now, regarding the 5.0 release date we have actually no solid date set for now as this is a major release and needs all the testing that can be done before releasing it, Almost half of our team is on beta test already, but it will be somewhere near mid august

No that’s fine, I imagine now AMP has started to become a major thing in SEO Yoast will develop their plugin to suite. Hi. My avada theme is still in 3.8.3 version. How to patch google maps issue? Do i have to update themes to 3.9 and then 4.0 to patch it? any alternatives?

You need to update theme to our latest version that is 4.0.3 to apply the patch. However since you are on 3.8+ version you can directly update from there to 4.0.3.

Hello. At avada iot is a big problem with menu. When i want to add someting new in menu it crush and when i want to restore menu don’t work!

My theme option background colour show Sanitized value and saved as #FFFFFF instead of FFFFFF.
So although i set the colour correct in theme option but it cannot apply to my page.

I’m interested in buying the Avada theme. Does this theme have staging builtin? In other words can I preview my work without publishing it to the web? If staging is not builtin what are my options to preview my work? WordPress plugin maybe?

As Avada is only the theme side of your website, it doesn’t come with a staging feature built in. This is something that would be best handled by either your web host, or via a plugin. I don’t use a plugin myself, as my web host comes with a staging option. You may wish to give a plugin such as this one a try:

However, it hasn’t been tested by out team, so we can’t really comments on it’s effectiveness. The other alternative is to create the staging site manually by following these steps:

Hi, I can’t get the filter to work on my portfolio page. Nothing happens when clicking on the filter menu on my portfolio page, all the portfolio posts are visible on the page and when clicking on a category on the filter menu it generate this url mysite.com/portfolio/# on the browser and pushes me on the top of the page. What I am missing?

You do not need a plugin for testimonials, we include a testimonial shortcode with the theme, you can see it here: http://avada.theme-fusion.com/testimonials/ ... and it has two different design styles along with various customization options.

At the moment, we don’t have the option to display a form to submit testimonials, they have to be added manually via the shortcode options. You will need to use a third party plugin if you wish to have a front end form where users can submit testimonials.

Unfortunately the ‘center’ option that was referred to above only works for header #5 and the side headers, it won’t apply to header #6 as it only supports left and right alignment. If you align the logo to the right, the menu will be moved to the left. You can do this via your Theme Options -> Logo -> Logo Alignment and setting the value to ‘right’.

Make sure that when inserting the logo, you are choosing the “original size” image and not larger, medium or thumbnail.
