Hi I have bought this theme and it is a dream to use but im not happy that I had to buy slider revolution as an additional cost of $19.
Its part of the theme should this not work from the get-go?
Hence why I’m now looking for another theme as with the addition of the $19 that makes this theme $83

All plugins that comes bundled with The7 can be installed via Plugins > The7 Plugins interface. You can use them free of charge without purchasing any additional licensees.
Well that wasn’t my experience and I’ve seen in past posts you say that you need to purchase that makes this theme an extra 19 ? not going to argue.
Ive seen first hand what happens, you but the theme it doesn’t work and face lame vague responses, that don’t help you, so you pay out 19 to solve the issue.

Excuse me what are talking about? Every plugin that is advertised as bundled with The7 comes with it. They all are functional and do not require any additional licenses.
If you are new to ThemeForest and Envato marketplaces in general, then welcome. But please do yourself a favour and get accustomed with marketplaces rules of bundling plugins with themes. This how all themes here on ThemeForest works.

At the time of the issue, I read that while it was part of the theme, it hadnt been updated etc and that a purchase would be required, while I am new to this. My fellow workers couldn’t solve the issue either…..........Leading to me without much experience having to buy another copy of rev slider.
I have spoke to another of your staff who has been more helpfull and offered to help me sort the issue out…...I think you call that customer service.

I guess I misunderstood you then. I thought you were demanding to provide you dedicated license for slider revolution. My bad. Sorry.
Normally you can install and update plugins via Plugins > The7 Plugins interface. But in very rare cases there can be issues with it.
That’s why I always encourage buyers to contact our support if they encounter technical issues. Though being Dream-Theme co-founder and one of its developers, server-side issues are very much outside of the area of my expertise

Hi, I am trying to configure the dt-blog widget option. There is an option ‘order by modified’. How can I use this option? The goal is to show 3 particular blog post instead of random or shown by date. Can I perform this with ‘order by modified’ option? Or is there another way to eventually show 3 particuler blog items?

Hi there. In Theme Options-General-Advanced i see there is option to change Slugs for Portfolio, Albums and Team but nowhere i can find to change slug for Testimonials. It always refers to “dt_testimonials”. Is there a way to change Slug for Testimonials as well?

Display video in the background is not working correctly. Correctly, it is displayed on the 1920 or smaller resolution screens. If the screen resolution is larger video check a narrow strip.

Hi there. Regarding “Lieta” response “gallery page doesn’t show pictures on mobile.” and your fix about caching plugins setup. Does that mean we need to wait for another refreshed theme update at themeforest repository or that was your individual issue on your server and we can continue to use v3.9.1 with no problem?

Nope, compatibility for WooCommerce 3.6.x was added in v.3.8.1 of The7.

We do not have a specific release date as we just started working on it. We hope to release it in the beginning of the fall.
BTW, update v.4.0 will be fully compatible with v.3.x.

Pre sales question: I’m looking to create a WordPress multisite on my domain and would like to know that is it possible to use just one The7 theme regular license for this?

Michael, it’s not MY mind. Authors are prohibited to give legal advice to buyers. Imagine the situation when I said that you can use the theme this way, and Envato legal department decides that you are violating the license.. I do not want to put you or myself in this position. And if other authors is doing it – they are wrong.
Again it’s not up to author to decide. It’s up to Envato legal department to give you the proper answer.
I asked this about Envato and here’s what they said:
“All of the licenses on the Envato Market sites are for a single use. If you wanted to use the item you’ve purchased on multiple sites, then one or both of the following situations may apply:
1.If you are going to use the item on one domain, or multiple subdomains, you will only require one License. For example:
www.domain.com/siteOne siteTwo.domain.com/ site.Three.domain.com/
2.However, if you are going to use the item on multiple domains, then you will need to purchase a License for each domain. For example:
www.domain-siteOne.com/ www.domain-site.two.com/ www.site-three-domain.com/”

According to Envato Standard license 1 site/project = 1 license purchased. Using single license on multiple sites is considered as license violation and can result in disabling your Envato account.
How can i change latest posts/blog home page title? I mean if i set latest posts as home, how can change the title then? It’s default title is Blog.
