Hi guys, not sure if this is a dumb question, but can´t find a solution. Any way to show porfolio items as in a products carrousel ? I mean, arrows that take to next items on a simple file? Thx Luis

I’m using the full screen rows. Is there any way to add an image to each row but align it to the bottom of the row so it appears at the bottom of the fullscreen.
At the moment everything is centred which is great but I just want a small (next row) link to sit at the bottom of each row that when clicked will scroll to next row

I’ve looked through the video and can’t find an answer
I want the row content to be centred in the screen but the last text box in the row to be anchored to the bottom of the screen as a ‘click here for next row’ link.
If I add it now it just sits under the content and if I add padding to bring it down the other row content is forced up.
Is there a way to add some a class to anchor an element to the bottom of the row whilst keeping everything else centred?
Hey, sorry about that – I thought you were referring to an image positioned at the bottom. If you need column content to be at the bottom it would require css. If you provide your URL where the content exists I can provide an example snippet
No worries… I’ve not got the site live yet. I’m using the ascend format full width. If you can give me a steer of what to put where I should be able to sort it. I’ve basically got my row content and then the last element is a text block that I want to align to the base of the screen. I will have this on each of the rows that use the full screen row function
You’d need to give each of your text block which you wanted to align to the bottom a class such as “bottom-align” and then add this css into the custom css box:
body .full-page-inner .container, body .full-page-inner .col {

The same technique would be used – except the class would go on the image element. Also change the snippet to be this for horizontal centering

That doesn’t seem to centre the image (it’s off centred left and then jumps to the right when the browser is reduced) and when I use the code all clickable links on the page are not functioning for some reason.
Buttons are not clickable and image links are not too. I will try and get a live site so you can see the issue.
Appreciate this isn’t part of the theme so don’t want to take up too much of your time.

Hello, just purchase theme, how is installation process to install child theme, document is writing about installation, but nothing about installing child theme???

You don’t need to install the child theme unless you’re going to be modifying the theme files – to install it all you need to do is upload the child zip in Appearance > Themes if you desire

also, i noticed that on the mobile version, menu items that have sub menus, the actually main menu item is not clickable but rather triggers the secondary menu to show up. E.G. when I like “about” it triggers the sub menu instead of letting me click on the “about” page. not sure if this is clear but that I would flag it in case it isnt something im doing wrong. im running test theme drive so i cant even share the link that would let you see it but will once my site is finished.
one other thing i noticed on the mobile version… nectar slides that have a text alignment othr than center is cut off.

?Hello, I am trying to set up an off canvas menu to slide out from the right (in addition to the main navigation menu). i have switched on the off canvas menu item and assigned another menu to this but it is not showing up at all on our website. Can you suggest any reasons/ fixes for this?

Hi, i tried to add a function in javascript, on click -> alert(‘text’), on desktop everything is working fine, but on mobile the function it’s not working at all. The theme is purchased by the owner of this website: http://wpmanage.co.uk/, i’m just the dev. For demo, go to the website and click on “IT’S A SCIENCE”. On mobile the alert isn’t working. Why ?

Thanks for answering ! I added on click function for desktop and bind touchend for mobile. It’s working but i don’t understand why is not working the on click function on mobile ? On hover it’s working ! I add the function back on “IT’S A SCIENCE” text with class ”.test”.
Is there a way to change the speed that the images are displayed on a cascading image? Right now when I set one up they cascade so fast you cant even see them.

Not as of now, the purpose of the cascading images is not to slowly cycle through images, but just to give you a way to create the end result which would otherwise require photoshop i.e. stacked images

No sorry my fault, i did not check it. But i have done now, and it seems the plugin Ultimate member is the cause of the issue. When i deactivate the plugin i can change the font.

But what we needed to make clear is about the Bug: “The plugins badge doesn’t appear in the single product
page (on the main photo of the product), however it appears on the first thumbnail below the main photo (which is in fact the same one). When we deactivate the “Gallery slider with zoom on Hover” in Theme options, suddendly everything works fine. There is some bug in it, avoiding to display the badge.”
Any solution?
We assume that the Breadcrumb doesn’t work properly on products (don’t show the full path). Does the Theme support that?
Of course, “Finally, we want to change the slide transitions effect in the
product images (inside of the single product page) to a fade effect for example and also make the thumbnails slider below infinite.” is a custom work, but anyway we appreciate your advise.

1. It seems you haven’t updated to the current version of Salient yet, please do so and activate your badge plugin so I can check the issue further. The single product image function was changed in the current version and should allow it to work
2. Are you using yoast for adding breadcrumbs?
3. In salient/js/jquery.iosslider.min.js change this:

A fade transition would require more custom development since there’s no plugin options for transitions as it’s a touch based slider and would inherently move horizontally
