Hi – I have just started to use this template and having 1 issue i wonder if you could help – even though my support has ran out – i cannot find where to change the slider images on the home page – such as the one that says Adventures of Rajasthan – I’ve looked for a couple of hours now and just cannot see where to change the images on the slider http://motorbikeadventuresofindia.com

Hello!

For support, if you bought before September 1st 2015, see this post :) https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/grandfathered-support/

For our site, you are using the Fusion Slider, so you can edit them there, there is a sidebar item called “Fusion Slider” and you can edit “slides” or “sliders”.

See this post: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/sliders/fusion-slider/

Thanks!

I watched the video tutorial but I’m sorry this just does not answer my question – i cannot see where you put the smaller image into the boxes within the blue slider showing currently on my home page titled – Rajasthan – Lifestyle – Travel etc etc – I can change the main picture on the full page that they link to but not the smaller image, in the 8 boxes on the home page http://motorbikeadventuresofindia.com (by the way thank you for responding its very much appreciated)

Hello There.

I am not seeing any 8 images on your homepage but only 6 of them and those are our portfolio items, you can use recent works shortcode to showcase the portfolio items in grid format like that, to learn more about this please read the article here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/portfolio/recent-work-shortcode/

Hope that was helpful, however if you need further assistance please do open a support ticket by renewing your support if you would like to.

Ammar.

I have a question regarding moving the Page title and container/background. I need it to be below the slider and just above the first paragraph of text here: http://www.aspenwindows.com/virginia/window-replacement/danville/ Right now it is above the slider.

I have tried putting in various CSS code but only managed to move the title and not the container itself. (I did this: .page-title { margin-top:475px; })

When I tried this: .page-title-container { margin-top: 100px;}

It left a big white space at the top of the page. Can’t have that!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello!

We would love to assist you with this, but will need our support to take a closer look. Right now your account does not show it was purchased.

If you can get the purchase code for the account, you can signup with these steps and submit a ticket and work directly with one of our devs: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/avada-theme-support/

Thank you!

No, I didn’t personally purchase this. Someone else did. I’m just the website tech who is taking over. So yeah, it’s been bought just not by me. Sorry about that! Looks like I can’t actually get the page title AND the container to both move below the slider and just above the content text so what I’m going to do is hide all of that and manually add in titles into the content itself.

Hey @visionarydesigns85!

Is it possible for you to get in touch with the person who originally purchased the theme? If you’re the liaison for their website, it would be useful if they could provide you with their purchase code so that you can submit support tickets on their behalf via our support center.

Hey everyone!

There is no “Endless Possibilities” with this item. This theme has a few demos and is very limited in pre-designed blocks and widgets. Support guys wasn’t helpful, also there is no refund for this item so I have to put aside it and forget about the money I wasted purchasing this item and try to find and purchase another theme.

Hi there

There are a few things that we do need to clarify in order to provide an accurate perspective here

Your refund requests cited that the theme is broken and not working as advertised. this is simply not the case as we know and conclusively confirm that Avada works exactly as advertised.

You had in fact created a support ticket, but in the support ticket requested and stipulated that you were trying to replicate elements that which another theme provides, in terms of layout and functionality. Avada is highly flexible and customizable, however, no two themes are or can be alike. This is the entire point behind being and remaining competitive on the marketplace.

The general layout of what you are trying to achieve can be accomplished with Avada, however your alternate theme example has some highly custom design cues and functionality that is specific to that theme only. If you want to achieve this with Avada then you will need to implement a custom solution

Regarding our demos, this is exactly what they are. Demos. Each demo, demonstrates what can be achieved with Avada’s available layout, elements and options framework. The possibilities are endless, but trying to emulate a completely unrelated theme 100% exact is is void.

If you have any furrier questions or would like further assistance please feel free to create another support ticket and our team will gladly assist you

Thank you, MB

Ok I see you are a robot or just copy and paste some text. I see how you support us! Great! Ok I will contact you if “If you have any furrier questions”.

Hello!

MB felt he covered the topics in his replies which is why he replied the same. He is no robot, I promise you that :) Although he does work a lot! (suppose to be funny)

I will say this, “endless” does not mean “anything” ... with the options we have it allows you to virtually build endless designs, as you can see from our own demos.

And we add more options all the time requested from our users.

I will please implore you to signup at our support center and submit tickets for questions you have, our team of experts work around the clock to help our customers.

Thanks!

Hi! Is it possible to hide one of the categories in blog sidebar?

Hello!

Hmm maybe with custom css, depends. Our support team will know submit a ticket there for us and they’ll let you know :)

Thanks!

Once i purchase the Avada theme License, is that it is for life time? and i will be able to update the latest Avada theme? and after i purchase, how do i manage the license, so that i can have the automatic update for Avada theme? And where to add the site to use this purchase Avada theme?

Hey @codermas!

Yes, Avada itself is a one time purchase. You will receive updates to the theme without needing to renew or purchase a new license. With your initial purchase you receive six months of product support from our team. After this period, if you still wish to receive support from us, you will need to purchase an extension via your ThemeForest account. This is only for the hands on support, you will still receive updates to the theme regardless of your support period.

After purchasing Avada you can register your installation via your WordPress dashboard and receive the automatic updates. Please refer to this article in our documentation for more information about this process:

https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/how-to-register-your-purchase/

Thanks!

Ryan

Hi there

We are looking forward to buy your theme. Just wondering, by using your theme is it possible to setup a customer support portal like http://nicethemes.com/theme/flatbase/ or like the support area that you guys have on your website?

Thanks!

Hey @aka343!

Hmm, a customer support desk requires fairly unique features, features that most websites would not really use. Avada does have some of these elements built in, such as FAQ’s and when used with other plugins such as BuddyPress and bbPress, you can get a fairly powerful customer support center.

Having said that, Avada doesn’t have built in options for handling support tickets and the like. I believe you would need to use a third party plugin to achieve this functionality.

I hope we get to see you join the ever-growing Avada community!

Thanks!

Ryan

Thanks a lot for your response. Just wondering which theme are you using for your website https://theme-fusion.com/ and is it available for sale as well? This is exactly what I am looking for.

Most of it was custom work but we are using an older theme and rebuilding it with Avada 100%, which is already in the works.

Thanks!

Is visual composer needed for this theme?

Hey @patriciawords!

Visual Composer is not required or included with Avada. We have created our own page builder that is built to untilize all of Avada’s shortcodes and options. You can read more about the features of our page builder here:

https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/builder/

We’re also in the beta testing period for Avada 5.0 which includes a brand new page builder built from the ground up. There are quite a lot of new features coming with this update and you can read all about it in this post on our website:

https://theme-fusion.com/avada-5-0-building-the-future/

I hope we get to see you join the ever-growing Avada community!

Thanks!

Ryan

Hi

I need to be able to remove the Fusion Builder switch button via CSS but nothing appears to be working (when I’ve finished building the site for a client I want to switch to the default editor and then remove the button entirely (to discourage a client from screwing up the layout)

I’ve been trying this, and variations thereof (and also including the same for the secondary). – ooh the code doesn’t appear to be coming out when posted here – but the open/close brackets are there in real code!

fusion-pb-switch-button a#fusion-pb-switch-button.button-primary
   position: relative;
   bottom: -10px;
   z-index: 1001;
   display: none !important;

This removes the button fine when I use it via Firefox Webtools and add display: none; but outside of that it just just won’t stick when I add it to Avada custom CSS, it’s very frustrating!!!

What am I doing wrong ?(I figure this isn’t suited to a support ticket)

If I can get rid of that button after I have designed the layout and switched to the default editor so it just shows the code, then I can purchase this site for every cient without worrying about them messing things up (i maintain the sites as well, so they aren’t paying me for a do it yourself site builder, but they will go in there to add products ocassionally and they will mess with things if that button is there!! Happens frequently whenever I have used a theme with the options available rather than build one from scratch)

Thanks for any help.

Hey @shaolin2!

Not a problem, glad I could assist. We have made some changes to this option in Avada 5.0 to accommodate for the new page builder. It can now be disabled on each individual post type (posts, pages, products etc), however if you disable the page builder in 4.0.3, when you update to 5.0 that setting will be applied to all of the post types, achieving the same result.

Thanks!

Ryan

That’s awesome! Looking forward to v5.0. :)

So are we :) If you would like to help beta test, you can always signup here: https://theme-fusion.com/forums/topic/avada-beta-testing/

Can other forum and community plugin be integrated? WP symposium , buddypress and the likes?

Hello!

Yes you can use those plugins with Avada (symposium has not been fully tested but we’ve not had any reported issues).

BuddyPress will work out of the box, however we do not offer design integrations for them as we do for something like WooCommerce or bbPress. We do have BuddyPress on our list to add design option/customizations for, but I cannot give an eta for that at the moment.

Let us know if you have further questions!

Thanks!

Apart from bbpress, what other forum/community plugin do you recommend I can use on your with your theme with just simple installation?

Hey @fm7285!

At the moment, the only forum/community plugins that have been tried and tested by our team are bbPress and BuddyPress. Unfortunately as we haven’t tested the theme with any of the others, I can’t officially recommend a specific one. Having said that, Avada is generally compatible with most well-coded plugins that adhere to WordPress coding standards. I would recommend giving your plugin of choice a try with Avada and see how you go.

Thanks!

Ryan

Can fusion builder help me build a community with buddypress?

Hello!

Currently we do not offer design integration for BuddyPress, it is however compatible with Avada.

As for Fusion Builder, it will be available to use on any custom post type in our upcoming 5.0 update :) (right now it will not show on custom post types, but it will in a few weeks or so)

Thanks!

Hi there,

Any possible way of adding a few social icons next to the toggle menu icon in header 5? I’m thinking where the search icon is currently located.

Thanks for all of your awesome work!

-M

Hello!

Thanks for the comments, we appreciate it :)

By default, header 5 can only take social icons but only up in that top bar.

However are you referring to the search icon that shows up in the regular menu area, like at the end of here (the shot does not show the search icon, just where it would be at): http://d.pr/i/1fSoo

If so, you can add custom menu items and select any ont awesome icon, so yes in theory this can be done. Add a custom menu item and only enter a space for the name, then select a FA icon.

Hi there,

I want to purchase you product, but i need developer to confirm if i can build classified-ads website? And if i can design search panel according to posts and user needs? In other word can i design any customized website using avada?

Please, answer me at the earliest.

Thanks.

Hello @AymanElgammal.

I have replied you about the very same query above, when it comes to customization you can certainly customize the theme your own way, we actually include a child theme file with our theme for this very purpose as well.

https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/avada-child-theme/

To answer your query in short about this “In other word can i design any customized website using avada?”

Yes of course, we also have customization partners of our own that you can get assistance with in case you need some major customization with the theme files.

Hope that was helpful.

Thanks

Ammar.

Hello i have two languages(arabic-english) in my site and two main menu.i want change font size in main in arabic seperately from english menu. How can i do it? Thanks

Hello @enesintr

This is certainly doable since when using any multi language site the theme options are individually set, so you can set separate theme options for each language, you should see a language selector at the very top of your WP admin bar, please select the language from there and then go to Theme Options > Menu > Main Menu Typography and set the different size from there.

If you want to learn more about how how theme options work with different multi languages please read these articles.

http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-set-different-theme-options-with-wpml/ http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-set-different-theme-options-with-polylang/

Good day,

I have a pre-sale questions. Can this theme use with Cornerstone or Visual Composer Plugin together ?

Thanks

Hello @GIantHeart

We have never tried cornerstone builder on our theme however some of our users do use Visual Composer plugin with our theme, tho i would very much suggest you to try our own Fusion Page Builder that is awesome and easy to use and its new version is going to be a whole new advancement in Avada and you can read all about it below please.

http://avada.theme-fusion.com/fusion-builder-2/ https://theme-fusion.com/avada-5-0-building-the-future/

We will be delighted for you to join the largest theme community out there.

Ammar.

Hello team! I’m really interested in buying your theme, but I can’t seem to find your gallery options. I can see you have portfolio options, but those include text and information once you click on them. I would really like examples of just galleries of pictures. could you show me a link? I’m an artist and a dog breeder and on those two professions having a gallery or a page with pictures are really the most important part. thankyou.

Hello @patriciawords

When it comes to gallery we actually use the default gallery shortcode for our theme, or you can simply use the Image frame or image carousel shortcode and attach them using the lightbox gallery, you can read all about them here please : https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-shortcode-list/#frames

In my opinion making a portfolio item for each of the dog you have is also a better option because then you get all our portfolio layouts, their hover image rollovers as well as a category filter for each dog too :)

In any case you can also use any 3rd party gallery plugin if you like one, we are working on a gallery shortcode of our own and it will be released soon as well.

We will be delighted for you to join the largest theme community out there.

Thanks

Ammar.

that was such a good idea about a portfolio item for each dog! thankyou!!!!

You are most welcome :)

Can i build classified theme using avada? and can i build a unique search panel in each classification to match with the users needs?

Hello @AymanElgammal.

You should be able to using a 3rd party plugin for sure, However we do not have a classified demo right now that you can use out of the box tho there are many 3rd party plugins out there that you can actually use, i tried doing a quick google search and found these ones.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/classified-ads http://www.wpvirtuoso.com/9-best-free-wordpress-classifieds-plugins/

building a unique search panel like you mentioned is going to take some customization or might be already included in the plugin you choose with.

We will be delighted for you to join the largest theme community out there.

Hi, I Have a problem. I use revolution slider to create a home page with fullscreen slider of pics. In this page, i have deleted footer, sidebar, selected revolution slider (and selected my creation). For information my header has an opacity of 0.5. When I see this page, i have a slider fullscreen with header transparent but it isn’t perfectly fullscreen. I still have a scroll bar (the page is larger of few pixels than the real fullscreen). Can i have a real fixed fullscreen without scroll bar ? Thanks for your response.

Hello @RomainPrad

That might be your main content that is causing the scroll bar to appear, i want you to please go to Fusion Options > Page and set the top and bottom padding to 0px please and see if that helps. If that doesn’t try this code inside Theme Options > Custom CSS Tab

 .home #main{display: none !important;}

However if you still see the scrollbar, please do create a support ticket and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
