Hi guys. If I am using the Agency or Corporate theme, would it be possible to create a page inside that that functions like the product or service theme? I would love to have that one page scrolling functionality as you have in the product or service or app demo inside of my current agency template. Possible?

Hi. I’m having some trouble getting a response for my support ticket. Tahir did respond one time but his suggestion did not work and I responded showing him (via screenshot) that it did not work. Hey jasonkylefrank, I’m sorry for the delay – every time you post a new comment before we have a chance to respond your tickets gets unintentionally bumped to the bottom of the queue since tickets on our end are sorted from oldest to newest in terms of last comment posted. If you have additional comments prior to us responding, please edit them into the initial post 
Could you please add your admin credentials to the ticket so I can log in and take a look why your page would display blank after switching to the default template?

HI – is there a way to drop in subscription forms easily? Right now I write my own shortcodes and pop them into the site blocks as needed, but it would be great to have something like eNews (a plugin that works with Salient) be a drop-in item. Any plans for this? Thanks!

Dear TN,
I know I’ve asked this before, but can’t find the answer back somehow.
When I’m using the ‘normal’ menu bar, there is a shopping cart on the right side of my menu bar.
When I hover over this cart icon, a list of added products appears.
Now, I have two questions;
1) How can I make this list of added products (pop-up, so to say) wider? It looks quite messy the way it comes ‘out-of-the-box’ because long product names are cropped up into separate lines.
2) How can I change the color of the text that shows the product options? I’m having a white background for the ‘pop-up’, as this is the standard color I think, but the letters for the product variations are also white which makes them invisible.

The demos are empty !! How to upload dummy data?? The text file says this—>The dummy data files are now able to be imported from the theme options panel! If you would still like to know their whereabouts, you can find them in salient/nectar/redux-framework/extensions/wbc_importer – Cheers!

I have difficulties in changing text color in text boxes, the option doesnt exist or at least not in a place i can find.
The second challenge is when cloning a column for example, it is higher than the other one so they are not identical. Is there a tutorial for any of the mentioned topics.

Hello, I looove this theme and use it for all my web design projects!
I am looking to find the CSS to remove title and date information from my portfolio grid but only from a specific portfolio category. So for my “writing” posts, I want the title info to show up, but not for my “web design” posts. I’ve tried all kinds of combos, but can only seem to get rid of all or nothing!

So I figured out this snippet removed the meta info from my home page portfolio (which is grid alyout)
body .col.elastic-portfolio-item.web-design .vert-center { display: none!important; }
and then this snippet removed the title from my portfolio page which is masonry style:
body .work-meta .title { display: none!important; }
But unfortunately, the date is still showing up on my portfolio page. If I remove ALL meta, then I lose my “View Larger” “More Detail” buttons on hover. Is there a happy medium to be had?

One additional (and unrelated) question…is it possible to change the timing of the roll in text effect on a page header? Want to slow it down, but don’t see an option for that.

1. There’s no extra work require unless you have theme files inside of the child theme besides a style.css – if for example you’re overriding the header.php file you’d need to update your child theme file to reflect the current version of the parent theme file as well

Loving Salient, but looking for a tad more customization. I want the off canvas menu to be 100px wider. I tried all the usual suspects in CSS and had limited success. I even tried your suggested editing of init.js (replaced all instances of []300px with []400px and []301px with []401px but it’s still showing up at 300px wide. Any tips?

Alas, there is no URL as I’m developing locally at the moment. I’m curious what you meant when you told the other fellow (months back) to edit init.js. I searched the file for “Slide Out Widget Area” like you said, found the section, and replaced all values that matched the current values with my desired values. Nothing. Perhaps this is something for the wish list? Do you have any other suggestion as to how I can go about making the slide out widget area wider?

Hey idej_jedi, reset it in the theme options panel with “reset all button”? If that’s the case the only way to restore it would be with a database backup. If you or your hosting company has one, that would be the only way
The alignment of the Service template is really off when importing it. I am not sure how to line everything up like it is in the demo so it is not overlapping with the header bar.
Also, how do I make the sidebar appear on mobile for the one page scrolling?

I modified padding to make some things fit but it still messes up a little on mobile
You can select the Off Canvas Menu Style in the Header navigation > Off canvas navigation tab of your Salient options panel. I’m not seeing the alignment issues you were referring to, could you possibly provide a screenshot depicting it?

And the sidebar I was referring to on mobile is the indicator showing what section you are on when scrolling through the front page. It shows on the product demo but not service demo

2. In the Header navigation > Off canvas navigation tab select “Slide Out From Right Hover Triggered” for your Off Canvas Menu Style

I was misunderstanding what you were referring to until now – the tooltip is hidden for mobile only with the “tooltip alt” style since it’s a larger element. If you want it to show on all devices you must use one of the other style
