How do you recommend doing if we wanted a products (not eCommerce) page? What elements to use? I want to display some products in a 4 column grid with a picture, the name and product dimensions. When clicked, I should go to a product specific page. I try to use the portfolio but I can’t get it to work because the portfolio links to /portfolio/<something>. Can you help me?

For some reason the woocommerce plugin wasn’t installed. That is why I didn’t have the products in the items list. But now I do and still can’t achieve in an easy way what I want. The products by category ignores subcategories and doesn’t even show the product images. Kinda disppointed. :(

Can I install it in a sub-domain? Then later once the website is done transfer it to the main domain?

Hi, I have been using Porto for a few months now. I am very happy with the theme and its functions. However the theme seems to be a bit unstable when it comes to handle new updates. The problem I have now is that my home page breaks every time I am filtering product categories inorder to set a product as favorite.

It is a Porto related error , when I switch to another theme the homepage looks fine. Despite of all the goodwilling support of smartwave the problem is not resolved. I am curious if any other Porto user has experienced this issue?

Seem to be having an issue here. My customers site updated to wordpress 4.5.3 which broke the Visual Composer, I have seen posts regarding this issue “after It was already updated” Which included mention of an available update to VC to resolve this issue, I see that 4.12 is the latest of VC.. but when I delete the plugin and reinstall it I still get version 4.10. I cannot currently edit any of my pages/posts/blocks.. any ideas for a resolution here? My customers cannot understand why I can simply change a phone number on their site.. not looking good for my Rep.. Thanks

Thanks so far that seems to have resolved that issue but it did present another question, With the new “system status” tab I show a wp memory limit of 40MB and I have the memory limit set for 256 in the php.ini file in my system root.. Woocommerce sees 256MB in the wp memory limit.. but porto only sees 40MB do I need to set the wp_config file to 128 even though I have set it in the php.ini file?

Hi , i’m working on a website with your beautiful theme. Suddenly the home page has become white with a spinning loader. I tried to deactvate all the plugins. But is the same. The only plugin not updated is Ultimate. And am working for almost 3 hours with no results. Can you help me?

1. The theme doesn’t work good in IE as Chrome or FireFox !!!! :( The ( dropdown menu doesn’t work ) + ( Attorneys, Latest News don’t appear)

We performed an update and it wrecked our site. None of the settings saved and it brought back old default settings. Even loading the saved JSON file didn’t help.

We uninstalled theme, uploaded new zip file, then re-enabled and updated plugins. All that went well – but then all our custom work for front end was gone.

Please advise.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please go to Theme Options >> Skin >> Compile default css. and from here you need to compile theme css and plugin css.

In the upcoming 3.0 will there be an area to configure the secondary menus? i.e the sidebar menu colors ? until then is there a quick patch that will give me that feature?

Thank you very much for your love with porto theme, We have not tested this paid plugin yet with our theme and its not possible to guarantee 3rd party plugins for us. But We think that if plugin is coded perfectly it should work with any WooCommerce theme. You can also confirm from the plugin author. This is the best info we can provide at this stage. Thank you for your co-operation.
