Hmm, I believe the most efficient way to handle this would be to use an admin menu manager plugin, such as:

If you are up to date with Avada + WooCommerce the issue can be fixed, simply apply the patches you see, they have to be applied in order. For example, here are the patches for Avada 403 on this page, they do need to be applied in order, so apply the first one you see, then the next and so on: https://theme-fusion.com/support/avada-status/
Also the outdated files message does not affect any feature or functionality, it is just a message and can technically be ignored, but we released a patch to fix it anyhow since many asked about it. It’s all good

May i know why Slider Revolution couldn’t update automatically ?

We include the latest version of Revolution Slider with each release of Avada. If you wish to update the plugin between Avada releases, you will need to purchase a personal license of the Revolution Slider plugin.
We’re currently in the beta testing phase for Avada 5.0, which will include the latest version of Revolution Slider at the day of it’s release.

At the moment, Avada hasn’t been tested with the MYCred plugin by our team. While I’m not aware of any affiliate plugins that have been tested by our team, Avada should be compatible with any well-coded plugin that follows WordPress coding standards and conventions.

Hello! I am trying to upload the Avada theme and I come up with the following message: Avada Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet. I have tried uploading the “installable Wordpress file only” as well as opening up all files and extracting just the theme zip folder to upload. Neither solution is working. Some help please!

Question about licensing. If I’m building a site for myself to sell a single retail product (specialty shoe laces), do I need an extended license? If I am building sites for clients to sell items (ei, ecommerce site that sells collector video games), do the same licensing standards hold?
If the same video game site for the client just listed the games with a price but they could not buy online, would that be a standard license? Seems like it would be simpler to say if you have a way to pay on your site, then you need an extended license (true?).
If a $3000 license is needed to sell anything, why is woocommerce so heavily touted with your theme? Sorry for the long question but I’m not sure what license to buy for clients with this theme…

If you’re building an eCommerce website to sell products, you only need a standard license. The same goes for building a client site that sells their own products (although each site would require it’s own standard license).
An extended license is only required if Avada is part of the item being sold. If you’re only using it to build your site to sell other products, a regular license will suffice.
We are integrated with WooCommerce and it is the recommended plugin to use when building an eCommerce website with Avada.

Hey folks! Avada is by far the best theme I have used, so thank you… I have one question or issue, not really “support” related… I want to choose the header for my website that is just the logo and the Hamburger. It looks great until you try to use it. Does it HAVE to take over the whole page?? Can’t the menu just drop down underneath it or appear from the side?? This whole page take over looks rather weird… Are there choices I’m not finding?? Thanks!!

Hi, your theme looks wonderful. It’s a mazing with the sale and high ratings. But I have a question. Because I don’t understand english very well, what regular licence really means in an example? I will take example with my case, actually I want to buy your theme and another theme because I want to build 2 websites. By regular licence does it means I can use your theme only for one website? The websites are would be all mine. If I can’t use your theme for two website It will just mean I should buy another theme for another website of mine. But If I can use the license for two websites that even better.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.
So in short you can use 1 license of Avada for 1 website only, if you want to host more than 1 website you can simply buy multiple licenses

Thank you very much, you have made it clear for me. I have checked you theme since yesterday and I found too many beautiful things. All what I need is just there. I bought 3 themes here in themeforest but none I still really use for some reasons.
More questions if you don’t mind please? Can I really get all the features as in the demo in one theme or each demo is based on (fixed) template, each template with their different fixed features OR I can customize all the feature like in the demo according which I need (flexible)? Because I see a lot different feaures in the demo.
Furthermore, I need to put contack in topbar menu navigation. Can I use icon before the contact menu when I make custom menu link?

Hey Djong,
Each of the Avada demo’s are just examples of what’s possible with the Avada theme. None of the features you see are specific to that particular demo and it’s definitely possible to mix and match.
When you install Avada, there is a page in your admin panel that will allow you to import a specific demo. This includes all the pages and options for that demo. Each demo comes with it’s own set of theme options (which control the colors, spacing, fonts etc), so it’s recommended that you only install one demo when you start your site.
We are currently hard at work on the next release of Avada which will include an update to our page builder that will allow you to import individual pages from each demo. We’re in the beta testing phase at the moment, but it won’t be long and Avada 5.0 will be available.

Also just to be clear, the individual pages import from Fusion Builder will not give you the theme options from that demo, it cannot because it would change all your other styles as well. but it gives you the layout, which is what is most important.
For full demos (with everything) you just import the full demo on the Avada > Install demos page in WP admin.

This is a WordPress restriction, not something that is coming from Avada. You will need to add the following code to your wp-config.php file:
define( ‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true );
Which will allow you to upload the woff2 file. If you still require assistance with this, please create a ticket using the link that I sent in my last reply. We have a support team who work around the clock on our ticket system and only a couple who review the comments.

I alleready translate the button in the code php page and it took 10sec and free, I know all theses programs and MO, PO things, LoCotranslate ect…. but when you have only a couple of words to change it is faster directly in the PHP code page.

The reason that is not recommended is because those changes will be lost the next time you update Avada. WordPress will replace your edited files with new, updates copies during the update.
It’s strongly recommended that you use a translation file instead so avoid losing your changes. Please refer to the documentation that Ammar linked you to above as it contains all the steps required to get the translations working correctly.

Hello, I can assure you even more that I did not touch the code or install other plugins. The modules broke apart by themselves. I will have to switch to another template if I don’t get these issues fixed by your team. I need to have confidence in this product. Otherwise, there is no point to invest time and effort further. The only way to resolve this is for us to be able to take a look at your site and see what is going on.
Modules breaking apart by themselves is not possible, something had to happen, either a plugin update, server/hosting change, hacked site, etc. It’s just not possible for a site to break without anything happening because it is not a mechanical product like a car, it is software so something had to change. This is the point we are making.
And we will gladly look at it in detail and certainly resolve any issues you have, but we have to be able to look at it.
Nobody else has reported these issues and as you can see on our own demos they work fine. So there has to be some factor that is involved, and it is only possible for us to tell by looking at it.
Trust me when I say that is this was a global issue with Avada, you’d see hundreds of comments within the last few pages of the exact same reports.

Hello, Even after I confirmed to you that your Avada Wordpress theme display and functionality broke for me due to clear bugs in the code and despite your knowledge of my support license expiry; Avada WordPress theme team kept pushing me to renew the support license without even bothering to look at the site issue caused by Avada WordPress bugs. That is not the kind of response a customer would get from a WordPress plugin team that cares about its clients and their businesses. Very disappointing…

I clearly communicated I do not intend to renew the Avada WordPress Support license if the Avada WordPress Support team is not willing to help fixing bugs caused by their own code. I hope my post does not get deleted this time. Very disappointed with the way the Avada WordPress support team has handled this issue. They did not even bother to look at the website where the theme is having issues.

I have had a very close look into this and I can confirm that what you are saying is completely unfounded. Allow me to place some perspective and clarification here, so please carefully read through the following:
- Our support system shows that you have only created two support tickets back in December 2015 -> http://d.pr/i/PujK
- We do not make the support rules or have any influence over said support rules. Paid support was introduced by Envato in September 2015, something we as authors had no control over whatsoever.
- You have since tried to gain hands on support via the public Themeforest comments section and as much as we would love to assist you, we simply are not allowed to provide support in the comments section. We do not make the rules
- Regardless, within the comments section, in we advised that you check by disabling all 3rd party plugins. This is a step required because we can conclusively confirm that Avada is not bugged, if it was we would have tens of thousands of customers facing the same issue as yourself.
- You did not try and eliminate 3rd party plugin conflicts from the equation and merely stated [SIC] “Yes, I am using version 4.0.3 and none of the 3rd party plugins should be causing any conflicts.” – why not try that step?
- I can 100% confirm that your installation does in fact have a 3rd party plugin JS error, visible in the console when inspecting your homepage -> http://d.pr/i/11Yof – This JS error is in reference to the ‘Contact Form 7’ plugin and the ‘Autoptimize Cache’ plugin. Have they been updated, it appears not.
- Furthermore, regarding Avada bug fixing inter alia, as of Avada 4.0 we had actually launched a patcher tool that is part of the Avada Dashboard and at a click of a button patch fixes any issue our team has identified. We release patches for any potential or existing issues within hours, eliminating repeated updates of the theme and guaranteeing installation stability.

It is not possible doing so using the Image carousel shortcode, however you can create something similar using the Revolution Slider carousel layout and putting our theme flipbox shortcode in it, We have never personally tried it but you can check this out

I have a problem when viewing the contact us page on an iphone device.(problem only on iphone). On the contact us page which can be found below the text links for the phone number are always black (on all other devices they are white). I want them to be white otherwise it’s difficult to see them.

Hi i had updated my avada to 4.0 as well as my wordpress version to 4.5. My website contains both chinese and english text. I am now having issues with the chinese excerpt for the blog section. It is not truncating text. Only does for the english version. For the blog, last time i had used the fix suggested on https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-fix-chinese-language-excerpts-issue/. What is the new fix for this as I cant find the suggestion text to replace in functions.php

Hi there, I am trying to create a 100% grid that maintains the dimensions of the photos I add without cropping them. Essentially what I want is a grid like the one on this page: http://avada.theme-fusion.com/grid-100-2/. However, I am having trouble finding the option to make it so. I can make the images into a grid format but then re in defined columns, not as the link above portrays them. Can someone tell me how to do this and have the images open in a lightbox when clicked? The page that you have linked me to as a reference is using the portfolio shortcode/page template. To get the images to display in full instead of a cropped thumbnail, you will need to select ‘Auto’ as the image size from either the shortcode options or the page options.
