Hi there! We updated to the most recent theme version 7.5.02. Everything looks like it’s working fine (I always make sure to thoroughly check all pages after updates), but our top left logo is now getting cut off on the bottom on mobile. It loads fine on desktop though.
We haven’t changed anything on the site in several weeks and the logo was loading perfectly on mobile before this update. Can you let us know what changed with the theme and how we can get this back to normal?
(I will mention that we did not set the mobile logo height previously, so that area is blank. However, as said earlier, it had been loading perfectly fine without that setting prior to this update. If we do need to set that height now, how do we figure out what setting it needs? I did try setting a height before posting this but nothing seemed to change.)

Hey there! That worked although the code needed some minor adjustment. You left out a { It’s:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1000px) and (min-width: 1px) {
#header-outer.transparent header#top #logo .starting-logo {
top: 0px!important;
}

However, by doing that it’s now shifting the logo up a little on mobile, so it’s not perfectly even with the menu button anymore. Will this be fixed in the next update so that I can then delete this code?
Also, when it switches from white to black versions on mobile (on different backgrounds) it doesn’t do so smoothly like it had been. It’s now getting squished on the transition and then sort of re-appearing properly when fully in the new background.
First of all, I wanted to personally congratulate you on this theme. It is so well done, it’s big, bold & clean and your support responses in this comments forum is so impeccable there’s barely any need for a support platform! i’ve bought more than 20 templates here at envato over time and NO theme comes close to yours!!! Congratulations!!!
So now my question. I’ve succesfully hidden some rows (for mobile optimization purposes) using the following code:
@media only screen and (min-width:640px) { .desktop-hidden { display: none!important;
} }
So when I’m in the desktop version of the site everything is fine except the fact that the dot navigation is still tracking the row I hid so when you’re scrolling down and it gets to that row it jumps to the top of the wordpress page without any notice.
Can this dot be removed or hid from this navigation via custom css? Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks! that does hide it but the functionality issue is still there where once it reaches the hidden row while scrolling down it jumps back to the top row. Let me know how to proceed.
As of now I’m afraid this would require further custom development, as the row would need to be excluded in the init of the fullscreen script to avoid such issues

i tested directly original theme link your demo websites pls chek you will see what is errors. it affects google seo.
Is there a styling done for the my account page? Obviously the my account page is part of woocommerce which is supported, we can’t have one of the most important pages looking out of sync with the rest of the theme. Right now mine looks like a bullet list on the left with plain text on the right, this can’t be right? I’ve tried to look for other comments on this but couldn’t find anything.

Is it possible to get the Nectar Slider to show the full height and width of an image? The slider is constantly covering about 30 pixels at the top and approximately 50 at the bottom. I can’t cleanly show all my content.
For example, if I set my slider for 685 px height, about 80 of that gets covered up. So, realistically, it is only displaying about 605 pix OF the 685 height.

You can either turn off your header resize on scroll effect or use this css in the custom css box of the Salient options panel to remove the top space getting cut off:
.parallax_slider_outer.first-section {
margin-top: 0!important;
}
You also need to turn on the flexible height option

Dear team,
1) I need to have this feature in my Nectar slides that whenever someone clicks the slide on desktop or cell phone it initiates a phone call. I checked under slide edit but could not make it happen.
2) Isn’t there an automatic detection of phone number in the theme?
3) Also for example if in a button on the slide in Nectar Slider it says “click here to call xxx-xxx-xxxx” that also initiate a phone call on both desktop and cell phone.

Instead of using a nectar slider button input, you’d need to manually code the link in the caption field with this:

You can choose the full slide link option in the slide edit screen for the link type – however then you would need to edit the functions.php file at this section:

Video background not working with MS Edge browser. I looked at other comments to look for a solution. The demo at http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-agency/ also doesnt show the video background on Edge. I ran through everything I could to reset the browser to default settings but it doesn’t seem to work. MS supposedly supports WebM with VP9 encoding but they must have done something to mess with it…

Hello, I am currently updating the theme to the latest version. When I do this I lose all of the previous settings. Not the custom css settings but all of the salient theme settings. I also lose everything that was on my pages. All of the page layouts that I had are gone.
I updated Visual Composer which helped a little bit but now everything is super jumbled

Hi guys,
Just a quick that i’ve noticed that I hope there is a fix for!
It seems to work on your demos so I’m sure it will be no problem. When minimizing the window and then maximising… the background of the rows doesn’t quite respond to the the full width of the browser.
As an example a solid colour will not readjust itself full width and end being cut to the size of the previous window size.

What does “MissingKeyMapError” mean? I have tried to use the Contact Template of the Theme and I have tried to include a map, using the builder. No map appears, only the error. Any help is appreciated.

If you’re on a current version of Salient you can add your API key into the options panel in the general settings > css/script related tab

I use 7.0.9 and I can not see where to paste that api code.
The only version that includes it is the current (7.5+)
OK, I updated and the map was showing up. I tried FF first, then I noticed that on page refresh, the map is not visible anymore. So I tried Chrome and the map does not show up at all. How can this become so complicated? Google maps used to be a nobrainer. Any idea?
When supplying a correct API key there’s no such known issue. In regards to it becoming more complicated – unfortunately the fact that an API key is now needed is not Salient specific, you can’t use a Google map anywhere without an API now. Please share your URL in regards so I can see what’s causing your issue

New fullscreen page rows are broken on my site. I tried downloading demo content and it was still broken, so I don’t know any options left. The content isn’t centered in the middle and the button is weirdly shaped in the first row. Second rowand on is just blank. Url: http://fit-menu.com/home-2/
Hey vincentpontbriand, are you sure you did a clean update by deleting the old theme prior to uploading the current version? It looks like you’re using a CDN, make sure the clear the cache as well as it appears some of your files are not fully up to date

I have a question regarding some of the new demos. How do you get images to animate independently on top of one another? For example the “salient-app” demo shows an app screen offset but on top of another app screen.
