Looks like you added server directives in the wrong way in your website. Plus you talk about multiple sites down, so looks like you added a piece of code in the wrong place of many websites without checking what was causing this customization.
I’m sorry but we have very good response times compared to most of other theme authors and you have a server issue caused by wrong code customizations, to bypass limits of a poor hosting provider.
All this has nothing to do with the quality of the theme. We want to help you fixing all your sites, so hopefully you’ll change the review about your product. Thanks!
Good morning. Let me start by saying that I work for iHeart Media in technical support for their broadcast software so I understand the various issues related to assisting broadcast clients. Broadcast clients work 24 hours. I also own my own entertainment company and part of our business is consulting (reselling) for internet radio stations. The broadcast community relies heavily on their stations and web sites being up and running 24 hours a day. I selected your themes after reviewing many others because your theme is very well designed for the broadcast industry. Our plan last night was to implement your theme on our network and a couple of our stations so today we could demonstrate it and convince our other clients (and future clients) to incorporate this theme into their sites as well. After following (as the normal user would) your instructions. We also contacted NetworkSolutions.com our hosting service provider for assistance. They are a major provider here in the USA. They told us that we did in fact have the code in properly. Perhaps your instructions should state where to place the code as many installers of your theme will not be code-writers. I am willing to retract any comments made, or ratings if you can get this theme to work. I notice that you have begun to process the refund. If we can get it to work you can cancel the refund. I really appreciate you getting back to me, and understand what are tight work schedule, but we can’t be responsible for that as after doing this work for almost 20 years this never led to good results. Personally I’ve been working for very big companies (which i’m obfuscating for obvious reasons) like Ferra, Voda* and many others, and I know of it works.
The fact is, despite what many companies writes to sell more, that making a site using wordpress, unless you don’t have already every tiny detail as you need (including good server) out of the box, does actually require some tech knowledge. As when you buy a car you need a driving license, making a site requires some other knowledge to solve the tiny issues that may happen.
As you can see from our rating and comments, we do really concern for the happyness of our customers, and often push much farther than the support territory just to achieve one small good rating. When we had bad comments for theme’s issues, we fixed them and updated the product.
That said, we are a small family company, and a 1 star rating can really take the bread off our table (metaphorically speaking).
An aggressive approach is never a good choice when you wish someone to help you, and negative comment / rating for a product sounds like an attempt to threat a company.
That’s not a good approach, we literally work our a* of 18 hours a day to create and maintain the products and offer support.
As a 1star rating for reasons that doesn’t depend on the product itself was uselessly harming the sales, letting customers believe that there was something bad with the theme, and you asked a refund, I proceeded to allow it, so the rating will be removed.
As you can see, we never removed other bad ratings, as are part of a general product evaluation from customers, but after all our hard work is not cool to have our effort destabilised for the wrong reasons.
You are free (if you want) to buy the product again and I’ll be happy help you with your configuration in case of any problem, but please consider my words and the fact that all what we do is in the best will and with a true desire to help our customers.
Otherwise, in the market you can find almost other 400 music themes and maybe someone else can better fit your needs. I’m not saying this in a bad way, but just to let you know that I don’t want to push anybody to use our products if they don’t want to.
That said, the support service works in office time mon-fri and often also saturday or sunday, but not over night. About phone contact, I’m sorry but offering phone support would make impossible to respond to over 100 requests a day as we do now.

I am also willing to fix the rating or give you a 5 star rating and explain why I initially gave the product a 1 star rating and with your assistance we were able to resolve the issue. I understand we both have small businesses and what effect bad experiences can play into sales.
Like you I want my customers to be happy with the product and level of support they receive.
and if I may offer one product enhancement (if it does not exist in your product) the ability to have music submitted to the station via ftp. This is one of the most requested features my clients ask for as many of them would like to play music from independent artist but have no way to implement the ftp process (and combine it with a ecommerce solution).

About the FTP upload of music, this is something really unrelated with the theme, but probably there are plugins which may help in the job. I can make a research but I’d need some more details for the functionality you want to achieve, as a single plugin may not be enough, you probably need to handle users, subscriptions and user roles. Hello! I see you have set now the widgets in the footer, was that what you meant?
i mean the style of the footer does not match that of the demo. The widget titles are not the same format.
Also, the social share buttons in the header. When viewed on mobile the icons are still full size and when you click the share icon all the icons open up full size and obscure the logo in the header.
I see, but the widget titles are same format, you are simply choosing as main color a black color, so of course you don’t see the blue background of the demo. The main accent color should be some visible color like blue, red or something else… Plus you edited via CSS the main black background and you see it different. The theme works good but the options you set makes it different… For the usability, if you choose those colors, is impossible to see buttons and links standing out as they normally should…
For the header icons, to fit in the screen when you open them the logo gets temporary hidden to leave them space, I don’t really get what’s wrong with them

Well, I never really managed to get this theme’s music player to work properly on PC/Mac and mobile devices in 2015. Yesterday I thought: OK, Now is the time to get it right – and updated WP to 4.6.1 (from 4.5) and the Vice theme and all plugins to the August 2016 version. Then I did a database reset using the “Reset Database” plugin to start from scratch.
Everythin looked fine until I found out, I can’t add MP3 tracks to releases anymore 
Something must have changed the way the WP file chooser transfers the object to the page/theme. Only when I do a fresh upload and “Insert into post”, the MP3-Demo section icon shows a green checkmark instead of the blue ”+”. But even then: After hitting Publish, no MP3-Demo actually has been added.
I have tried a variety of browsers, a collection of different MP3 – it’s all the same.
Any ideas?! Suggestions? I am really starting to regret having bought this theme….
Btw. I know “File URL” has to be selected. At least, I have found a workaround: I have to filter date and media type and THEN it works… Maybe you could still have a look into this. It’s awkward…
Pre sale question.. We have an online station called Radio Mixticius, that works with Radio.co Streaming service, our web station is at mixticius.net, our player is on a html, and we put it on an iframe.. I really love your non stop player, and i would love it for my website, but i really need that i can use my streaming service on it.. Is it possible? In other words, is this theme player compatible with Radio.co streaming service? Thanks in advance.
radio.co is compatible with vice, no problem!

Well, you can directly implement the mp3 stream URL in the settings of the theme, and it will work like in the demo. If you want to delete the content of the actual theme’s player and embed your own html code to use the radio.co player, we can help you with the customization of the html file. Is just a small change in this case. Both ways it works

hello I purchase this theme and for some reason the Radio streaming does not work properly, some device can here the radio station, some others can not. like on my macbook i listen the radio on the browser. but on my windows computer no sound. on iphone and other device no sound. what do i need to fix this please

If the link is correct, opining it in Chrome will result in a player page with the music (working).
Hello! Your provided page doesn’t leat to the mp3 stream, I tried also to download all the files for the different player but none of them links to a direct mp3 stream. Is better that you get in touch with your streaming provider and ask precisely for “What is your mp3 direct stream url”.

Hi! Slider is with Bundle license, Just ignore their messages, we provide updates almost once a month or twice sometimes. They often do small updates to invite people with bundle licenses to purchase a personal one, but is not necessary. Official envato explanation of bundle licenses is here:

Hello! There is no price possibility for single tracks, we have that feature only on the Sonik theme. About woocommerce, it works in that way: you need to create a product for an individual track, then make bundles for the albums. You can then copy the link of the single items and put it in the purchase link of the track.
You can also copy the link of the “add to cart” button and put that in the single track buy link.

Thanks, I like the Sonic site a lot, but no ajax loading ( i understand why you did it) rules out for me.
Yes we spent a lot of time making the ajax loading for Sonik, all the js functions are made in a way they can be reinitialized, then there are ajax containers and so, but after we were keeping on receiving complaints from people using js plugins that weren’t working with ajax, for Slam and Vice, so we had to take another route. Is a shame cos a proper music website should have that option, but it looks like the average customer doesn’t have the techy skills to understand how to use such a powerful tool. If you wanna spend some time on it, is still something not too hard to integrate as the js is already been created with this in mind.

Hello. I have a couple of questions. On the release page. Under where the soundcloud ink is instaled, it says “Add to playlist.” Is there anyway I can remove that? Also, I am uploading the mp3 demo also (which I assume is the file for the on site player?) it does not load. Even when I manually click show and say insert to post. The audio shows up in the player, though no music plays. What am I doing wrong?
Hello! When you choose the mp3 or upload a new one, pay attention to a detail of the Media Uploaded popup. On the bottom part, just before the Insert button, you have some grey buttons. You need to choose File URL, because otherwise it may be linking to the attachment page, which is not what we want. As good as this theme is, it lacks so many features and most importantly, the support for various third-party plugins such as Visual composer. The only plugins it [tries] to work with are the ones from Wordpress repository. Any other ones i have [managed] to install resulted in an error. In which case I will have to re-upload the theme files through FTP every now and then. That’s really crazy. It extremely slows down the workflow for me. I think you guys need to get this theme an update pass the 1.5.9. Thanks for the hard works.
Hello and thanks for the suggestions. About visual composer: 1) to create column layouts and buttons, we included the Bootstrap shortcode plugin. I know is a minimal integration, but it works fine with Ajax loading. 2) Visual composer works, but is not compatible with ajax page load. You can use it and disable ajax from the Customizer. You have no clue how many months we spent to make them work together, and a very long discussion with the visual composer crew to fix this incompatibility with ajax, which nowadays is a standard, ended into a complete noncurance from their behalf.
We reverse-engineered the visual composer in deep to solve the problem ourselves, but the code is so tricky and old-concept that it resulted impossible to do.
We also made a research if there was any other theme in the web using ajax and visual composer and only one turned out doing it. Then we purchased and analized it. It results that the theme was disabling 80% of the visual composer features to make it work with ajax.
So the conclusion is that is not possible to do it. In our new theme sonik, in fact, we didn’t use ajax just to allow the people create pages with the composer.
With vice, this is still an option.
With other plugins we never had issues, but most probably if you disable ajax also the most tricky ones will work.

Hello, I see the music working fine. Please remember, when adding the MP3 sample to each track, to select link to “File URL” and not “Media page” in the media uploader modal window.

hello! I’m sorry but the link you posted has really nothing in common with our themes, and it also looks very old and is not responsive at all. Whatever theme you’ll choose, I’d recommend to have a look around to see which are the best designs and have always an eye for the mobile compatibility.
