The hamburger icon is created from activating the off canvas menu in the Salient options panel > header navigation > off canvas menu and the social icons are added in the Salient options panel > header navigation > layout related http://imgur.com/a/y5UzL

Anyone know how to solve the slow page load due to the portfolio images? I have 600*400 sized images, incredible optimised between 18and50kb in size, but still see here: http://prntscr.com/cbnpu3 they’re still taking near 2 SECONDS! To load, and appears to be the last thing blocking me from having a fast website.

do you not support custom post type anymore with version 7.5? After updating to your latest version, I see the same nectar slider everywhere, regardless of what is in the shortcode. I remember the same behavior quite some time ago, after an update but I do not remember the fix anymore. Can you help me please?

When using Full Screen Rows, the default footer is not working how it should.
I’ve set the page footer to “Default footer”, but his is how it looks:
This is how it’s supposed to look like:
As you can see, there’s something wrong with the background color and the bottom bar with the copyright and social links.
I’ve tried setting the Overall BG Color in the settings for Full Screen Rows, but that didn’t help.
Any ideas?
Hey ploughansen, using the default footer in the page full screen setup currently overrides the BG color – the fix is coming in the next release If you would like it earlier please open a ticket in regards and I can provide it themenectar.ticksy.com/

Salient 7.5 added the option to add them to the main header nav when the secondary nav isn’t in use. Are you using that version of the theme or higher?

You can get the old mobile menu styling by turning off the mobile sticky header option in the Salient options panel > header navigation tab

Hey, sorry, that doesn’t seem to do it. I’ll dig around in the code and see if I can solve it. We’re using a child theme.
We’re trying to turn the old menu on because the slide out doesn’t allow the user to visit the page if that page has children.
Example: Home > About > Our Team. When using the slide-out the user can only visit ‘Our Team’ and not ‘About’.

Is it possible to have a centred logo with a left and a right menu on either side of the logo?
For some reason, I thought it was an option, but the three menu choices don’t seem to achieve this. Its just the logo on top and menu below.

Salient has its own image element with different options than VCs raw image element – i’ve noted to add it in though. You can use an external source in an image gallery element though, or just use the standard WP add media button in a text block

the current version of Salient (7.5+) now has a field in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab for adding in your API key. Once you provide an API key for google maps it will load.

In the flipbox, First problem is that I only have two options dark and light for the front box for the back box its flexible. Second problem is that in the front box when I choose either dark or light text they are both white!! can anyone help

1. There is only a light and dark option available as of now – however the back side offers the full WP editor which contains a color picker for text.
2. Do you have the Visual Composer row that’s holding the flip box set to light? If so that will override your flip box settings..I could provide css to change that though. Please share the URL of the page where you’re having the issue
3. There’s no known issues of the page builder not saving BG colors, since you’ve already been creating your site and successfully saving colors, did it just start happening out of nowhere? Please mention in your open ticket which page/row is having the issue so I can take a look

1 & 2- I like the theme, it has some good functionality, but Honestly every nice function that I want to use, it appears to be limited or not functioning! the flip box is a great function which I cannot use… I dont use Css or very limited .. Im not a programmer and I dont want to use custom code.
Now After I edited the row text color, the flip box text color worked… You know that this is 2016 right not 1990 ! Having just two colors is simply not convenient (nothing personal here its business and you got to know that this is not cool)
3-At the moment this happened to me multiple times that I try to edit row background and i click save then nothing happens… the solution is to usually log out and start again.
4- On the full screen rows function, do you have a page transition effect!
Another thing, I have no Idea what is the problem.. But sometimes I enter the pages and the filters I made are gone, I try again and then they are back! No changes done from my side… Can you please explain this phenomenon !!! It happens often.
