Hey! I’ve got two problems with the menu on mobile devices. On the home page is the menu good, but inside a blog post menu is too far down. How do I fix this? And most importantly, on an iPhone, the menu alternatives is disappearing after having the menu expanded. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH!

By using visual composer you could indeed place the blog element under any other content – make sure you have your front page set to whatever page you’ve created with the blog element / other elements in https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/8266

Yes Ensure that you have the meta overlaid masonry style selected in your Salient options panel > blog tab and then when you’re adding your blog element in visual composer choose the “Masonry blog no sidebar” layout

Note that the large logo image on the first link is cut off at the top by the overlapping navigation bar. And the header text on the second link comes up very close to the top navigation. The header text should be vertically centered with space above and below it, but the navigation overlaps the top of the header row, cutting it short. Is there a way to force the page content to begin after the navigation header is displayed? At least on mobile,
I don’t have sticky nav enabled for mobile, so I don’t see the reason why the nav header overlaps the page content. (The nav is sticky and resizes on desktops—I really just want to force the header not to overlap the page content on mobile, specifically.)

I’m noticing a new issue with item in this VC row not being centered properly. Not sure if this started after update to salient 7.5.02 or WP 4.6.

It should be centered. I have it contained in a simple VC row that is configured for text centered and padding top & bottom to 320px. When I look at generated HTML source, it is adding some odd settings, IE: margin-left: -334px; padding: 320px 334px;
(the left/right padding & margin seem to vary based on browser width)
The net result is the logo is off-center by the left/right padding amount.
Is this a new bug?

Im trying to change the main logo but Im always stuck with the default Salient logo when loading a page on desktop.
I have deactivated my cache plugins, disabled varnish from my server, I am not using cloudflare or anything like that.

The logo appears fine when i scroll down the desktop site and on mobile tho.
I can see that I have a jQuery error here: http://d.pr/i/OgpC I am not using third party plugins except the ones provided by Salient.

Even with the most recent salient update “font-awesome” is still out of date, which is unfortunate since I need some of their newer icons, and I have found it impossible to update the css and font files within salient (which for some reason seem to ask for a specific, outdated version) without severing the connection to font-awesome completely.

The latest update to CF7 changed the default starter form to wrap the elements in labels. To fix this for now make sure the inputs are not wrapped. Here’s how it should look: http://imgur.com/a/q2JKk

Hello. On my website http://vergedesign.co.uk many times on first load, the website just appears blank. It stays at the colour of the pre animation background. (the animation that grows out from the middle and exposes the text)... Is there a fix for this in the pipeline?

Hey there! That worked although the code needed some minor adjustment. You left out a { It’s:

However, by doing that it’s now shifting the logo up a little on mobile, so it’s not perfectly even with the menu button anymore. Will this be fixed in the next update so that I can then delete this code?
Also, when it switches from white to black versions on mobile (on different backgrounds) it doesn’t do so smoothly like it had been. It’s now getting squished on the transition and then sort of re-appearing properly when fully in the new background.
Last, I also noticed another problem with the theme update. The H1 heading used to adjust itself nicely for mobile screens. However, now medium-length titles we have that were fitting perfectly on mobile are suddenly too wide and going off-screen since they don’t seem to be responding the same way that they had been for mobile.

Greetings! I’m Loving the theme so far with only one issue at this time. In the dashboard under Salient, none of the changes I’m making to the theme including my logo, etc. are coming true on the actual site. Is there a reason why this would happen. I’m on the child theme that was downloaded as apart of the package and all.

is there a way to center the secondary nav? The only way I can see is to float it right then move it left. Doesn’t work well responsibly. Not sure it was ever made to do what I am thinking (use as a top banner), but figured I would ask.
