Hi, I have installed all the plugins and have just tried editing one of the pages on the restaurant demo. But when I use the Visual Composer on the backend in classic mode all the page content disappears. How can I edit the demo content using Visual Composer? Thanks.

Our demos are built with and for Cornerstone which is our own Page Builder, if you have not tried it yet, I would recommend giving it a try as we’ve developed it to work and utilize all the features X in the best way possible.
Hi, I wished I’d have known. I use VC on all my sites and don’t really want to learn another page builder. I like VC and wish to continue using it. Is there a way for me to copy the some of the code across via text? Thanks.
I’m sorry, there isn’t. While both Cornerstone and VC output shortcodes, they are not directly compatible. The layout (section/row/column) shortcodes are setup quite differently.
We do encourage that you give Cornerstone a try. It’s pretty straightforward, and will enable you to get started right away with the demo content. It’s still possible to use VC, but you would just need to build the pages from scratch.
Hello, I am unable to re-validate my X license. I have revoked the license, then I removed the URL from my Themeco profile, and then re-added my site, and it still will not validate the install. I am not looking for support per se, I am just trying to validate the theme I initially paid for.

I am looking for a theme very EASY to be customized to be used to create a website to RENT RC MODELS (similar to rent cars). I already have bought the various woocomerce plugins. But my question is: is it possible with this theme to create a renting website just using the visual composer? For example adding the box to rent, or the chart page and so on. Thanks Fabio

Sure, it’s possible with VC, or our own page builder Cornerstone. You could use either builder to design the site. Then your WooCommerce system can take it from there, managing the checkout and order processing.

Hi I would like to create a WordPress website with multiple pages each featuring a different podcast. Some of those podcasts will be from the same source but in different categories, some podcasts will be from other sources altogether: AudioBoom, LibSyn, etc… I would like those podcast posts to be arranged in perfect grid formation with a number of recently added posts appearing on the front page. I suppose the nearest website with the kind of layouts I’d like to create is Netflix. I am pretty much a beginner at all of this but I’m a fast learner and I get the feeling X Theme is the one for me. Can you confirm that my required layouts will be achievable with X Theme? Thanks for writing in. While anything is possible with the right customizations, the best way to see what is possible out of the box in X would be to check out our features, and demos.
There is also additional functionality available in X through our optional Extensions: that are included for free with each verified purchase
Of those Extensions, Essential Grid, or The Grid might prove valuable to you, as they can be used to arrange a grid of content for you.
Anything beyond those features and functionality would need to be achieved through a combination of custom development and/or 3rd party plugins. While we are not able to provide support or give estimates on functionality outside our own features, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have on features in the theme.
I see I need to add my license key to unlock the ‘Extensions’ – however i’m building out the theme on a staging site (which is situated on a staging URL, not the live URL), will I need to purchase two licenses? Surely not? Thanks.

As outlined in the last reply you can reassign the validation as often as needed there is no limit and you can have live site and staging environment validated at the same time.

You’ll need to validate your license in your Themeco account, you’ll then be able to enter your license code within your wp-admin > X Addons and unlock all extensions including Visual Composer.

You can unvalidate / reassign the license as often as needed in the member area so there is nothing that should hold you back validating your staging server. Additionally we enable you to validate your dev/staging environment in addition to the main site if required.

Yes, we support all of our over two dozen Extensions plus provide updates as they are made available from the respective developers. With regards to UberMenu, we have an exclusive partnership with them so that X users are able to receive a license of UberMenu (as well as all of our other Extensions with each license purchase).

I’m looking for a theme to use as my portfolio. I’m using Avada right now, but I’m not really happy with it. All I want is to make a front (home) page that will display my work in a grid of squares. I can’t seem to achieve this with my current theme so I’m looking for a theme that can do this. Nothing fancy – no sliders, dancing teddy bears, or what have you – just a simple grid/square layout that shows images of each of my work.

There are many different options for this using X. You could make a custom page, and add images for each project. This is a bit more work, but you can create a very tailored design. You could also enable either Essential Grid or The Grid, both are included as part of our Extensions. By default these have more of the “fancy” effects, but they can be made to operate minimally.

Site Icon The Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site. Icons must be square, and at least 512 pixels wide and tall.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to accomplish. There isn’t a need to upgrade to the Extended licenses. Our focus on demos is more Expanded ones at the moment. Take a look at Agency, which uses Ethos. We don’t have an ETA for more standard Ethos demos. When importing a Standard demo like Ethos 1, it provides you with placeholder content, so you’ll need to replace that with your own content and images. If you need more in-depth assistance, feel free to open a new thread in our support forums and one of our developers can advise further.
Can the same license be applied to subdomains?...that is, differnet installs but all under the very same donain pretending to be one site. The purpose of which was/is to avoid plugin conflicts. .thx

You can only validate one installation per license as that’s what the license is enabling you to.
But if done as/through a multi-site setup then all should be fine, no?
Yes, you could use multisite for this, and simply validate the primary site. You will however need to manually update the theme. The theme can’t run at a network level, so automatic updates can’t be served.

Hello, I purchased the regular license… so that I could get the framework for this template: http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/
However, when the template was installed, it is missing the upper splash area (where the video is) and it is missing the four colored banners that slide up from the bottom (Integrity-red, Renew-steel/blue, Icon-green, Ethos-brown/charcoal).
The whole reason I purchased this template, was because I liked the header/splash area with those four color slide up things.
How can I get this theme installed? I do NOT need the images whatsoever, all I want is the wireframe template, which is what I thought I was paying for. It just doesn’t make sense to me that the exact theme I purchased, doesn’t install as advertised. Please advise… Thank you.

Thank you. But how do I install the video background splash? I don’t want the surfing video, I just want the template set up that way so that I can input my own video. I just wish your themes installed exactly the way you show them. I am asking myself “why do they display/advertise a theme that you cannot install?” Wouldn’t that make sense? Otherwise it seems like a bait and switch. Kinda like saying: “Here, buy this awesome template, but we’ll hide the fact that it can’t be installed the way we display it.” Just seems disingenuous.
Please go through that tutorial as it explains how to do exactly what you are asking. It does not walk you through how to setup our video, it shows you how to utilize that feature.

You can add header images to any page or post, either with the featured image functionality, or with the image element in Cornerstone.
You can disable page titles per page, but breadcrumbs are global, i.e, either on or off, with no per page control. Though that’s a great idea and we’ve added it as a feature request.

Convertplug is fully functional with X theme?
I only see Modal Popup and Info Bar, and it is supposed to also have fullscreen, infobar bottom, slide right, slide left, sticky right, sticky left.

If so, absolutely not those are simply over two dozen additional tools we make available to customers with each X license purchase. Hi. I just purchased this theme because of the amazing ratings but I am very confused with the themes and customization. I feel as though I made a mistake in making my purchase. I downloaded the integrity 1 demo (after following several tutorials) and my website looks nothing like the demo. I want my navbar to look exactly like the demo – white, logo on the left, menu aligned to the right, all on one line and no separators. Instead I have 2 lines-logo on top and menu underneath, the navbar is black and aligned to the left and each menu item has a separator (line). Please help me make it look like the demo. Thanks!

Our Standard and Expanded demos function differently as explained on our demo page. The Standard Demos essentially just install the page with holder images in place of the content you see on the demo. Our Expanded Demos recreate the exact site including all pages, images, content, and all. Well I did what you said and added the Church Expanded Demo because it closely resembles the Integrity 1 Demo and still the menu looks nothing like the demo. So I do not understand why this is do difficult.
If you install the Church Expanded Demo it will look 100% the same as the demo so if something is wrong with your particular install a member of our development team would be happy to take a look in our forum. This thread explains how to post/use the forum.
