Not seeing how to use Parallax.

When I visit the “Parallax” page on my install as an example there are no parallax options. Can see this page here: http://lovemychakras.com/parallax-sections/​

​I don’t see the Parallax as a Visual Composer option. The documentation has nothing on using the Parallax.

How can I make this happen?

Hi, if I used gif in featured portfolio image. Will it appear correctly like gif or static jpg image?

You will have the gif image in the overview but I am not sure that the isotope layout will work with the proper image sizes -http://prnt.sc/cepwsg . We are always honest with our potential customers :)

My client bought this theme but the backend (VC) is very very slow, it takes 4 minutes to change something, is a really long time to edit something, and when the edit is over, I have to wait other 4 minutes to edit another thing and is very irritating, I can’t wait that long to edit the columns, texts, images, anything…

I am not able to confirm such an issue at my end and, mainly, none of our customers has ever mentioned something similar. Please double check that you are full updated (theme and required plugins) and deactivate any 3rd party plugins you may use. I have a problem that suddenly appeared when I migrated the site to a live domain, for some reason the ‘Feature_Element’ in the ‘Feature_Section’ of all my pages has dissapeared, I have tried to input again but nothing saves??? I had not realised that your support had expired. That is likely the reason that you have presented the same questions in the public comments area. Reason we ask our clients to use our support forum has not to do with the support expiration – just with our policy. There are several reasons why we cannot provide support in this area. We cannot use screenshots and provide shortcodes easily, this is not a safe environment in case there is a need for provision of credentials, and most importantly, our support team is located in our support forum and not in this area. Best I can do for your questions is to give you a brief guidance:

Header Logo and Menu Issue: Please have a look at the Responsive Header Options you have available through Theme options and play around with the relevant settings.

Price Display: This looks like a Woo Customisation. Our support team could – if it was something easy – or could not offer some help for this matter. I cannot be sure since we do not offer free-lancing services and do not know if this is a simple customisation or not.

Product category listing: Please make sure that you are using the correct VC woo element and have set the relevant category to be shown.

I have to add that our support team is responsible for matters that have to do strictly with our Theme.

I love this theme (and Osmosis too !), so I am looking forward to buy this theme for my new website :grin: ! Though, I was wondering something : is it possible de desactivate/take off/shut down all the parallax effects ? I mean, on every landing page you got, some text appears when you’re scrolling down. Is there any way that all the page appears loaded ? It seems to me there is too much movement effects in the theme.

I am not quite sure if you mean the CSS animations or the Parallax effects. However, you can disable both of them. Shortly, you can easily create any page with no animations and effects.

You are welcome! Sure you can enable/disable the animations per element. I think that you have not any issues with the animations in Osmosis, am I right? Consider that Blade is much more powerful to see what I mean. Hope this makes sense :)

Sorry I wasn’t clear :) The scrolling sections are working (they scroll and the little dot nav moves the items etc). I am having issues Linking to these sections in the MENU and linking to these sections from the menu from other pages.

I have set up a brand new install on Blade with demo data to make sure that its not just a problem with my site. Like I said, more than happy to buy additional support and log a ticket, I will outline the issue here and then you can tell me and ill paste it into forum after renewing :)

Scenario:

My client has a home page with 5/6 scrolling sections. Each Row has been given and ID like “clients” or “who”. They have a few other static pages. They are using the HIDDEN Menu. In the menu, they wish to have links to ROWS on the home page, ie “Clients” In the menu, they also have links to the static pages.

Issue one:

We have created the menu, with some static pages, and also custom links like http://www.tonicpit.com/testsite/#who

If you are on the home page, open the menu and click one of the custom links (all linking to rows on scrolling page), nothing happens.

If I change menu link to just #who (remove URL) the scrolling link DOES work on the HOME PAGE, but on any other page (like from contact page) the link is broken (because does not have full url) and shows like http://www.tonicpit.com/testsite/contact/#who

Summary: Cannot link the scrolling panel sections correctly to get to them from any page.

Issue two:

If you are on a static page other than home page, ie http://www.tonicpit.com/testsite/contact-us-iii/ and then you open the menu, and click on a custom link ie http://www.tonicpit.com/testsite/#clients – you are then taken to home page, but the scrolling panel is now up top (order of panels is ignored, it does not scroll you down to relevant panel).

So for example, the “CLIENTS” panel is 3rd on my home page. Yet if I click on “Clients” in menu from contact page, the CLIENTS panel then shows FIRST, instead of 3rd in order.

If i then scroll DOWN to end of scrolling home, there are BROKEN rows (full white rows). I believe this is something to do with order being ignored.

Summary: If you are on a static page, and click a custom menu link item from menu, it takes you to home page but the order of the scrolling rows is wrong and there are broken panels.

Please let me know if you can assist, I need to be able to link to the these panels from the menu and need to be able to access them from other pages without breaking the home page.

I am afraid that the main point here is that you are not using the Scrolling Page feature properly. This is a special feature (read more details here ) that you must NOT mix up with the classic menu bookmarks(links). This can be used ONLY for automatic one page scrolling as there are dynamic IDs with full-screen rows which makes the classic scroll useless. Shortly, you have to try the classic one-page functionality for what you are trying to achieve.

Great theme. One question . . . on the hidden menu (anchor) the active page is not highlighting. Is there a way to specify a color for the active menu item? I see in the color customizer hover states, but not active states. Thank you!
