Hello, I must be tired but can’t understand why. Can you tell me why the images of portfolio are getting cut http://webdesignterminal.com/? I have tried all the possible option combinations. It looks like the image is cut already in the source image the html is loading, but I have set a big enough image in the Wordpress Settings > Media.

By default the masonry size for regular images is 500×500 and the bug&tall size is 1000×1000. If you’re trying to get your images to display in their original size without cropping, you’ll need to supply a “Custom Thumbnail Image” (available in the project configuration metabox) instead of a featured image

For comments I installed Disqus, and it works well.
These “likes” in the middle… how can I delete that? I don’t need that information to show.
For Social Media I install JetPack, but I have a problem with show information about times of share. Because I share that article for test three times on Facebook (no public, only I see that), and two times on my Twitter (public). And there is still “0”, why? However in bottom of page above comments where are social buttons from JetPac are, there is only information with number of Facebook shares (don’t know why that number is higer +1).

2. The upcoming update is going to remove the share count from Salient, the twitter API is already shut down so no counts can be displayed and Facebook is shutting it down within 6 months unfortunately – the data available as of now isn’t accurate

Just as a heads up Salient (using Ascend Theme Skin with default Overall Background Color) is butchering Gravity Forms styles. Checkbox’s disappear as well as form input fields. It looks like this is because it’s stripping out the input box background colour and borders.
This can be fixed via custom CSS but is sort of a pain. Any chance we can see an update that doesn’t break GF styles?

This is occurring because of the form loading the next/prev step with ajax – the solution to temp fix this could be fixed by turning off the minimal form styling in the Salient options panel > form styling tab. I’ve noted to look into a compatibility solution though

It’s a column set to the boxed style http://imgur.com/a/hU7Re , it’s not using a pricing table element, just a text block inside of that. Also ensure that you’re using the ascend skin to get the material shadow hover

Hi,
I am building a website to rent RC models. But I would need the renting system to work this way:
1) On the home page I want to show (over the main picture slider so using a lyered html code) JUST the Pick up and return date. Nothing else.
2) Once the client selects the pick up and the return date they should be redirected to another page where they can see the full list of available models
3) They select the model (in this page also we show prices) and they get redirected to the final page where they can see all the features of the model and the possible add-on options.
Is this possible with this theme?

It seems that the plugin might be dequeuing the touchswipe plugin which the Salient Nectar Slider needs. Could you reach out to the plugin author to see why that might be?

Thanks for the info, the developer tells me the same: “There is a js error coming from init.js file of your salient theme which corresponds to the slider on line 6386 in reference to the “swipe” function not being defined. You’ll need to check with the your theme developer for a solution. The error causes a stop for the rest of the page.” can you help me?
Yes, the touchswipe script is not being included when it should be, which is triggering the error – you mentioned this only occurs when activating the plugin bne flyout, if that’s not the case please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so I can take a further look https://themenectar.ticksy.com

Amazon Payment does not working in the newest Version 7.5.02 After a login via the popup on amazon, the page reloads and the shipping/payment option appear but no checkout information or buttons. The user cannot checkout via amazon payment. have a look here: www.inthim.de. Just tested it with a change of the there there it works like it should so it is a problem with the theme.

So far so good, but now there is still the checout button and the checkbox missing for the checkout page. Just have a look.
Another strange behavior i saw is the following: If you reload the page on the checkout with amazon you will see the spinners and also the buttons but they disappear when the stuff is loaded.
Now it works but i have to use the Login via Amazon instead of buy with amazon.

you could which would give you all of the pages, however the last demo you import will be the one that the theme options panel settings will remain as, since every import overwrites the current theme options with the demo being imported

Hi. I’m trying to see how to achieve the navigation style that your “service” demo uses. I’ve imported that demo using the Salient demo importer. The pages look like the demo (minus the images of course), but the navigation is like your “corporate” navigation. How do I see what you used for your “service” demo?
Also, I spotted a bug on the “service” demo with its navigation (http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-service/). It is happening in Chrome on Mac, but not in Chrome on Windows:
When the window is narrow enough for the hamburger menu to appear, and the window is not as tall as it is wide, then clicking or hovering over the hamburger icon does nothing.
Example 1: Width 990, Height 989 (or less) -> side nav does not open (bug). Example 2: Width 990, Height 990 (or more) -> side nav behaves as expected.

Hi ThemeNectar! I submitted a ticket with videos attached showing the bug in action. I figured out that it appears to happen only on monitors with slightly lower pixel densities. Regarding my first question – about how to get the “service” demo to import its navigation, I’m mostly referring to its hamburger menu and side nav. After I imported the service demo, the hamburger and side nav look and feel exactly like the “corporate” example, not the “service” example. Hey, the regular logo upload in this tab http://imgur.com/a/AsF6D needs to be the dark version of your logo – it will be the one used after you scroll down when your header turns to white. Also the “Header Starting Dark Logo” in this tab http://imgur.com/a/3edOM needs to be the dark version as well. The only one that should be white is the “Header starting logo”

Hi! Love this theme! By far the best I’ve used. I’m having some trouble with the mobile menu icon. Since the WP update, the icon appears underneath the header logo so the user can’t access it. The logo links to the home page, so that just keeps reloading. Previously the icon appeared to the right of the logo. How can I fix this? I’ve deactivated all plugins and problem still remains. Thank you!

I learned after more troubleshooting today that the off-screen menu is stuck on since the update in August even though the settings are set to off. So the menu icon behind the logo on mobile is the stuck icon. The correct menu icon – located at the right side of the header bar – is actually there, it’s just invisible. So now I have two problems; 1) off screen menu icon needs to go away on desktop site and 2) mobile menu icon is invisible. Thank you!!!
Hey, are you using a child theme? If so you’ll need to update your childs header.php to reflect the current parent theme. If you change to the parent theme temporarily it should also sort the issue
Yes, using child theme. I don’t see a header.php file inside the child theme folder. But I backed up the site, downloaded Salient fresh from Themeforest, and re-installed. All works now. Thanks so much for your help!

I am having a problem with my slider image to show up full page. The whole website is showing padding on left and right side. My background is white and there is this grey shadow line top to bottom creating padding. I have uploaded pictures in the slider and chosen full width and full screen.

Without being able to inspect the actual code, it would be hard to say why that’s occurring for you. Have you verified no third party plugins are creating the issue?
Thanks so much. I figured out what the issue was. I went to Salient and turned off the boxed layout. It worked. The pictures are no full width but seem to be cut off at the top. Do the pictures that I upload in the nectar slider need to be of a certain dimension?
Hey, you need to turn on the option for flexible slider height and set the height accordingly to ensure the aspect ratio holds responsively

One more questions. If I do not use the full width picture I see that the picture is framed by white which is my chose background color. The pictures looks great that way but it showing a black line at the bottom. When I change that same picture to full width the line is gone. How can i take the black line away. Thanks

Thanks for looking at this. I solved my search icon issue with simply getting rid of it. I still have the black line under my non full width slider pictures. The bigger issue I have right now is how the website looks on the phone instead of the computer screen. It looks different on my husbands samsung than on my Iphone. When i look on my iphone the logo looks different on the home screen then it looks on the inspiration screen. Small on the home screen and big on the inspiration page screen with hamburger icon running through it. Something in the middle would be great. I have played around with some settings and even turned off the sticky header setting but that does not work. Not sure what to do. On the Samsung all pages have the logo larger. It looks good with screen sideways but when kept upright the hamburger runs through it again.

Every page on my iphone looks different. It is so weird. The home page looks different from the women qigong page. The slide out menu looks different. The contact page still has my old logo with tagline. This is so interesting.
OMG I just figured out the phone issue. I had to go into each page and set it to a certain header height. Some were set to header height and some were set to full screen height. Got that fixed. I see now that on the phone a full screen picture looks much better then the cropped picture so no longer have to worry about the black line. If you have any tips after looking at the URL. Please let me know. Thanks so much. Sorry for the confusion.
