does anyone face problems with the child theme (latest download), “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “gilda” parent theme”

I just checked again by activating child theme in my local server and can not see any issue like you.
Are you using latest gilda 2.7.5 version? if not please re down load theme and update it.
If still face after updating theme, then go to my profile page and provide us the wp admin access to check it out.
hmm, yup using GildaVersion: 2.7.5, but anyway,i downloaded again the child theme and uploaded it. but still the same error , admin login details send to your profile page..

We removed shortlist from theme to plugin.
So please re download theme and install it, you will get alert message to install shortlist plugin.

Re down load theme and replace it with older theme, next you will be asked to install plugin just install it.
Open Short list page you already created and select “Talent Shortlist” template.

hi, I have trouble with gilda theme visualization on mac. Yesterday I saw that portfolio image was mashed, I update the theme and now I can’t see anything. Website works perfectly on PC, but not on MAC!

Please try to delete theme and re install it again.
I have the same problem on windows / safari with your Demo. But, your demo on mac works perfectly. I think there is a problem on custom.js

I have the same problem with telent pages on MacBook safari and Windows. Sometimes I don’t see anything, sometimes I see large images. I think it’s a bug of Talent Plugin but I don’t know if is CSS or JS problem

1. Sorry there is no option to change slider effect, but you can select gallery style if you do not want the slider.

slider files comes from talent agency plugin.
there is archive.js file in the plugin. If you are interested any other slider plugin, then you can use third party plugins and integrate it into the theme, this is the best I suggestion we can provide you. Its not easy to make changes to the existing slider.

Go to “wp-content/plugins/talentagency/js/custom.js” where you can search gallery slider, where you can manage it.

I have updated the theme gilda to newest version as well as wordpress and have installed the talent agency plug in. There is still a problem on the profile site of the talents: 1. layout does not fit anymore, text is aligned wrong. 2. The pictures of the galery are no longer displayed. if we update gilda to 2.7.0.: the whole profile/TALENTS disappear.We have a lot Problems since two months with your Gilda ..
so if you update gilda to 2.7.0. you will see what i mean!

I got what your issue is, we will work on this and fix it soon.
You have an option to disable the gallery, the slider is formed once you disable it, by default the slider is formed for portfolio single page.
You already have an option to increase the height of the profile images, I did it and now its looking fine.

Sorry, there is no option like that but you can define the either cities or countries and you can select theme and those will work fine.

Can you explain what are the issues you face, like 404 error or any issue page screenshots or ulr?
If you get 404 error for talent profile single page, then go to “Settings > Permalinks” select the post and save changes.
Provide us wp admin access if you still face the issues, go to my profile page and fill the form bottom right side.

Hello , i purchased the theme gilda and i’m having trouble locating the translation .po files , i found the en_us.po but it does not contain the strings located in the front end , like “view portfolio” & “You are already logged in” and so….. i need the english files so i can translate the front end , Thank you.
We just fixed this bug, you can download latest updates and find those words are added for translation.
Add ability to select the number of columns for search results (now 6).

I am facing the same issue. After installing the new update (Version 2.6.4) all models images and the data from the models disappeared. I used envato-market plugin to update the theme as mentioned on the support forum. Kindly look into this matter and provide the YouTube video if there is some special configuration required to update the theme.

wel when i have the talent/models in screen its fine, but when i want to click on them i do get a blanco page, I can click on the + or add button to go to the screen where i can use PDF or download or print but even there i get blanco page after that..
