Hi Guys.
Just a quick question in regards to the parallax effect on the homepage rev slider on Demo 5. When scrolling down the slider has an effect of white space scrolling in at an angle from the sides. I have loaded the demo data but do not see how this effect is accomplished. I have a client that wants the same effect? Would you mind explaining how I can accomplish this?

hi, we are trying to use the filterable portfolio but the filters don’t work, clicking on one filter just moves the page up to the top -any ideas why? it’s a clean install with all required plugins installed

Hi This is a presale question. My client loved another theme and wanted me to use it because of two main features on their home page sample – bubbles and typing text. The other theme is poorly constructed and support is terrible. I see that you have a bubble effect option. As I do not want to purchase another theme and find out that it is not suitable, can you please advise where it can be used on a site i.e. in any visual composer row? slider? I would also like to know whether this is a feature your team created or is it a plugin? Part of a slider? If so, which slider? Thanks

the bubble effect can only be used inside the Hero at the very top of the page. It’s not available as an element inside visual composer. The effect is a 3rd party script integrated into the theme. It’s a canvas driven effect.

What are the media embedding features. Which Social media platforms does Brooklyn support. Can you send me a link to show embedding with a photo sharing app eg. instagram or flickr?

the theme does currently only support twitter feeds. These feeds can be displayed in a carousel like the testimonial carousel here : http://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/basic/ or in a widget like here : http://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/basic/blog/ You will also recognize a flickr widget which allows you to stream images. For all other needs you need to use a plugin.

Does this theme have a feature for “upcoming events” or a calender?

It’s ok – I got it sorted. I disabled a few plugins I had leftover from previous theme and upgraded Wordpress and it worked fine. Great theme by the way.

glad you sorted it out. However this usually indicates that the server memory might be low. If you need to install more plugins in the future and the issue returns contact your hosting provider and ask for additional memory ( which should be possible ) without any additional costs ).

Hi there, is there a specific class to add to the links so that it scrolls smoothly? the theme had the contact link in the menu before that scrolled smoothly to the contact section but I accidentally deleted it and now I cant get that effect back on the menu item no matter what….

by default the menu adds a smooth scroll – but for the contact section you need an additional class called: contact-us
You can added this class when editing your menu – simply insert it into the class field.

if you open the Theme Options Panel > Typography > Body you can select a Websafe or Google font which allows you to change the font size. If you leave the font family drop down empty – the theme will use the default theme font with the selected font size.

thx a lot. I’ve noticed another problem. When I’m doing what you said (increasing the font size), everything is ok, apart from Polish diacritical signs (ą, ę, ć, ź etc.). They look as if they were heavier, written in bold. This happens both when using the theme font and Google fonts. The website is in Polish, so this is quite important for me. Can we do something about it?

that’s correct – the delivered theme font does not come with all special characters for different languages. In this case I can only recommend to use fonts which are supporting the needed characters. Basically Web Safe Font and Google Font with latin and latin ext as far as we know. WebSafe Font can be seen here : http://polish.typeit.org/
thank you, Relaway, which is theme font for your demo nr 1 supports Latin Extended (on google site), but in your theme Latin Extended in Relaway is not supported. The same about other Google fonts, that support Latin Extended on fonts.google.com (some of them do not support L. Extended in your theme). Can I can I upload somehow these fonts??

as written above we are not sure about the latin extended and the supported characters. We thought its covered by latin ext but it seems it’s not or are these characters based on Cyrillic character sets? There is currently no manual upload for fonts, but as written above websafe font should support your needs.
Please let me know what is the slider used in this demo. I mean the slider filename that I can edit on the backend to change the images. I am refering to theme demo no. 9.

demo 9 is using the fancy image slider. You can manage its images inside the theme option under front page > hero type.
