Hello! I hired to customize a site and I need to know how I control the distance between the menu and the submenu? I looked here and in the forum, but I don’t found answers… It is a requirement of my client, because he thinks the submenu is far from the menu – clients… : /

The submenu is placed at the very bottom of the menu container. If you want to bring it closer to the text, you would need to reduce the menu height via your Theme Options -> Menu -> Main Menu -> Main Menu Height.
If you wish to keep the menu height the same, you will need to use custom CSS to move the submenu further up the container. We have a getting started with custom CSS guide here:

I read the article in the link you sent me, but do not really know where to start, because I’m not a programmer (I’m a graphic designer and work more with print). Hello, Avada team! Very lovely theme, but i found that i can’t change any font options in “Headers Typography” and “Body Typography”. Select font is not clickable. I’m able to change only font color, but not the Font-size, especial Font-family and other options looks locked… I tried in different browsers like Chrome and Fitrefox… What to do?

I do apologize, but I’m not entirely sure I understand your question. Our theme uses WooCommerce here https://woocommerce.com ... so whatever can be done with that, you can do with Avada since that is the plugin you use.
When you create an account to buy something with WooCommerce, it does allow you to create an account, and you have a username and password. When you go back to the site, you use that to login, and you can have a login widget in the main or top menu, or even sidebars, etc.

We are getting a javascript error since upgrading wordpress to 4.6 “Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href=#]” it is breaking all of our GravityForms instances…. if i turn Avada theme off, the forms no longer are broken, and if i backdate to older Wordpress, the forms no longer are broken… is there an update that fixes this? Avada 3.8.3 is what we have
nevermind, i upgraded to 4.0.3 and the error is gone now answered my own question

Hello, I am trying to find out how to change the format of the date field dates in the Contact Form builder? The date format is confusing for US customers in that is is dd/mm/yyyy and I would like to get it to display in mm/dd/yyyy which is a US standard.

I have bought 8 themes from you I believe, and they work great. I have one question though: Since I have so many, I have lost track of which purchase code goes with which page. Now I realize I didn’t put in the code for auto updates across all of these pages.
I am trying to update a specific page now, but after putting in API code, purchase code and user name, nothing happens still. Could it be explained by the purchase code already being in use on another page? If so, I’ll just check through and find out which one is not in use still, but if I cannot circle out the error beforehand I’ll just waste time.
Would it be a good use of time to try another purchase key, or can you somehow see which pages uses which purchase key? I can give you all the URLs if that’s the case.

Sure, I have two examples because I would like a fusion of both.
Example 1: http://elysiumffxiv.com/page/index.php
In this example, I would like to highlight the application section (Click on “Application” at the top right). They allow people to select the team they wish to apply to and bring you to a form you may fill out. After the application is submitted, users can still check on the status of their application and make comments/read comments from people assessing the application.
Example 2: https://www.marylandhealthconnection.gov/using-online-application/
What I like about this application is that you can save your progress. In the previous example, the application had to be complete in one sitting. In this application, however, you have no way of communicating with the person evaluating it (For obvious reasons).
I would like a combination of both applications where the application is saved as you go, but also allows for communication between the applicant and website users with a specific forum rank.

Avada itself doesn’t provide an application feature, that is something that would need to be handled by a third party plugin. There are many plugins out there to build custom forms, but an application form that you can save and come back to isn’t something that I’ve seen before.
It may be worth heading over to the WordPress forums and asking if anyone is familiar with a plugin that provides this functionality.

This is to advise you of a bug in 4.0.3 – we raised the issue with Event Tribe, they are saying it is Avada’s problem.
On the Event Calendar page, it shows “Upcoming Events” in the page title bar… this is OK. But then if we click onto “Previous Events”, the Ajax page loads and the page contents changes to past events, no problem. BUT… the page title bar still stays as “Upcoming Events”... which is incorrect and confusing, as the page is now showing Past Events. Tested with TwentySixteen the page title changes correctly to “Past Events”. I don’t really want to spend $41 on support, just to tell you there’s a bug that needs fixing. Thanks and best wishes.

Today two websites lost there layout! both are back as standard with even Avada logo. Did not change anything, I did not even logged in during the last 14 days. How is this possible?

What is certain is that there will be a valid reason behind why this would of happened and Avada itself, can’t change it’s own settings etc.
A common situation we come across, regularly, is that Avada, WordPress, Plugins (any one of these individually, or all three collectively) is/are not updated as and when updates are due. It is imperative that updates are maintained accordingly.
For example, many posting providers automatically update WordPress however customers do not keep Avada updated accordingly and that can over time lead to issues
I would suggest the following:
1 – Check your installation and make sure Avada is up too date, the latest version of 4.0.3
2 – Check and make sure that WordPress is up to date, the latest version being 4.6.1
3 – Check and make sure that all of your plugins are update to date
4 – If need be, contact your hosting provider to check and see if they have changed anything

The theme again contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. Is there an update?

Which version of Avada and WooCommerce do you currently have installed? If you’re using Avada 4.0.3 and WooCommerce 2.6.4, there is a patch available that will resolve the outdated WooCommerce template files. You can read more about how to use the Avada patcher tool here:

There are three options for the page title bar position, left, right and center. These options can be found in your Theme Options -> Page Title Bar -> Page Title Bar Text Alignment. If you require any other position, you will need to use custom CSS to move the text.

Does this theme allow to create multiples one pages? I mean, I wish I could create double menu: a fist top menu to navigate to each onepage and a second menu specific to each one page. Just like apple website, but with responsive solution?

Yes, there is an option to set a main header that is used on all pages by default and then each page has an option to use a different header on that page specifically. This will allow you to create several ‘one page’ pages each with a different menu.
