If you have updated the theme to latest version, you just need to follow the insctructions below on how to update the Visual Composer:
-VC update
a. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
b. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
c. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
d. Install the plugin and then activate it
-Clear browser cache

Unfortunately, there is no option of importing the media files separately. However, you can just import the demo content again, this time together with the media files, because the content of the theme can’t be duplicated so you will have the desired effect. Just have in mind that if you decide to do this, you will need to delete all the menus that were created with the first demo import, because they will be duplicated.

I love this theme for a new project of a webshop (especially masonry and showcase shop). The only thing I would like to check is the cart and checkout page (one page checkout possible?), but it doesn’t work in the live demo. I get the message “Error establishing a database connection”. As you can see in the following screenshot http://screencast.com/t/rlCoAYeW2N the WooCommerce by default offers the email notifications for all of the actions related to it. You just need to enable/disable the desired ones and everything should work just fine.

You will be able to change the image sizes to your liking, for example you can set the image size for products inside the WooCommerce/Settings but you may need to contact our support to provide you with some custom css code for you to get the desired look, because of the responsive design of our product pages, which may not apply your settings if they are breaking the responsiveness. You can change the color of each button type inside the Edge Options/Elements/Button. With our theme you are also getting the Visual Composer page builder, which is drag and drop type of builder. If you would like for us to provide you with some admin panel images, please contact us on the following email support@edge-themes.com and we will send you some screenshots.

I have a couple of unrelated questions.
1) How do I change the media permalinks from ?attachment_id to clean, search engine friendly urls like with pages and posts? I have another site using another theme and all media have clean urls (that can be edited) for improved SEO.
2) How do I remove or turn off “Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.” that’s at the bottom every page? I’m baffled as to why it’s there in the first place.

1) Unfortunately there is no default theme option for this, but you could try to improve your website SEO with some plugin like Yoast SEO.
2) You just need to navigate yourself to Edge Options/Pages and set show comments to NO to turn off your comments.

You can change the title of the widgets used in the footer area inside the Edge Options/Footer, under the Widget title style option. When it comes to the content of the widgets inside the footer, the style for them is usually given directly inside of them by using css, or by pasting the css into the Edge Options/General/Custom css field. Hi I need some help:
1) Header/menu is cropping off top part of single product pages (image and text). Seems like the header/menu overlaps the single product pages.
2) I can’t see breadcrumbs on single product pages.
I’m frustrated because I actually didn’t have problem 1) or 2) until I uploaded the demo content. I’ve reset the settings and even deleted then reinstalled the theme and neither worked. I’ve also disabled plug-ins and that didn’t work either.
3) I can’t make header/main menu area transparent.
4) Main Home page demo content won’t display. I only see a loading icon. (Other demo pages I have’t checked may not work either).

Hi again So i tried using the header type on the far right, the last one, which is supposed to be a bottom menu right? Well, my menus is not on the bottom, it’s still on top, but it displays single product pages with cropping them.

Hi, researching themes and so far leaning towards yours. One thing I’d recommend it to make the product photos in mobile view swipeable. Instead of taking up so much vertical space and requiring lots of scrolling for image intensive listings… it would be nice to swipe right and left through the gallery. Any chance you’ll do this?
Testing in mobile view, can’t see login or search functions. Also the cart gets messed up on smaller phones. Really like the themes overall and it has features I’m looking for that others don’t. But, agree with other comments that the checkout area is somewhat lackluster. Hope to see more updates

Thank you for your message, for the moment we don’t have swiping possibility for the product images on mobile. We will forward this to our developers so this will maybe be considered as the future feature. Thank for noticing this about the cart, this can be corrected by some simple css, and we will let our developers know, so that they can fix this in our demo site. The search and the login can be easily added to mobile view by adding their corresponding widgets to Right From the mobile menu widget area.

Just as I was about to make the purchase I just noticed something on your theme that I think is a mistake… The product titles are using H4 tags, but the Related Products title is within H2 tags. And I can’t see anything using an H1 tag. That means there is more importance being placed on the term “Related Products” than the actual product name. It might be better for SEO to use H1 for the product title. Something small like this makes me wonder about this themes overall SEO capability. Any thoughts?
Image titles are also showing up empty in the code. This may not be good for image SEO. Just a heads up.

You can set the product title tag either for the product list or for a single product from the Edge Options/WooCommerce and make it have any tag from H2 to H5. The H1 tag we only use for the title area. The image titles do not have any header tag for them by default, but that can also be easily changed inside the default theme templates, but you would need to do this on your own. You can use some SEO plugin like Yoast Seo for better SEO optimization.
