Hi, thanks for the cool theme. But i have a huge problem. I have included wpml and tranlsated the theme. When i add a new car for example in english, its not available when i switch to german language. What can i do to show all ways the default language for a car ad instead of showing nothing. I already lost at least one day with inspecting possibilities and reading comments. Please help

Hi,
You can set up it under WPML -> Languages -> Language switcher options -> How to handle languages without translation and (display translation if it exists or posts in default language otherwise). It should solve your problem.

Thanks for the fast reply! I already tried all options, also the option (All posts (display translation if it exists or posts in default language otherwise)) show blog posts if language not exists but it show only the cars from one language. the car counter shows the correct total number of car listings. Any ideas?

I need your theme to function as a classifieds theme (not for cars, but other items like clothing for example). I see you have added the payment plan option if we purchase the subscripteo plugin. I have a question about setting up plans.
I need to have 2 plans.
1. FREE plan that includes very basic information like description, 1 image, contact details (email and phone number)
2. A Paid plan that includes the same as FREE plan but also includes up to 10 images, a video, expanded contact details like website and social media contacts, etc.
Is it possible to set specific fields for each plan so the Free plan is limited to the options I listed above and the paid plan has more options included – also like I listed above?

There are limits only for posts and images amount using subscriptions in the theme. But there is no limit for the post content. Also it’s possible to set user role for each plans and with this way you can limit/expand user information details. For example here is an example for simple user – http://motors.stylemixthemes.com/classified/listings/bmw-328i-perfect-condition/ and another one is for dealer post – http://motors.stylemixthemes.com/classified/listings/bmw-535i-navi-leather-perfect-condition/ . As there is no section for Social links, so it’s possible to realize your request via customizing listing post templates. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Also how do I add gallery images to each listing, i’ve tried to add images under “GALLERY OPTIONS” however it only allows me upload 1 image?
And also when I add the price to the listing, it displays like £2 393, how do i make it display like £2,393

I use this theme not for selling cars but vans and i want to change ”new car” & “used car” in home page tab to “Vans”.. can you tell me how to do that please? I have already viewed the video tutorial however it doesn’t actually demonstrate how to change the “New Car” “Used Car” section on the homepage?

The STM Car Listing tabs module gets items from your listing categories. Therefore you need to choose needed category slugs under this module settings.

There is a Brochure option where you can include ready PDF file, but it doesn’t generate the file. Also unfortunately there is no such widgets which you have asked. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Theme supports featured ads, but there is no payment module for this in the theme. So site Admin can set featured items individually. Also it’s easy to create/modify listing categories and realize your second request – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjcZMgA8LF4&feature=youtu.be .

Sorry, it seems you did not understand my question regarding listing types.
I mean one listing website for cars, motorbikes, boats .. etc.
all in one website.
You can use one listing website for different types of vehicles via adding appropriate listing categories. Thus they will be parent categories and you can add sub categories like make, model, year etc.

I am still not clear about this. kindly please advice me of the following issues:
1- if this is the case, then you currently have one parent category (cars), and then all fields related to it as child sub-categories.
2 – dose this mean that it will be easy to make different search fields for each parent category, upon selection of boats for examples, then the search fields will change to that is related to boats only.
3 – can you give me demo access to the admin dashboard. this will really help me to understand, because I really liked your theme and willing to buy if i could clear this ambiguity.
Yes of course. You need to set parent category for each sub-categories and search filter will work just as you described. Please watch video link in our previous reply it shows how category filter works.

I have checked the admin backend demo, and found that this theme is made manly for cars. in admin panel, you have one menu called Cars which i can add different type of fields for cars listing only.
why don’t you have instead of cars, (inventory type) where when I click on inventory type, i can add car, boat, motorcycle, ....... etc. and then under each one of those, we can add the fields for them.
I am looking for multi listing types or what you called different inventory types. like cars, motorcycles, boats and so on.
I need to set different search fields for each inventory type with tabs in home page.
also, I should be able to specify different fields for each type in the front-end add listing page.

The listings are custom post types and it is not possible for buying them from inventory. They are displaying information like bulletin board. There is a Woocommerce plugin for shop – http://motors.stylemixthemes.com/shop/ .

Hi, how can I change / add Makers / Car type icons (Ford, Lexus, Audi… ect. & sedan, minivan, sport car etc.) look: http://motors.stylemixthemes.com/classified/ – icons on “Browse by Make” and “Browse by type”. Hi, 1. I chose woocommerce memberships but the “become a dealer” button still shows in mobile menu, How do I remove it and show the “Plans” section in user profile in mobile version? 2. I set the option redirect to cart after adding membership but is not working, I think is when a user has already added a membership to cart it just go to the homepage, what are my options?

It would be great if you can add a currency selection function at Add a Car module and make this appear on the price labels too, because some customers want to use local currency but others want to use USD or EUR. It´s a very important issue.
You can put any symbol for your currency under Appearance -> Customize -> Listing -> Inventory settings.

im talking about currency selection on the add a car module, for customers to select what currency they need to use. i dont need to put any symbol.
Oh sorry. Unfortunately there is no such functionality in the theme and it’s possible to use only one currency there. Because multi-currency option may cause several problems on Inventory pricing filter.

translation issue AGAIN
i translated the days month etc… for the date picker in the add car page doesnt show the french words.
It needs to localize datepicker script in order to change its language – http://trentrichardson.com/examples/timepicker/ . “stm-years-datepicker” script is in a ”../motors/assets/js/app.js” file.

Add an item button:
1- when i go to Customize > Header > Main Setting: I cannot find a way to tranlate the words Add Your Item in the (button label in header)
2- when i go to Customize > Header > Main Setting: I cannot find a way to translate the link that is in the (button link in header)
