Very unhappy with the documentation. It seems very very old. First thing. Set up slide show, notice there are several main options in the WP side panel in the current versionb that are not in the documentation. OPen “Slide SHow” Top should be (according to manual) “Slide Show General” and options “Disable Slide Show, Slide Show Type.

Not there. Just none existant options Programmer has probably done something very clever and intricate that techy people can understand and use – and appreciate.

Me? I’m just left with an expensive theme that I am about to uninstall.

Complex theme with poor documentation (and some parts undocumented) is a waste of time.

I have a client who needs website up by Wednsday – so docs in a few days is no good to me. Docs done BEFORE release – not after…everyone knows that for every product. Don’t release unfinished products!

Warning – do not buy unless you want to spend hours working out where all the bottons and features have moved – cause the docs won’t tell you.

Hi there im a new to webdesign and I bought the striking premium theme early yesterday. I was wondering if i can get a refund. although this theme like there are lots of options for modification, the support is horrible. i have asked a simple question on how to assign sliders on the front with text option showing on each slider and it has been over 24 hours and no response. there are no tutorials on how to do basic things for newbies like me. Karma theme actually has awesome support and 20 video tutorials and bunch of FAQS . their response for tickets is within few hours.

this theme might be the best for the more experienced people but not for me.

i need a refund so i can buy another Karma or actually the Showtime premium theme as im not getting support both from the topics help they have and from the human factor

This wonderful theme needs a mobile version to be the best on the market. WPtouch is not work with it. Do you think to make a mobile css for it?

Not only is this one of the best, most comprehensive, most customizable themes out there but the Striking support team is absolutely phenomenal.

Their Support forums helped me fully utilize the themes potential and Kaptin Lin even incorporated a suggestion for the theme to incorporate an internal mp3 player.

Just mind blowingly nice guys. I’d buy anything they put together.

Loving your theme

Before I buy it and start creating I was hoping you could answer a few questions.

1) In your demo when I click on the Flickr images on the right hand side I get this message:

“We’re sorry, Flickr doesn’t allow embedding within frames.”

Is this something that has since been fixed so that it possible to stream Flickr gallery content?

2) In blog posts there aren’t any examples of video posts so I’m hoping I can post a video in a blog and have it play from the main blog page as well as when the specific post is clicked and we are on it’s own page.

Hope that makes sense …

3) Can I change the background of he site to all black and possibly add background images to specific pages?

Looking forward to hearing back from you and then switching my site over to this format!

I have a problem. I make changes to the home page of my site, with the new Homepage Content Editor. I saved; the system responds: updated successfully, in the Homepage Content Editor is appears the new text, but when the home page is reloaded, there are no changes. If you reload the page: theme_homepage of Striking, it shows the old text, without modification. What’s going on. It seems that it does not write in database My site is upgraded to wordpress 3.2.1 and Striking at 4.03

I figured out the social icon issue. To add a row of icons, simply do a Ctrl + click to select the ones you want to appear. Duh!

The theme is working out really well for us! One question: I went to change the height of the jQuery Nivo slider, and it made the slideshow content sort of disappear. Even changing the height back to 440px doesn’t change the condition. Any thoughts?

Maybe its the newb in me, but I can’t get it to install using the admin page on the WP. It just says “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again” its WP 3 .2.1 so I’m not sure whats going on, anyone got any advice.
