Separate from my prior question, the importing of demo content is not working. Followed the documentation instructions, and it says the import was completed successfully. However, no pages or media got added. Is there another way to import the demo content?

Hi there. Just purchased and installed the Burst theme and installed the required plugins. I’m getting notices that LayerSlider requires PHP5. It also won’t allow me to update the LayerSlider plugin without a separate purchase code. How should I address this?

Your PHP version has to be at least 5.4, but also WP requires 5.6 for the best functionalities. https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ .
When it comes to licensing, we bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer and Layer Slider), and we can’t give you license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists. Then when you update theme you just need to go to your back-end Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugin then you will get some notification to install necessary plugins to our theme, then just click to install/activate again these plugins and that will be all. If you don’t get this notification to install necessary plugins, then just go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload -> Find these plugins in our theme folder/plugins select one by one and click import/install.
Basically, you can ignore activation messages and use your plugins freely.

Hi I think this theme has everything I need, just had a couple of questions before buying:
I’m looking for something like your cover boxes, is it possible to have them, when clicked, pop-up (like a lightbox or something) and autoplay a vimeo video? Or otherwise have 2 images side by side when clicked pop-up and play a video?
Also for the portfolio items, is it possible to display them similar to “text on hover no space” (1×1 square items, no space) but when you hover over them have the entire image be clickable, and instead of text and description just have a logo – see example of what I mean here: http://bit.ly/2d98XV1
Also I’m assuming are you able to disable the phone number/time/email/social links top nav bar before the main nav bar?

When it comes to your first question, there is no possibility to add video in lightbox, it was only made for images, but when it comes to second question, “text on hover no space”, you can do some tweaking with CSS. You can put some font-awesome icon instead of text on hover. Also, you can change background that will appear on hover, also by css. Both icon and background are unified (one for all elements)

When it comes to number/time/email/social, these are widgets, you can simply modify or delete them.

Hi,
Is there a way to style the header light and the header dark with different styles and use them both on different pages? For example, on the homepage I’d like for the header bar to be transparent, but on my regular pages I would that bar to be a red color both on the initial state and scrolled state. I cant seem to get this functionality to work. Without this styling, my logo on regular pages will cover the content at times when scrolling. Please advise.
P.S. I have tried posting this in your support section, but each time I do it says my purchase code was invalid. I have checked and double checked the code and it is a valid code. Very frustrating.

When it comes to altering light and dark settings for header, this could be don via CSS.

Your widget is stuck because it was created for using with WPML plugin which you probably didn’t activate. It is just the showcase Text widget that you do not have to use if you don’t want. You can go to Appearance > Widgets and in Header Top Right widget area, you will find Text widget that holds raw html with language bar icons. You can simply delete it or modify it.

1. To do that simply hide featured image on each post under Mikado General > Hide Featured Image, where you should set Yes.

3. You can navigate to wp-content\themes\burst\languages where you will find .po file for your default language, within you will find all the labels and translations you can enter.

To change the color of hover in blog lists, go to Mikado Settings > Blog and under BLOG LIST TEMPLATE OPTIONS: STANDARD, you can set the initial and hover color of the title in the same way if you’re using Blog: Standard template.
