Hello, I am using Moose theme, and would like to increase the size of the logo.
I found in the theme comments that you should upload the logo file double the size you want, but besides that the logo is restricted to the header height. So, for instance, my header has 120px height, but I want the logo to be 140px.
I need it to go outside a little bit. I do see the option to increase the logo on mobile version, but not the regular desktop version. I appreciate if you could let me know what custom CSS I might use.

If you want to setup your logo with height of 140px in mobile header, use this part of code and paste it in Elated options > general > Custom Code > Custom Css

Hi,
We have purchased the theme recently and have installed it on our website. Unfortunately, we have faced several problems in implementing the theme – from importing the demo data, page elements on Visual Composer not showing properly and now the admin is showing 404 when trying to load the page editor with the Visual composer.
We have already tried different solutions such us renaming the plugin and deleting plugins and reinstalling them, reuploading the WP core files, increasing memory limit via WP config and php.ini and still have no luck.
Can you please provide us guidance on how to fix these problems please? Currently, there is no way for us to update the content on the website as the page editor is now loading.

Why in the world does the theme wants to have writing permissions in the theme folder as mentioned in the documentation????? I never ever had a theme, that needs writing permissions.
My hoster (All-Inkl.com) told me, that I should never ever give theme folders writing permissions, and they said that it is a bad coding from what theme author ever, when a theme claims writing permissions in the theme folder.
Could you please explain in detail, why exactly the theme needs writing permissions for its CSS and its JS folder please? Can I avoid this? What do you mean in the documentation that it’s necessary for “optimize your site performance”?

It’s not a 777 permission, it’s a 755. It’s necessary because it allows files to create static files from dynamic. which are responsible for the functionality of saving options.

Thanks I looked into that. I’m mostly concerned about the redirects at the moment. The theme seems to be creating them because when I switch themes the issue goes away. I’d rather see if I can fix this issue with your theme before moving on to another theme.

There are plenty of things that affect site’s performance. Starting from server configuration, content optimization, usage of caching… Moose theme has a lot of options, and because of that there is a lot of things that are going on in the back (conditional functions, calculations etc.), but beside that all scripts inside the theme are already minified and page speed test offer acceptable speed grades.
Some moose theme users, managed to optimize moose theme for speed, and load time to below 2 seconds, so following what we suggested you could really speed up your site.

Yes I have done what was instructed but as I said the redirects are my main concern right now. Those errors seem to be out of my control. Leveraging browser cache is 1 of many issues with the speed.

How do I add sound to my background video in elated slider. The video I loaded does have sound.

You could achieve that by removing class ‘muted’ in this file wp-content\plugins\eltd-cpt\post-types\slider\shortcodes\slider.php . You should search for word ‘muted’ in the file above and simply remove it.
