Hi support, I have problems with the form not send message if I install the page on a sub-folder/sub-folder/sub-folder. I upload the folder CSS, JS, Images to the root domain and change the HTML to use the CSS, JS, Images, Video. All show fine. But when I try to send message show an error, the error show All html and add access denied. I upload the same html to the root folder, and the form work fine.
Maybe dont find the mail.php or something, I need some of help.

You have purchased an HTML template and it sounds like you are attempting to install this on a WordPress instance.
You cannot install HTML templates in WordPress. You can open a refund request in if you believe this purchase was made in error.

Yes but you will need to do this outside Variant, in HTML, as it isn’t something that is supported in Variant.

Hello, I have two form fields (via mailchimp) but one is a drop down for city. How can I make this work? Which file should I look at in the coding to update the fields it’s passing? Right now it goes to the mailchimp error page but required fields are missing.

Hello.
I would like to upload images to the Pivot Medium sitebuilder, but I keep on getting these error messages with ’ Copy logo.png to your img folder and then click refresh’. I’ve copied the logo to my image folder but it still does not seem to work. Can you someone help to solve this matter?

Hi there,
You need to place your images inside the image folder as well as import them into the builder – naturally you’ll need a copy of the template do this so it requires purchase to use your own images. Alternatively – if you’re just testing you use images that are already hosted online somewhere.

The form works via PHP and requires you to edit the mail.php file with your mail hosting providers details – this is not done through the builder.

Unfortunately, my support ticket was no longer available.
1. When I downloaded your file it came without the .zip ending. I first had to rename the file.
2. There’s an ” Image Right with CTA” (class=”features features-14”). How do create an Image Left with CTA. Whenever I moved the divs they do not show the image in full-size.

Is it a simple thing to add more input fields for the contact form?
Yes, very simple but this must be done outside Variant, when you have finished editing your page. You’ll just need to make some simple adjustments in your html file but we can assist you with this if you open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com. Just be sure you have finished editing what you need in Variant first, because your html can’t be re-imported after the form changes are made.

Hi, you can simply open Variant and import the fitness.variant file (provided in the demos folder in your download package). The .variant file contains all the the settings and sections to re-create the full look of each demo. You can alternatively open Variant (double click builder.html) then add ?demo=fitness into the address bar and hit enter. The demo will be loaded automatically then.

What is difference from HTML? Any more modules being added? If you had some more blocks, you would outshine the other Variants. Your blocks are very creative use of CSS. I just want more of them. Any idea when more will be added?
Whomever adds an ftp upload function to Variant and live preview will make a killing selling their builder. I know variant is designed for inter, advanced builders, for the most part, but there is a massive market out there who don’t know to manage html files. IT’S HUGE!
Having a onboard uploader would allow you to capture this huge market who would otherwise throw up their arms, not knowing how to handle the files created with builder. I’m a 15 year veteran internet marketer. I coach businesses on things just like this. Variant is hands down best blocks builder and LK has most fluid templates I have seen. Not long ago, you would require a master’s in html and design to pull off the output you can now achieve in minutes!
So Variant is doing a great half job in this area. They have brought stunning web design output onto the desktops of thousands who can now create awesome websites and landing pages.
I say ‘half job, because they are leaving out the next logical step…. An easy means to manage sites built and upload to a web host. Live preview.
I’m well versed in the builder frontend and love it but not in the backend coding, so I’m sure whats involved to evoke such capabilities.
I DO know that whomever embraces this functionality, will own the wysiwyg marketplace. Even the Wixx’s of the internet may be challenged with a DIY option that boasts lessor cost, much better design output and ability to create multiple sites.
Variant and coders of this framework can learn alot about the Wixx model and why these ‘one domain, one site’ outfits have millions of customers.

Forms are handled by either MailChimp , Campaign Monitor, or if you want an email in your inbox, you need to configure mail.php in the mail folder. To embed MailChimp form, click the envelope icon on the section which has the form in it. Please read documentation.
To put images into Variant you must first copy it to your img folder, then open the gallery in Variant and click import to bring it into Variant.

Wel I did read your docs. I’m referring to contact forms not autoresponders. There’s nothing there regarding forms. What wm i editing inside of mail.php?There is also no import button on launchkit. I have foundry and there is, but not on launch
