auto update via themeforest API does not seem to be working. it says my theme is up to date (doesnt provide a version #) however i am unable to update visual composer which was updated on 1.6.8. can you advise?

The theme has Revolution Slider plugin included for free. We highly recommend it, because we consider it the best overall slider solution currently available for WP. Still, if you prefer using your own slider plugin, as long as it is WordPress compatible, it should be fine. All the best.
Thank you. Revolution Slider has lots of options but it is slow and affects site speed. I am looking for a slider that is lighter and allows better image quality. If I use another slider will I have to edit the home page file within the theme?
You can add the slider at the top of the page, but if you want to place it in the header, you need to edit some code. The Customizer and the Individual Page Settings header options are built for a Revolution Slider. All the best.

From your description, the issue is most likely related to your WP install or server settings or restrictions. You should contact your server admin, as the XML upload crashing your website can be caused only by a malfunctioning WP platform. The demo content is a standard WP XML file and it shouldn’t create any issues on a correctly configured platform.
I am not sure what you mean by thinking our theme is different. If you encountered the same issues with other WP themes, then it is clear that the source of the problem is related to your server. Please contact your server admin and ask for his help. If you send us a link to your WP dashboard and login data, we can investigate on your platform, but the issue is probably related to the server.

I have spent the whole night and day trying to sort out this theme. I am really disappointed because I thought yours will be different.
Anytime I upload the theme and it gets to the points of uploading the xml files, the website crashes.
I have to rebuild everything again. I have looked at it from my backend and at this point, I am really confuse.
Just to let you know, after updating the theme to 1.6.8.1 and updating the Revolution Slider Plugin the pictures in the slides on the homepage won’t show up! I downgraded the Revolution Slider Plugin from the backup and the pictures are back again.

Hello, I like your theme but before buying I would to know if it includes a payment processor or step by step booking system… i.e. On the demo when a attempt to book a fictional stay it says that your reservation has been received but doesn’t redirect the user to a payment page? or does the customer get invoiced after the hotel confirms the reservation?

My client purchased this theme and I am trying to set up a page similar to your For the Kids page. I have inserted the image carousel into full width row and added background image successfully, but I can’t see how the image carousel is centred within the row. I have compared all settings for row, column and element and I cannot see where this is set – can you explain please? Thanks.

Hi there, I am working with your awesome theme right now but I have one problem that I cannot get fixed. On the URL http://demo.curlythemes.com/hotel-wp/rooms/junior-suite/ there is a slider up top with the other slides as thumbnails underneath the big slider image. I have added 2 images and they show up as thumbnails but the big slider image above the thumbnails does not show up. Is there something else I need to do or activate in order for the first image to show up as the bigger image above the thumbnails?

Leisure does not have a booking functionality included. The form on the demo front page is a Ninja Forms reservation through mail form, which you can of course choose not to use. All the best.

Hi, my Curly Theme Ninja Booking form disappeared from my site. It now shows code and is no longer in the options to add back in. I’m assuming this is an error because it’s one of the main features in the theme for the home page. The horizontal form.

In the Amenity Icon field you should write only the number of the icon, like for example 157, not the whole shortcode. The shortcode is used to add icons in regular pages. That field is designed specifically to display icons, it works with just the 3-digit number. All the best.

In the sharing box that is at the bottom of pages and posts, the Google + option sends a 404 error. I have the latest version of the theme, visual composer and wordpress. Is this a known issue?
I updated the line of code in template-parts > sharing.php to: $curly_gp = add_query_arg( array( ‘op’ => ‘edit’, ‘title’ => $title, ‘url’ => $link ), ‘https://plus.google.com/share?url=' ); and it works.

Hey there – noticed that Visual Composer is missing from the new updated download pack. Have had to update it on a few other sites as well, but I’m not able to find it in the new Leisure download pack. Our VC is not working and just sits on the loading icon for every element when attempting to edit. What should we do?

We moved the included plugins from the download pack to our server, to decrease the pack size and download time. You should be able to install the new VC version directly from your dashboard. If you do not have an update notification, please delete the plugin and the theme should prompt you with the auto-install process. If you need help, you can open a ticket on our support platform.
