Hi,
I am looking to purchase this theme, but I don’t see anything in the sample templates about a search by state directory. Does this theme come with such a feature? I see that another company uses this same theme and has a search by state/salesperson directory (see link here: http://epssg.com/directory?keywords=). This is the main reason I wanted this theme aside from the awesome features! Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hmm, unfortunately this isn’t a feature that comes with Avada out of the box. As it’s quite niche, you would need to look for a third party plugin that provides that type of functionality. I’m afraid I haven’t used such a plugin myself, so I can’t recommend a specific one. You may wish to head on over to the WordPress forum and see if anyone has a plugin that they would recommend:

In that case you can simply use our content box shortcode instead as discussed here : https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-shortcode-list/#boxes
However in order to achieve the same with flibox you need to use custom CSS and set pointer-events to none;.

Hi, why when someone register from the “Register element” of the theme builder i have this error “Something went wrong during registration. Please try again.”? When someone try to register from https://psoralek.com/wp-login.php?action=register all is okay?

This happens after theme installation when trying to install fusion core:

What version of Avada are you using? The correct version of Avada is needed with FusionCore. If you have a fusion core installed, delete it totally. Then follow the prompts to install it and it should be fine.

Hello, I’m using the Avada theme and the User Login Shortcode functionality and I have the following issue: The user logs in and at some point closes the web browser. When the website is opened again the login session is not remembered. Is there a possibility to remember the session like the standard wordpress logging?

Hmm, do you mean adding team members to WordPress, or displaying a page with all of your team members on it? If it’s the former, the user accounts are handled by WordPress itself. If you want to extend the user functionality, you may wish to use a third party plugin. If it’s the latter, we do have a ‘Person’ shortcode that can be used to display team members, with links to their social media profiles.

Hi, how do I put partner logos in the footer but right next to the social icons and the same sort of size? I’ve tried using custom CSS. I think custom CSS with different image URLs and links to each partner website would work. Can someone help me with this?

The footer copyright area holds copyright text on left and social icons on right, you can also choose to center it. So yes if you want to add images in that area you will need to customize it, or you could add it in the copyright field in theme options > footer content just by inserting normal image markup.
Depending on exactly what you want, it could be considered a customization, but please submit a ticket with our team so we can check it out in detail.

Hello. I work on a project and I used Avada 4.0.3. Everything was fine until today when I saw that 100% width is missing from template list and my home page changed. I have default template, blank page, all templates except 100% width. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Hmm that would not happen on it’s own so something had to be removed from your server, which means from the wp-content > themes folder.
I’d recommend loading back 4.0,3 theme file, for which you can download from your https://themeforest.net/downloads tab here on themeforest.
That should fix it as it sounds like you have missing files. If the issue persists, please signup at our support center and submit a new ticket. Yes that should work fine as long as you are putting it in the “content” field, which utilizes the normal WP editor field (VISUAL/TEXT) editor.

I received a note from dreamhost that I need to update to PHP 5.6 or 7.0. Is that compatible with Avada 3.1 or do I need to upgrade to Avada first and is it compatible then? Thank you.

It is always better to stay with the latest version of both PHP and theme along with WordPress too, we strongly suggest updating our theme to its latest version 4.0.3 and same goes for PHP too.
Please read our important update info section before updating the theme. Do update the theme first and then the PHP.

Hi! Great Theme! I’m about to purchase the theme but I have few questions before I make a decision.
1. Can I put a Modal Button inside the navigation bar? For example, if I click “SIGN UP!” in this theme (https://avada.theme-fusion.com/hosting/) then it will open the Modal Popup.
2. Can I put the reservation form like this (https://avada.theme-fusion.com/hotel/contact/) in the Modal Popup? Also, the info such as date, number of people and stay need to send to my reservation system.
Actually, I would like to use this theme for our hotel business and It would be great if our customers can access to the booking as simple as possible.

1. Modal can not be opened using a menu navigation, however you can have a text link or a button to open up the modal.
2. Yes, you can put anything in modal and all you have to do is use a 3rd party contact form plugin such as Contact Form 7.

That looks like a customized single page layout, however we do not have anything similar to that at the moment. You will need to make some edits in theme files for this.

Based off your example, you could use the page title bar for the large hero image of each page, then content below it. Here is a quick example of what you could do, and there are other options available. It just depends on the exact look you are going for, sometimes you may need custom styles to get exactly what you want, or you can use the options we offer to make it work how you want, just depends:

Avada is optimized and can be very fast, speed does depend on many factors though, mainly server, content, optimized images, the amount of plugins, size of database, etc … the theme plays a small part.
I did test your site and the #1 issue is your server unfortunately, as it shows on google: http://d.pr/i/1fpZF ... taking almost 3 seconds to respond will drop the score. Have you tried a cache plugin? Also show that to your host as well as it shows the issue.

You should be getting much higher scores indeed. You can see this by testing any one of our demo home pages for speed. They have very good scores.

I am currently using the Sahifa theme and it has a simple built-in hit counter (it is an internal Sahifa feature i.e. independent from any 3rd party stat plugins). Does Avada have a hit counter? I bet it does. Is there any way of migrating hit stats from Sahifa to Avada? If so, what’s the process?

We do not have one built in, however there are various third party plugins out there that can do this for you
For migrating from Sahia, I would not know as it depends on how they have it setup, it would vary. Using a 3rd party plugin for this would be best as it would work with any theme and would not have the issue of transferring stats.

Yes Avada fully supports Ubermenu and we also test it frequently for our customers. It is the most popular megamenun plugin.
There are some others out there our customers use and we have not had reported issues with them, but we do recommend using our built in one (which takes widgets and more along with customization options, or Ubermenu plugin.

The latest version of the Woocommerce plugin is 2.6.4 and it is 100% compatible with Avada 4.0.3

It is good practice and expected that all patches released for a particular version of Avada be applied as and when they are released.
