It depends on where and what. We allow custom icons to be uploaded for a few different areas.

Hi thanks for your answer! So, my client’s web was made with your theme 1 or 2 years ago by another company. Now, we’re working to improve it! Then, I only need to know what is the path to add a customized icons, in order to add it to flip boxes as awesome fonts (just writen a customized name, as actually we do as “fa-heart”, for example). Firstly, let me clarify; Envato introduced paid support and we (ThemeFusion and other authors) had no control, over that.

When you click on that, it just keeps spinning? I just tried it in 3 browsers and checked our system for similar issues and have not found any.
Also, have you tried it from our site? There is a portion in the theme on the Product Registration tab, then we also have the same thing on our site in the “My Account” user dashboard.

I can’t imagine why this would happen as it’s from Envato’s site which are up. Can you also try a different browser? Maybe also try to log out first, then only login when you open the link.

Admin, please, pay attention, if there is a shortcode in woocommerce category description, it does not get updated on theme upgrade from 4.0.3 to 5.0.1 Everything else works like a charm. Even Visual Composer works.

A fresh installation of Avada gives an error upon activation i.e. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/whytecom/public_html/ng/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/class-avada-product-registration.php on line 167 What can i do to resolve this. I just downloaded the latest version.

You will be getting that error because you are running an old version of PHP. Please contact your hosting provider and request that they update your servers PHP version to at least 5.3 or higher and you will be good to go

Hi, thanks for your answer. The first time I used the Auto Update Method; later I recovered the old version and I updated using FTP (activating another theme before doing this) But… “themes.php?page=avada_options” is a white page. So I’ll try to find the way to fix It and if I can’t I will create a support ticket. Thanks a lot.
Hmm yeah something did not upload via FTP it sounds, I’d try to do a full load again. But yes if not, please submit a ticket and our team will check it out and get it resolved for you

I had the same problem with two websites: The first one with Yoast SEO and the second one with All in one SEO pack. I deactivated those plugins and my theme options page was working right. I reinstalled both plugins and all is ok now. Thank you so much.

Is it possible to make a page as nofollow for search engines? Can I just add this somewhere in the code?
i just cant to insert this <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex”> to head section due to some reasons. Is is allowed by the theme options?

The easiest and best way to do this is to use the Yoast SEO plugin -> http://bit.ly/29z96zV – for each page you edit, the plugin gives you the option to exclude/include the page from being indexed for the SERP’s

Hi, I download and installed version 5.0 yesterday and I see that there is a version 5.0.1 now available. Do I need to copy a fresh install via ftp or does the patching under support cover this update?

I applied the patch on the support tab but it didn’t update the Avada Badge to Version 5.0.1, it still says 5.0? Is this right or should it now say 5.0.1?

There are more fixes than that single patch that was released in 5.0.1, we suggest you to please update to our latest 5.0.1 version using either Auto Update or the FTP update please

Ok, I see its a double update, there was a Theme update too which I also applied.
Also, in regard to the theme license. In version 5.0 my previous registration is no longer visible and is replaced with the token input. Do I also need to create a token now for the 5.0 update?
And secondly, do I create a token for each license or do I just apply the same token to all sites? I have numerous sites running Avada.

Yes, anyone who updates to 5.0+ will have to re-register the theme using token again as per this article : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/how-to-register-your-purchase/
Also, you will be needing a different token for each of the license.

Hi, I just upgraded my website from v.3.something to 5.0. I ran the conversion for the pagebuilder, but when I click on a page to edit it, I see all the coding from the Visual composer, but no visual composer. Is this what I am supposed to see? Shouldn’t all the content be automatically converted to the new builder or do i get this wrong? Thanks

Of course, all the content from our previous fusion builder should be converted to our latest fusion builder after succesful conversion, please try and trigger the conversion manually again from Avada > System Status tab

Hello,
I’m trying to record the Avada theme from Wordpress with the new token that I have made with my envato account. I followed step by step the guide but the token it seems not to work. When I try to enter the code it does not appear any error messages but the activation is not done.

This shouldn’t happen, the new token system works perfect. Please check your system status and make sure that wp_remote_get() and post() are not in red if that is the case talk to your server provider to look into this.

Another issue, at least with my site that is, with V5.0.1
My Admin page has slowed down drastically!
I am talking about 4-5 seconds to load the page and about 10 seconds to save the update… To repeat – front end works perfectly and slowdown is related to Admin only!!!
I have done usual steps by disabling plugins… no change until the point I reached FUSION BUILDER plugin.
As soon as I have disabled Fusion Builder, admin area in general started to fly again.
There is clearly nothing we can do about this right now but hopefully with the next updates you will be able to figure out what is causing this

It should actually be opposite of what you stated here, We have completely rebuild Fusion Builder from scratch in this version and the speed is 10x faster than the previous builder, it takes almost no time to load the builder now so there must be something else in play here.
Can you please make sure that your system status limits are all in Green as per the documentation here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/system-status-limits/
Also, make sure that you are on 5.6+ version of PHP from your server, if not then please talk to your server guys and ask them to update your PHP to 5.6+

Heloo, i kow i don;t have any more suport offerd now but i have an incredible issue, i wanted to update the theme to 5.01 and all stashed down becouse the theme updated all shortcodes even if i told it not to make the changes. I am going crazy really and i don;t really have a last back-up i can use to restore the website.

Please let the conversion process run properly, it is needed to work with the 5.0.1 version, if you have not accepted it you will need run the migration manually from Avada > System Status Tab

This should never hapend, i did it manualy and after uploaded the older version of avada you gave the 4.0.3 if i am correct i wanted to start making changes but i can not make changes on the themes becouse they are not taking effect
what should i do so i can eddit the theme settings and be able to save them?

No matter what method you use to update, conversion is required unless you plan on using the older version still that is 4.0.3.
Also a backup is strongly recommended before update as well, this is mentioned in details in our Important Update Info section here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/important-update-information/
