You can actually use our Modal element for this instead and set a trigger for the image to appear in modal, you can use either a text or a button shortcode to trigger modal and this is how it looks.

Yes, you have to change the strings inside the Avada.po file and then rename the file as per your language code, then you need to place it inside wp-content / languages / themes folder.

You’re absolutely correct. The new code base for Avada contains syntax that is only compatible with PHP 5.3 or above. WordPress itself recommends that you use at least PHP 5.6, so we recommend the same.

The reason there was confusion in your ticket is because the way you worded the question could have been interpreted as the speed of the slider, not the text specifically. To add to this, you’re using a 3MB image in your slider, which takes a long time to load and resulted in your assigned support rep assuming that was the issue at hand.

At the moment, the ‘Recent Posts’ element will always use a cropped thumbnail. Depending on how you would like the posts to be layed out on the page, you may wish to try using the ‘Blog’ element instead.

Alternatively, you can use a WordPress hook to remove our default image size and replace it with your own. We have a quick guide on how to use hooks with Avada here:

Hmm, so the image URL is broken, not the URL to the portfolio item itself? The update should not have changed your image URL’s at all. If you inspect the image URL, does it have a “-1” appended to the end of the file name? Also, if you open the Media Library in your WordPress dashboard, do the images display correctly?

Thanks for the reply. It’s not the image url that’s broken. The portfolio page shows all the portfolio items, but when you click into one, it flips a 404. For every single portfolio item. If it links out to a post page, it’s fine.

I submitted a ticket, but was bummed I had to pay $42 for support when it seems like a theme issue :-\ Oh well. Hopefully they can get to the ticket soon, I just sent my portfolio out to some people…

I believe you are talking about the tabs widget, changing the default tab title will require you to customize theme files actually, or you can simply use translation technique to do so and change (translate) the strings to your own strings.

This particular error you are getting indicates that your Fusion Builder as well as Fusion Core needs to be updated to latest version. Please make sure you are on latest versions of plugins, if you are on 5.0.2 the FB version should be 1.0.2 and Fusion core should be 3.0.2

What do you mean by ‘Hide the Avada menu’? If you need to completely remove it from the page, you would need to edit the Avada template files and comment out the code that renders the menu. If you just need to hide it from view, the recommended method would be to use CSS.

Sorry to hear you are having this trouble, that should not be happening.

This is a situational issue with 5.0, can you please delete the 5.0 files totally (theme, fusion core, fusion builder) remove them. Then reinstall 5.02 and make sure it is 5.0,2 along with Fusion Core 3.0,2 and Fusion Builder 1.0.2

Once you delete the old, then just install Avada 5.0.2 theme folder, it will prompt you to install fusion core and fusion builder.
