Hi there,
I have a colour display issue. My uploaded images all loose their saturation when they get displayed. I put the original file against the one on the website and they are completely different and seem to have a grey layer on top that really dulls down the vibrancy .
Also, I could not figure out yet, how to change the order of my images in the gallery???
You can use drag&drop to re order images within the gallery.
Hi, myDnos here I posted a couple of pages back.
I am working a site http://www.miltonkeynesstudio.com/ and I have added in a text part at the bottom, which works really well, only problem is you cant scroll down without using the scrollbar. Instead, it scrolls the slider.
Any ideas on how to negate the slider scroll and make the mouse-wheel scroll the page up/down?
Please don’t say “this would require a customization which costs extra” If you could just point me in the right direction then I will be able to go on from there.

Yes, it’s custom modification. The main javascript file of theme is /js/custom.js
Can you a least tell me where you have disabled scroll for the theme? I can’t find anything to do with scrolling in custom.js
Hi Have noticed that the scroll works on Firefox but not chrome or internet explorer, would you have an idea on anything that Firefox does different to allow this?
Perhaps a class it doesn’t recognise or Java script file it doesn’t allow. Or maybe prioritise certain properties before others?
Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
I figured out most of that; I didn’t have ‘galleries’ selected in screen options. I now have a gallery added to site, beyond homepage. Question though is: 2, 3 and 4 col aren’t working on Core blog/portfolio settings, they show white dashes for the columns and not images – when you click the dashes the images pop up, but they’re not appearing. The setting “thumbs” works but they’re too small and don’t show content. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thx..

Hi there, great theme. I’m developing the site here: http://174.36.179.67/~robertag/. I can’t seem to add the portfolio. I want to use 3 col style. I’ve created a portfolio and added featured images to it and a gallery but how do I call to the portfolio on one of my pages? Also, when I set homepage for full screen, I’m not getting slider thumbs at bottom, and in Menus, I’m not getting “gallery” column, only Pages. Any idea on these? Thanks!

I wound up having to make custom links in order to link to the galleries. There is no where in the menus area to directly assign the galleries to a menu.
Also, I don’t think I know how the portfolios are supposed to work. They don’t seem to do anything?

1. Please check. There might be javascript conflict between theme’s script and plugin’s script. Try to disable all plugins
2. If you can’t see it, click on screen option (top right) and check on galleries.
3. Portfolio is support more content type ex. video, but gallery support only image content.
The screen options fixed the issues I was having with the menus, it would be really nice to have that information in the readme file.
As for the view fullwscreen issue, disabling plugins did not work. The only plugin I had active was the WP Importer and I have not added any javascript to the theme myself. Any other ideas here? I notice my theme goes to mode=f which I was guessing was fullscreen (http://kevinwardphoto.com.s93294.gridserver.com/kwp/?gallery=weddings&mode=f), however, your demo theme doesn’t appear to go there.
I have also noticed that the theme doesn’t really work on phones. Any ideas on a work around there?

2. For some reason all of your fullscreen image return “not found” and that cause the issue. May be some of your server setting?

1. I must have not seen it or not understood the first time. I see the line about screen options now.
2. This may be 2 different issues a)clicking on an image and having it pop-up in a light box- the theme thinks the images are in the root and gives an error b/c it’s looing for the images in the wrong place. This is odd because in wordpress settings I have assigned WP to the kwp folder. The theme knows the pages are in the kwp folder but not the images. I don’t see a way in the core admin area to set where to look for files. Do you know a work around for this?
b)When you click on the “View Fullscreen” button, It goes black, I get a loading wheel, the thumbs show up on the bottom of the page if I move the cursor, but the large image never shows up in the lightbox. I guess this could also be because the theme is trying to pull form the root and not from within the kwp folder, but I don’t get an error it just hangs there like it is trying to load.

a)If you go to this ‘http://kevinwardphoto.com.s93294.gridserver.com/kwp/?gallery=weddings/' link and click on a photo you will get this error “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.” I get this error because $image_url0 which appears to be set by $photo->guid is somehow ignoring the fact that I have WP in a subdirectory.

I think it might because some miss configuration on site URL when you install your Wordpress.
I would recommend you to re install your Wordpress.

Great theme. Just purchased yesterday and it is up and running already. One question. Is it possible to have the footer present on the homepage when I am using the fullscreen gallery mode? Now I have the usual header but the footer is replaced by thumbnails. I don’t really need the thumbnails here but I really want the footer (with the copyright info) to show up.

Hi Pete, love the theme and it is working as I want it to very beautifully so far. I have a question, is there any way to scroll through the images using Flow with the images as a slidebar themselves not just clicking on the image to center it on that one but as if the row of images was a slide, instead of using the slide bar below, I am asking because that would make it much more user friendly on iPhone or mobile devices. Thanks for the help and again for the great theme!
It’s too bad that the homepage flow style slider on this theme doesn’t work on the iPad or iPhone, because we definitely like the design!

I’ve encountered an issue. By a mistake I activated a different theme for my wordpress website, I changed it back to your template but now my menu and images are not working.

1. Portfolio doesn’t drop-down – although the menues are created 2. Under Download – no images are visible. 3. Under Blog images aren’t showing either.
If you refresh the site you can sometimes quickly see the image but then, it disappears again.

I found the issue. I have the extension entitled Tampermonkey installed so I can use a different extensions entitled The Cavern Links Checker.
If I disable Tampermonkey – my website works fully again.

I can change the headers and the menu font, but I want to change the normal page font using Cufon. I understand I cant change it using the adminpanel but there must be a file in the theme where I can add this or? For example: I want to use GoodDog_400.font.js as normal page font instead of Helvetica.
You might have to add your Cufon code in theme main javascript file /js/custom.js
That works but I it still uses the same font as the one I set in adminpanel, I want to use a different. If I put Cufon.replace(’.special’) I want it to show another font than the headers. I tried Cufon.replace(’.special’, { fontFamily: ‘Santana’ }); but i doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Hello guys
Just to say you I have found a tips for use differents gallery type on the same website For example you can now have a gallery with flow, one other with 1 column, etc…
It makes few days I try it ! But I’m not developper or expert in PHP ! It’s very easy, I give you an example :
In my case I would like to have a Gallery 1 with “Thumbs” and Gallery 2 with “Flow” for example.
- Just duplicate the switcher.php file for each gallery you want, and give it a new name. (BE Carefull : Don’t erase the original file) : you now have switcher_gal01.php and switcher_gal02.php ! Don’t touch the original file called switcher.php !!!
- Now go in your html or text editor for edit these 2 new files ! Do that for each file, each one corresponding to a gallery :
Go to the line 3 and replace the adress by your website root : ex. $pp_url = ‘http://www.jabiroedison.com/';
Now go to line 8 and replace by giving your gallery name you create in WP Admin ! (you can see the gallery name in your permalink gallery)
example : $pp_url.’?gallery=gallery-01’ ) ;
Do the same for each gallery you have created.
- Now go in Menus on your WP admin and create a “Custom link” and enter that :
http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-content/themes/Core/switcher_gal01.php?pp_portfolio_style=XReplace ‘yourwebsite’ by your website root (the same you enter in your switcher.php copy ! Replace ‘switcher_gal01.php’ by the name of your switcher.php copy ! And for finish replace the ‘X’ by the type or gallery you want
(without quotes) :
‘t’ for Thumbnails
‘2’ for 2 Columns
‘3’ for 3 Columns
‘4’ for 4 Columns
‘flow’ for Image Flow
And just replace all your galleries links by using this method !

Example you can display title in fancy box Flow ! But not in Thumbnails !

I want to buy this but would you be able to fix the portfolio page fullscreen menu? If you click on “View Fullscreen” the menu does not appear (the menu at the top and the thumbnails at the bottom of the page while in fullscreen mode). Sometimes it will appear if i move the mouse around a lot, but most of the time it dont work. You have to move the mouse cursor out of the browsers window area, then back on to the browser and then the fullscreen menu works properly.
I’ve tried this with IE9 , FF7, Opera and Chrome 15. I also tried it on other computers, and it has the problem on any computer i try and with any of those browsers.

You can add your image to gallery then manage gallery structure via Appearance > menus.
