Hi, we have updated our site automatically to newest version of Avada, and we want to know how is possible to update it automatically. I mean can we disable it for the future? What was wrong before?

I am not sure i understood your query properly, however Auto Update should work just fine for you as soon as you have registered your product you should get an update notification and then you should be able to go ahead and update using simple 1 click method.
Auto updates can not be disabled but what you can do is simply not update the theme in future (if that is what you want) and ignore the update notification.

I have purchased AVADA right here ==> https://themeforest.net/item/avada-responsive-multipurpose-theme/2833226 at Themeforest. I am a registered user of AVADA too. Actually I am running Avada 4.0.3 I have being updating Avada directly within WordPress as usual since several time with no problems at all until now. RIGHT NOW avada 5.0 is released and ready to download but I dont get it updated within Wordpress. WordPress tells me that my theme is up-to-date (4.0.3) BUT that is not true because the latest version of avada is 5.0 or even greater BTW As you should know Avada only runs with WordPress.
Please, I need some help concerning this issue. Thank you.

Please double check your System Registration tab from Avada > System Register and make sure that your product is register, if its not than please go ahead and register using this article : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/register-purchase-avada-version-4-0-3-lower/
Once you register successfully please go to WP Dashboard > Update Tab and try clicking on this button multiple times

Hi, as I sad previously my AVADA Theme is registered CORRECTLY and I have being updating it online within WP in the past without any problems. Actually I am running version 4.0.3 of Avada. And as I sad previously NOW I don´t get any UPDATE notification within WorfPress concerning the lastest Avada version (Ver.5 x.x.x). This is the point! What´s wrong guys? Must I register once again or what?. Please report back. THX.

Also, comments here are mainly for pre-sales questions, for actual theme support you should submit a ticket to our staff which is faster, and more efficient.
What you see is not correct, Avada 5.0.2 is the latest version. We’re not sure why you do not see it in the WP backend, but we will gladly help you via a ticket.
Where are you looking for the auto updates? If you are registered correctly as it states then it should be under “Dashboard > Updates” in your WP admin area, right up at the top like this: http://d.pr/i/1eaCy
If you do not see that, then something is either off with your registration, or something else is interfering. For us to help further, we’d need to take a look at your install, signup at our support center and submit a new ticket.
Our support team will gladly help! 
Or you can simply download v5.0.2 from your Themeforest downloads page here https://themeforest.net/downloads ... then install it via WP or FTP as noted above. once on v50 you do need to register again. Why is that? Because Envato has changed their API, and 5.0 moving forward uses their new one and only requires a single token to register. But that is after you update.
So at this point you can either …
1. Submit a ticket and we can check why updates are not showing for you, and help you get updated.
2. Download Avada v5.0.2 from your Themeforest downloads page here https://themeforest.net/downloads ... then install it via WP or FTP as noted above.

I cannot open any ticket because as you should know I am not able to get ticket-support actually! And I dont want to pay for ONE support-ticket because of this update issue which isnt my problem. This is not my fault. Again, running Avada versions 3 & 4 I could always update online (within WP) to minor and major versions. I have always recived update notifications in the past for those versions!
Right now I don´t get it anymore! Why? I don´t know. BTW, can update Wordpress itself everytime but NOT your theme (I mean from version 4.0.3 to the latest version 5.0.2)
Please note: I know exactly which button I have to press to get Themes and plugins updated within Wordpress. The ONLY problem is that right now I DON´T GET ANY UPDATES NOTITICATION CONCERNING YOUR AVADA THEME! So it means that I can t update your theme. NOPS, NEVER!!!! This is the main problem!
However, I dont want to update AVada via FTP because I have working on my website for one year now and I dont want to overwrite the Layout and all the crap I have built till now. In this case I will keep an outdated version of Avada (Ver.4.0.3) Anyway I´d like to thank you for you help. Thank you.

I can assure you that our Auto Update feature works just fine and good, if its not working for you (however you stated that it used to work earlier) there must be something wrong, it could be a server side change that is causing the updates to not work and most of the times generating an placing a new API key inside the registration form and then “Force checking for updates” using the button i mentioned in my previous comment fetches the update for you.
However if you have tried all that and still unable to get Auto Update in that case you can always update using manual FTP method as per the Luke’s response above.
One thing to clear about FTP update method is this. Its same as auto update and it will / should never wipe out your website content / theme options or any other thing, all of that is stored in database and FTP files (theme files) are stored in your wp-content folder, that is the only thing that gets replaced during an update (FTP method or Auto)
However you can always create a backup and then update so you are 100% certain about it

Hi friends, i have a one question…¿why apple iphone create a bottom shadow of revo slider? in chrome and safari this shadow is present but in android is perfect… i dont want this shadow… why apple do this? i dont understand.. any help?

If you want to disable the Revolution slider shadows, this can be done from the slider setting itself inside the Visual tab : http://prntscr.com/cy7fi6

Good day, I need some assistance. Where is the documentation for this theme? Im really finding it hard to use with out a how to use file. Now i have uploaded and imported the theme and loaded the photography demo and now i need to upgrade some crap when i go to the home page and try edit it.

Avada should work with any version of PHP from 5.4 and above. WordPress themselves recommend PHP 5.6, but you shouldn’t encounter any issues using PHP 7 on your server.

Hi there. I have been using this awesome theme for a while now and I’m really happy and highly recommend it. Recently I checked this page on an iPad (vertical orientation) and the embedded code in the columns doesn’t work. The form shows up, but I’m unable to input any text; just unresponsive, as well as not able to use the PayPal button. Only on iPad @ vertical orientation. I’ve tried it on two different iPads. Horizontal orientation works fine. All other devices work fine as well (computer, phone; apple and android). Is this a bug in the template or something wrong on my page? Thanks in advance!

This seems to be an issue with your page, not the Avada theme. It looks like your last 1/1 column is overlapping the content on the iPad. It’s difficult to know why this is happening from the front end, I think we’ll need to login and take a look.

I believe the modal that contains the contact form can be found in one of the text widgets assigned to the footer. You can find these widgets in your WordPress Dashboard- > Appearance -> Widgets. From there, you will need to edit the contents/HTML to display your own image.

Hi My Name is Enes i ve just realized my support expired. Until i renew support, could you please quick help me about something ? my h1 title font style is doesnt match with my Post Title. I mean my post title is h1 right now and when i want to change the color of post title, i can not do that in the theme options. İs there any other way to fix it ?

That is because post titles does not use H1 but H2 instead, we use H1 for our Page Title bar area instead and we have a separate font size area for post titles which can be found inside Theme Options > Typography > Post Title font Size

Hi, I’m using the Classic Shop theme and created a Blank page to use as a sales page.
However, it’s not acting responsive on mobile. I have to scroll left and right to see the full content.

This should never happen and the page should be responsive on its own without you needing to scroll, I want you to please go to theme Options > Responsive Tab and make sure that its enabled for you from there.

Hello,
I currently have Avada 5.0.1 when updating to 5.0.2 the whole site crashes and i get an internal 500 server error & http 500 server code, I have applied all the patches in 5.0.1 before updating and still get this error any ideas why this is happening?

Hi there, I would like to add a blog to my website. My question: can I protect just the blog with password and username? if yes, how could I do that? Other one: I’d like to advertise a Portfolio item on the front page including images and a bit text. Would it make sense to use a slider with text and link it to a subpage of the portfolio or should I use a pop-up element… I am looking for a solution, that does not change much of my layout at the moment (top slider (/ text in the middle)... I suggest you use a standard page and add a blog shortcode to it. Then you protect that page with a password with the WordPress native function for it.
Regarding the portfolio item: both would make sense, depends a bit on what you like better, but both will work.

Just a head’s up that both the 5.0.2 auto update in WP and manual FTP upload are throwing errors and breaking my site.
class-avada-autoload.php is looking for class-avada-social-sharing.php but it’s now in the “social/“ folder

This sounds a lot like old and new installation files were mixed up. The error refers to files that are not present in Avada 5.0.2 at that locations, which is a clear indicator of this.
So this issue is unique to your install and not a general issue.

Thanks, I put in a ticket last night after I posted this.
I have only had this theme for about 2 weeks … no customizations … straight install for the version previous to 5.0.
The auto update to 5.0.1 went perfectly smooth last week. It’s the auto update to 5.0.2 that broke.
I might try again today, but please be sure to look for my support ticket and let me know if you are going to hop in and take a look at the files. 
Yep, totally fresh install and still breaking. I’ll look for your help on support ticket 121320. I’m not sure how a brand new site can already be causing issues, but I hope you can get the update done manually this time!

Is there a way to get the logo to move ALL the way to the left (no padding), so that is would look like it’s toucheing the edge of the browser screen? I’m using header 1.

If you want to have just the logo extend to the very edge of the browser, but nothing else than you will need to either:
a) Set your header width to ‘100%’ in your Theme Options -> Header -> Header Styling -> 100% Header Width. This will also move your menu to the edge of the screen.
b) Use custom CSS to position the logo further to left, outside of the wrapping container.
I would recommend option ‘a’ if that will work for you. Alternative, you can find a quick start guide for custom CSS in this article of our documentation:
