Can I install and use addons for the visual composer that came with this theme ?

I’m having two small issues when prototyping a site based on the product demo template:

1. when I add a button with an icon, the off-canvas menu gets screwed up (doesn’t hide the header or dot navigation when it slides out; adds bullets to the menu items)

2. using gravity forms, the date picker field has odd formatting. The month and year dropdowns reflow and are 100% width of date picker div. Issue remains whether I chose “inherit from theme skin” or “minimal” in the form style options. Also, the fancy checkboxes don’t look quite right when selected.

Hello, its a pre-purchase question. Regarding the demos you have. Does it import with all the files images, settings, layout, etc. I guess my question is can you import a demo and hope to see exactly what you have in your demos. I would change the images etc. It’s just good to have stock for resolution etc.

Hello, I was editing the header on my Home page. On the header menu i have 4 different custom links. On the header navigation menu i selected the animated effect “underline”, but the “icons” are always underlined on the home page. there is no underline animation when i mouse over. Same goes if i choose color change.

Hey something not really funny is happening. My transparent header works fine on a >1300px screen but in the 1300-1000px query it remains transparent. why is that happening?

1. More social icons 2. More social icon skins/design 3. Light social share icons for a dark background 4. Hover effect on single images 5. Better speed optimization, less server requests. Can you combine a few css/js files together to save requests? (Its not only about cache plugins when it comes to speed optimization. There is a lot of room for it on this theme that can be used to optimize the theme for speed. This is also a good selling point for you guys, we benefit, you benefit.) So please consider speed optimization very seriously please! 6. Nofollow option on text and image links (on everything that has a link) 7. More menu skins, especially for mega-menu. 8. Breadcrumb navigation (Good for SEO, accessibility and usability) 9. CSS Sprites option for icons 10. The Tabs and the Accordion on mobile do not look nice and attractive, especially when you have a lot of tabs and/or using long titles for the tab names. They look very ugly and unorganized on mobile. It would be nice to see a fix for that. 11. More pricing table skins/designs 12. It would be nice to control the font size for mobile screens in the Salient’s Typography section. Sometimes for mobile we need smaller or larger fonts and giving us these options in the settings will speed up the custom coding process a lot. 13. Avoid serving scaled images. This really slows down the site and is not a proper way of coding.

Hi, I enabled the default search on Salient theme. It opens a full page search bar when the search icon is clicked. How do I change the height, etc of the search bar.

Hi, Can you give me an answer? On our website’s homepage the the page heade image is nog shown good on the mobile site. It is to big, it looks like it doesn’t adjust for the mobile site.

Any idea?

Hi Themenectar! I’ve searched for answers, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to nest rows. When I create a row, say, with two colums and then inside one of them, click the plus sign to add another row inside of it, the option for Row in the VC is just not there. What am I missing here??

There is a row with a ‘touch enabled & spaced’ image slider with a background colour for that row #2C2F38. Directly below it, is a single image of a screen and this image has the same background colour #2C2F38 done in Photoshop (if you save the image on your computer you can check the background colour)...

When you look at the page, you can clearly see these 2 rows have different colours! Neither row has a background color/gradient applied. Somehow the touch slider row changes background to the single image row?

I have noticed this on a few other installations of Salient sometimes when colour matching row backgrounds to images …

Is there something I’m doing wrong causing this? Thank you!

Hi, I need some help. I am trying to add a custom font to Salient Typography. So I can use it in Salient admin panel v7.5.02 for styling general html elements. But my font doesn’t shows up in font family dropdown list. Font files were added to salient\css\fonts folder. And were imported through @font-face in salient general settings css/script related in custom css code field

After updating WooCommerce to 2.6.6 the cart wasn’t showing at all so we maxed out the PHP and it seemed fine. The process is working and the checkout looks fine, but the “basket/cart” page has an overlap of the shipping label and the coupon entry box.​ The shipping options show a price that appear to not be visible on the page at all.

I was create portfolio page with options Enable Sortable / Infinite Scroll / Projects Per Page – 40. When I come on this page, I see 40 portfolio items. If I choose a one category, then at the same time I can see only a few works (It can be just a one item). In order to items became more necessary to scroll it. Hi, I am using google maps, and upon adding shortcode into a text block, it is only on half of the page, I can set it to either be on top, middle or bottom. When I use Full width content + Full height (row position), it resizes to full screen only after I drag and change my browser size. Any way to have a workaround?
