Answer: Listify does allow you to import listings for your website. This is done with the WP All Import plugin. See the following article: How to Import Listings Using WP All Import

Answer: This article should provide you with good insight on what you can do: If I create hundreds of listings will there be a significant slowdown in the loading time on my website?

Ok I understand, now for the rating part. Can the listing rating be imported instead of being part of reviews written by customers?
I’m asking because each listing has a government rating that I don’t want reviews to modify.

I understand that via the WP Job Manager Field Editor we can decide to display fields or not depending on the package.
Now, what constitutes a field? If we want a button to “contact seller” or “book an appointment”, are they considered field?
Let’s say only paid subscriptions display a “contact” button.

You will be able to import reviews as well. That should not be an issue. The only issue, if you import reviews, you can’t have two separate reviews. One for Government ratings and one for users. You can simply disable reviews altogether if you wish.
The fields you see on the /Submission Form page, can be hidden using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. This includes the Contact email field, and if you wish to sell products, the Product field provided by the Products plugin. So yes those would be considered fields.
You can hide those fields according to the package you wish. So the free package may not have those fields but they will be available for a premium package.

Hi I would like to know if there’s a plugin or extension that would allow us to have kind of a discussion or Q&A on each listing instead of reviews. Clients would be able to ask questions and the listing owner would be able to answer these questions IF logged in.

There currently is no plugin that allows this. You can disable the rating feature and just have a comment section for listings. You can also setup a contact form where a user can contact the listing owner.

Would the listing owners be able to reply on a “comment”? With the poster being notified.
Listing Owners can reply back, but there would not be a notification sent out, unfortunately.

Ok I understand.
Now when it comes to the “contact owner” form that I will have to create, is there a way to display it on the listing depending on which package the listing owner chose?
Example: Package #1 is free and doesn’t include the contact owner form. Package #2 is a premium package which includes the form.
Also, how would I get the Verified Owner element on a listing, is that a premium plugin?

By default, it is not possible. The only way to do so is by hiding the “contact email/URL” using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. Hiding this filed for will hide the contact form. You can customize the fields of a submission form for each package using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.
You can add the Verified Owner tag when a listing is claimed. See here: Claim a Listing

Ok I understand! Any way of making users create an account to be able to use the Contact Listing Owner Form?
Would be cool to have a “You must be logged in to contact the listing owner”. That way I don’t need to make fields for ALL the data I need to collect from users.

You can use this as a way to hide the contact form from users who are not logged in. Using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-visibility/ you can hide the form widgets for people who are signed out.

You can edit fields and make them require by using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. If you wish to set a default header image in case a user does not upload one have a look at this article: Set a Default Image for All Listings

You can first Create Listing Packages and add all the features it contain. From there, using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin you can hide each field accodring tho the listing package.
For example, the free package does not display image upload, video upload, while the other paid packages would contain these fields.

Answer: Unfortunately, Listify does not have support for the EventOn plugin or have we tested it out with our theme ourselves.
Question: 2) Do you have clients using your theme alongside EventOn plugging?
Answer: Unfortunately, I have not come across a user website that uses the plugin.
Question: 3) Is yout theme compatible with WPML?
Answer: Currently the Polylang plugin allows you to create a bilingual or multilingual WordPress site. We are currently promoting the Polylang plugin instead of WPML until the developer of WP Job Manager says that the plugin supports WPML.

If you are thinking of using the WooCommerce Bookings plugin, it will only allow for submissions to be done through the backend at this time.

Is it possible to send listing details like address, contact numbers, business hours etc to mail?
Is it possible to show current business hours details in search page, like if visitor search for any listing it shows “Open” or “Closed” label in the search page based on Business hours details.

As for displaying whether a listing is open or closed on the listing card, that is currently not possible. You can display additional details to listing cards(see here) but to have the text adjust according to the hour would require customization.

Hi! Looks like a great theme! Just wondering is there a way of adding a calendar alongside the Geo location option on search in the hompeage header? Or a way of selecting a date? And can you explain the process or recommend a plugin please before I proceed with the purchase?

There is currently no date filter available, but additional filter can be integrated using the FacetWP plugin. This will allow you to create custom filters to search listings on your website.

At this time the only plugin we recommend for creating custom filter would be theFacetWP plugin. We have not used any alternate plugin to add filters.

Thanks. Can you also advise if there’s a way of linking up the theme with a booking system for booking individual listings at an hourly rate? This should be linked with the Opening Hours entered by new signups where booking requests get a message if they’re already booked or unavailable via entered Opening Hours for that time and date. I’m looking to achieve a booking system similar to Hassle.com. Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

This problem was already addressed in a previous support as you can see it in the mails (that time was the button that duplicated) and it got solved now its the same problem… but with the subtitle. So the bug is the same and it wasn’t permanently solved. Just need instruction how to permanently solve the problem.. Kindest regards Hugo

When a new user signs up they get an email which is sent from wordpress@domainname.com to confirm their new listing. Is there any way I can change this so that it doesn’t come from Wordpress and/or aybe has my website name instead?

Currently, there is no Carousel feature for listings outside the Listings page. You can add a Slider to your listing’s header like in our demo. This can be achieved through the settings.

I am planning a vacation rental booking website with 1.000 listings.
I have some open questions and I would appreciate if you could give me some answers on those.
1. Booking option: as for now there isn’t something available yet. I am considering the plugin WooCommercebookings. The user should be able to make a booking request and receive confirmation up on approval of property (airbnb style). Also for the transaction amount – I would like to display a price + 10 % and take the 10 % as a downpayment. The rest of the amount will be paid upon arrival. Do you know by any chance if this model is available to integrate or is it better to ask with woocommerce directly? You maybe have a different operator by any chance?
2. Different room categories: within one listing I have different room categories, is it possible to offer different rooms with different prices within one listing?
3. Pricing: is it possible to maintain different prices, f.e. seasonal, weekly, monthly? Also, I would have different prices for different rooms (and book them – assuming this depends on the plugin)
4. Several layouts for several countries: is it possible to create a page for every country and filter by regions within the country? So f.e. the user comes to the website and choses first the country he wants to have the listings displayed (I am currently seeking for 3 countries)
5. I want the Listings managed internally. Also the first load will be through an import. Is it also possible to upload a video and a 360 degree picture with every listing?
6. Additional services: I would like to implement additional services into the website, f.e. transport to/from accommodation, tours in the area, etc. Would you recommend using a plugin from there or start a different website with this services and connect after?
7. Do you offer service packages / account manager packages on a monthly base?

Answer: It is possible to set a range of dates for a booking products with different rates. You can see this example here: WooCommerce Accommodation for Bookings
NOTE: As mentioned for your first question, I would definitely advise you contact the developers of the WooCommerce Bookings plugin as they can give you more in-depth information regarding their plugin.

Answer: You can set the Page: Image Grid to display Listing Regions which can be your countries.
You can also create Landing Pages for each specific country.

Answer: You can definitely upload your own listings and manage them yourself. See here: How to Import Listings Using WP All Import link text
At this time there is no setting to upload videos only video URLs and regular image as there is no support for 360 images.

Answer: At this time Listify does not offer a solution like that or have tested a plugin that provides that sort of feature.

This theme looks really nice. I have question before I buy your theme. Why mobile version of single listing page, part Photo Gallery, when you open image full screen can’t be switched to second image?

At this time it is not possible when a mobile device’s orientation is set to Portrait. Although not possible in a portrait mode, the widget should adjust and allow you to change the images if you change your mobile orientation to Landscape.
