Hi, I’m using Fortuna, and I’m finding some issues while changing the Copyright text color. I’ve found (hopefully) the right section (Theme option – styling – footer) and I’m trying to change it. While the page loads, during the very first moment it seems to work, but after that it turns gray (i.e. the default color) again. Where am I wrong? Thank you!

I’m afraid we need to take a look at your website, to see what exactly causing it. We can’t find the solution when we don’t see it. So please open a ticket in the support desk and let our support staffs debug the issue on your website.

It may cause by a custom CSS or a third party plugin.

Hello!

You guys aware of any issues with chrome app (android) that makes some element flickers after scrolling vertically? It’s not the whole site that flickers, it’s only some elements in a grid built with VC.

I tested native internet app and firefox app and this behavior doesn’t happen. So I guess chrome is the problem but I just want to be sure.

Never mind I fixed it. As expected, it was a gpu chrome issue. Just had to add: -webkit-transform: translateZ(0); -moz-transform: translateZ(0); -ms-transform: translateZ(0); -o-transform: translateZ(0); transform: translateZ(0); -webkit-perspective: 1000; -moz-perspective: 1000; -ms-perspective: 1000; perspective: 1000;

To force the gpu rendering.

I think my “WPBakery Visual Composer (Modified Version)” is expired. What to do? I can not make any changes to the website.

The Artbees modified version of the VC plugin will not expire, it only needs to be the latest compatible version.

For you, since you are using an old version of Jupiter, I recommend you to update your theme to the latest current version first, then update VC plugin. But since updating from version 4.x to 5.x requires re-creation of the pages in some cases, you may want to keep your website using the latest legacy version of the theme, which is included in the downloaded package from ThemeForest (4.4.5).

Then you can freely update the VC and everything would work again.

Actually, there is no way that WordPress recognize the place that the image would be used, so it creates all the images sizes when an image uploads. However, we are working to fix this issue, but it’s somehow needs more time to be resolved. Sorry for that.

I have a problem with the theme right after the cache is cleared in the browser. Then surfing through the site, everything works great, and it loads fast. But when the browser is cleared and people go to the website for the first time after the cleared cache, the home page doesn’t load (or at least most of it doesn’t load).

The header and footer load, as do bits and pieces of the website, but not the background images, nor the Google maps, for example, nor some of the icons.

But when I click on the home page again, it loads really fast, and everything works perfectly. But when the browser is cleared, I again can’t load the home page fully. Several of my clients have reported this as well.

I’ve spoken to my hosting company about this and have created two different tickets over a week and a half, but they can’t find a solution.

Also, when the background photo is trying to load, I noticed that when I click on “Inspect” in Firefox, it brings up:

I think it has something to do with the preloader, expect my preloader is off. Is there a way to make sure the entire website loads properly after the browser is cleared? Thanks.

I believe something is wrong in wp-content/uploads/mk_assets folder. Please make sure it has the sufficient permissions (755) including the files within.

Also, you may check the .htaccess rules to make sure it does not prohibit requesting the files inside that folder.

You may deactivate Intelligent Components Technology from Jupiter -> Theme Options -> Advanced and see if it helps.

Hi. i just followed the steps above, but I still have this problem. Although I did notice that it’s only a problem in Chrome and Firefox, but not necessarily IE.

Also, the site is also on Cloudflare, where they have minification of CSS and Java. Could the minification of these in the Jupter theme be conflicting with the minification of CSS and Java on Cloudflare? Thanks.

I’ve just updated Jupiter and I’m getting the following message displayed everywhere there’s a Widget – “Warning: Missing argument 4 for mk_filter_native_widgets() in citsolutions.edu.au/training/wp-content/themes/jupiter/framework/functions/widgets-filter.php on line 84” – The widgets are still being displayed but now accompanied by this message above them. Why is this message suddenly appearing?

It actually needs to be debugged on your website, so it would be great if you open a ticket in the support desk. However, I would suggest to navigate to that file and on line 84, replace this:

function mk_filter_native_widgets( $widget_output, $widget_type, $widget_id, $sidebar_id ) {

with this

function mk_filter_native_widgets( $widget_output, $widget_type, $widget_id, $sidebar_id = '') {

and see if it fixes.

However, this warning can be ignored, but better to be investigated on your website first.

Hi! I already bought your theme twice. Its great. I have a question. I have a hosting that allows to use my account with more than one domain, addon domain in the same hosting and same domain. I was wondering if i have to buy again the theme, or i can use the one that i am already using in that account. Thanks

You can use it on an unlimited number of website, in one domain, they just have to be in one domain only. It is possible to do that via subdomains or folders.

Yes, it’s just how the Jupiter works. You can start your design from scratch, or import any of the templates and change their contents.

Yes, you actually can. Just set the boxed layout from the page option and then change your main content width in the theme options to 800.

If for any reason this workaround is not suitable for you, just add a custom class to the page section container of the blog element and then assign the width using Custom CSS in Theme Options -> Advanced -> Custom CSS.

Hello. I can not run the plugin LayerSlider version 6.x with the theme “Jupiter”. I tried to adjust the advanced settings, but still doesn’t work. However, 5.x worked well.

Please only use the Layer Slider plugin from the theme package. They are free of charge and compatible with the theme. Each time and update releases, we check for the incompatibility and include the latest compatible version with our theme release.

I need to hide/remove the ”?” icon on the FAQ sections. I’ve tried the css below (It hides it on size 1170px and higher, but still shows the icon on smaller devices):

I’ve also tried tried adding the @media and sizes with no success. Please advise.

Can you give me a hand with the product image sizes please? I’ve left the product loop at 550×550 as suggested but the main product image looks out-of-focus and pretty horrible on a retina screen. I’ve tried uploading at double size but this seems to cause issues with the small product image when looking at all products.

Actually, the best advice is only possible when seeing the situation, for this one, I recommend you double size the image at product loop or change the image to be a custom size from Jupiter -> Image Sizes and see if the issue persists.

Bug report with Gravity Forms:

When sending a form with an attachment in gravity forms using Jupiter (without any plugins except gravity forms), the attachment can’t be openend. The url gives a 503.

My hoster, Savvii, found out that this is the issue:

The theme file /framework/functions/dynamic-styles.php (line: 1751), contains the following code:
            // minify html
            $output = $this->minify_html($output);

The carriage return characters aren’t send with the minified version created on the code quoted before. This creates a 503 error (Content-Length header).

Actually, it’s not a bug, since we didn’t have any similar issue, so it needs to be investigated on your website, and without a login credential we can’t tell you exactly what is causing it.

But you may follow the troubleshooting steps from here and see if you can detect the issue is happening on which step, that would be great.

Already went through all the troubleshoot things; but the only things which fixes the issue is the ‘Intelligent Components Technology’ toggle.

Also on our develop site at another host the same issue appears.
