You can change the color of the header and sticky header from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header. Here you can find all the header color options.

Hi, I am considering purchase of the Porto for a long time. I have the following question. I am going to use A2 hosting and found that you are using also the A2 but the manage VPS account. I am considering the turbo account from the shared wordpress plans. The question is if I have the porto theme with 1000 products how much will be the approximate number of files or inodes. The a2 is limited to 600 000 inodes?

Thank you for your interest in Porto. Yes we are using A2 Hosting and for 1000 products your turbo account would be sufficient, we cant estimate nodes as it has various factors to consider. But looks like you will be all good to go (600000 inodes are enough).

You can also re-confirm this from A2 Hosting. Products are basically just database entries.

Confused. I go into the backend of the site and click on the Porto Theme Options. And add in a BACKGROUND header graphic. and it NEVER shows up on the website. Confused. any ideas? Can I just add a custom CSS code for a background on the header instead?

No there is no need to use the custom CSS for header background. Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header. Here you find the Header background image option to upload the image.

I would like to edit the product page layout. I am using a top navigation, and the product page is 2 column by default with some advertisements and featured products in the left column.

Is there any way to edit this page without modifying the template, if so could you please tell me how to change it to a single column page?

Yes, you can change the layout of the product page from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Single Product. Here you can find all the layout options of the single product pages.

You can disable all of the products options from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Catalog Mode Enable the catalog mode and then you will find all the options below.

I thiknk you are talkin about the right sidebar where the featured products widget has been added. You can remve it or changed it from Appearance >> Widgets >> Woo Product Sidebar.

If you want to change the layout of the signle product page then you can change it from Appearance >> Theme options >> Woocommerce >> Single Product

You can remove the contact section from Theme Options >> Header >> Contact Info and to remove the mini cart from Theme Options >> Header >> Mini Cart >> Disable it.

Then to change the position of the search bar please use this custom CSS in Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CS section:

How can we RESET the theme options WITHOUT losing the data? I have done:

1. select “Reset All”, save, recompile CSS, Clear Host cache, clear browser cache – but it is not resetting all of the theme options i.e. colours and font sizes.

2. copied over the original setting from the demo data, save, recompile CSS, Clear Host Cache, Clear Browser Cache – but it is not resetting the fonts and colours.

I have read all your feedback on here and have applied most of your answers,but none of your answers work completely in terms of resetting the theme.

Hello, I have a question. Ideally I want to be able to manually crop the product images. I found a plugin here YoImages which allows to manually choose the part of the image to use for each image style. The thing is, no matter what image style I use to crop, what shows in the front end is the default cropped image. So just to clarify, when I am editing the product, I see the correct cropped image, but in the front end only the standard centred crop, can you help, or advise me here? or advise on another tool to manually allow the user to select the area to crop with the predefined dimensions thank you

First of all thanks for showing interest in the Porto theme.

After manually crop images then you have to disable the Woocommerce product image settings from the Woocommerce and then when you are using the cropped image for your product then it will show same cropped images as you did.

Hello again, can you let me know specifically how to disable the woocommerce product image settings? no matter what I change, the theme seems to show a different thumbnail than the ones I have cropped. Is there anyway that the theme could use an image style, for example crop an image at a certain image dimension/ image style, and the them uses this style automatically? At the moment the image on the main product page has dimensions which are not listed anywhere 336×336 from an image 600×600. if you could assist me that would be great

How disable Image Transition effect ?

Sorry to say that you can not remove the image transition effect from the product images. There is no option in the theme to remove the effect.

We have not tested this paid plugin yet with our theme and its not possible to guarantee 3rd party plugins for us. And sorry to say that we will only give our dedicated support to the theme related issues not the 3rd party plugin issues. Actually, We are experiencing higher than normal Tickets/comments volume and apologize for any inconvenience.

We have already told you that our latest Porto 3.6 version is compatible with Woocommerce 3.0.3 version and we are working on the theme update and will make the compatible with 3.0.4 version of Woocommerce. First of all thanks to purchase the Porto theme.

You can change the Primary Color from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin Here you can find all the color options.

If you color will not change then I think that it’s the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add / save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file into your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.
