Hi I have a problem with the desktop and mobile version a problem that I also had with my own websites.
Desktop Version:
There is a horizontal scroll bar on my 1360×768 Monitor, but in the horizontal area is nothing just blank space. (If you have a bigger monitor just smaler the window size and you will see it)
Mobile Version:

Desktop Version:
You can put this short code to disable the horizontal scroll bar. in the Master Page, from the top menu, go to Page > Page Properties > Metadata tab. Paste it inside the box.

Mobile Version:
Usually when problem like this happen, most of the time it is caused by an object that might have been accidentally placed at the right hand side, beyond the page layout. It can be a blank rectangle, blank text frame or other elements that are hard to detect.
If you want to delete the the object that might have caused the problem, follow these steps:
1. Click Ctrl/Cmd + 0 to fit the web in window so that you can see the whole page.
2. right click outside the page and select Unlock All on Page.
3.Then clickCtrl/Cmd + a to select all elements.
4.Inspect the page thoroughly and carefully and see if there is an element outside of the page elements. If yes then re-position or the delete the element if it’s not important.
If the method above doesn’t solve the problem, you can use the same method as explained in the Desktop version to fix this problem with the code. Just paste the code inside the Phone master page’s metadata box.

Hi Soulmemoria, i updated my website, but with the new Muse CC 2017 the sticky menu in the desktop version ( Template 8 ) get’s damaged. The menu-background fond get’s overlayed by the white background. Is it complicated to fix this?

Thanks for reporting the problem. I am able to reproduce the problem.
After some research, I’ve found a forum thread discussing about similar problem. It seems to be a glitch with the app and has been fixed in the beta version. Read the latest post from Adobe staff in the forum at the bottom part of the thread.
As for now, downloading the beta app and exporting the HTML from there seems to be the only solution.
For a workaround, there’s a way to do it with Tersus templates. First you must use Tersus v3.0 and above which has the needed Graphic Styles to make this work. Basically, you want to create a functionality similar like in the Tablet version.
Follow these steps:
1. Delete the Desktop menu background. 2. Go to the Tablet version. Delete the menu and the logo inside the State Button. 3. Copy the State Button and the dark menu background from the Tablet version. After you copy, Undo the changes. 4. Go to the Desktop version and paste the State Button and the menu background. 5. Disable Pin settings on the State Button and menu background if there’s any. *There should be one on the menu background. 6. Cut the Desktop logo and menu, and paste them inside the State Button. 7. Arrange and position all elements accordingly.
You should get a similar effects like in Tablet version.

Hi Amazing design, full of choices!! Love it. I’m using Template No. 8, with the portfolio from No. 1. Just wanted to know where can I change the rollover state for the images. Where is the soft scale effect applied? I need to add text on it. Is this possible? Thanks, Viviana
Hi,
Unfortunately you cannot add text to the thumbnail images for this type of composition. There’s no option to do that using this widget.
If you want a gallery composition where you can add text to its composition, you may want to look at no 12.
Regarding the scale effect, it is done with the additional CSS. To see it or change to different effects, first select a thumbnail from the portfolio gallery. Then open the Graphic Styles. You can see that it is currently assigned with hvr-shrink, which is a shrink or scale down effects.
FYI, I’ve made changes to design 01 for next release. Now adding text or other elements for the thumbnail is possible. However this may take a while to be released as I’m still updating other templates as well. If you want it early, you can email me at soulmemoria@gmail.com

I have a big concern export into html. Whatever the theme used ,; html export plant. I tried to leave Muse to work, believing that with time, it would work, but Muse eventually crash. I tried with other compositions and everything goes perfectly. I downloaded the latest versions of Tersus, but the problem is still there … I’m very annoyed. I look forward your help. Thank you
It seems like for some customers this problem happened since the last Muse update. I will look on the files and update them.
For your information, Tersus is currently being updated to be compatible with the latest Muse. Certain things have change such as how the lightbox works. Now scroll is no longer possible inside lightbox. So a few layouts need to be changed in Tersus. However this may take some times as the work is massive.
If you need to use a template but having problem getting it published or exported, you can email me at soulmemoria@gmail.com. Priority will be put on getting immediate problems solved before the new Tersus update can be released.

You don’t have to buy Font Awesome. In the download package folder, please open the Main Documentation.pdf file. Then go to the the Font Awesome section to learn how to install the font.

Ok thanks, one more question with my phone version of the tersus 2 template the page doesn’t load at the top of the page but rather a little way down when I open it on my iPhone 6plus so that you can’t see the menu and have to scroll up to see it. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?
Can you share the website link?
For now, make sure that after you finished editing the menu, hide the menu composition back. Just open the options panel and untick the Show lightbox parts while editing checkbox. Preview again and see if that fix the problem.

How Can I change the location of the map in Layout 3?
In the package folder, look for the Main Documentation.pdf file. Open the file and go to:
Editing Guide for Common Widgets > Custom Map
If you have problem viewing the map in the browser, please use the default Muse map widget in the Widget Library panel. You can find it under Widget Library > Social >Google Maps.

Hi, thanks for reporting the problem. It seems that Google has changed the way the Google Map is used in a website.
The map is generated with a third party widget and I don’t think there will be an update soon or ever.
For the time being, you can use the default Map widget in Muse for the map section. I will try to figure out a new way of using the styling map in Muse. This may take a while.

Hello. I’m editing the template number 6 and I would like to know about Featured Works gallery. When change the image in Design, does not change the image in the Visualization session. I do not know how, but I managed to appear once, but by clicking on the image is another page with the old image, which can not change. Can you teach me how to change the image to appear correctly? And by clicking on the image, the blank (white) area is very large! How can I reduce it? Thanks.

Hi I am using the tersus 2 template. I want to add different social media buttons to the site. Do you have different ones include (ie YouTube) so that they match your ones?
Are you referring to the social media icons at the footer section?
Please note that unlike the later templates which use the Font Awesome solution for social media icons, Template 2 icons is created manually using PNG images.

Yes it’s possible.
When a thumbnail is clicked, it will open a lightbox which currently filled with an images slideshow widget. That widget can be replaced with other widgets such as the YouTube or Vimeo video widget.
The thumbnail can also be linked to another page if you want the new content to be opened in a new page instead or in a lightbox.

Please help me with the home-slider in design 08, as I for the last weekend have tried to figure out to mark it work, when I have changed the images. My images is cut to the size 1920×1080 as yours, but the slider only shows me a Grey Colour in det slider and in the background it is just pixelated… I made a test-version and tried a lot off different things, but none with succes! To grab/select the slider for clearing all widget content is it like there is a layer you have to pull Down first… I really hope you know, what can be wrong, as it’s driving me crazy…

Regarding the template set up question. You just have to open the file in the Muse app and then from there you can start editing. I know that this is not quite the answer you are expecting. If you can give me more details I’m happy to help.

If I understand you correctly, the ‘2 straps’ are the slanted objects that move on page scroll right?
The motion of these objects can be set in the Scroll Effects panel. To make use of this feature, when you create a new breakpoint, make sure that the width setting is set to be ‘Fixed Width’. Note that the ‘Fluid Width’ will disable the Scroll Effects feature.
