The blog page at the following link is not allowing me to add an H1 title tag at top of the page. I add it in Page Builder and then reload and it is gone. SEMRush is flagging the page for not having the H1.

I like the new left hand menu navigation, but it seems that top menu items, that have a drop-down sub-menu items, can’t link to anything? As in your example ( http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-business/ ) the ‘About’ menu item can’t link to anything, just drops down. Any thoughts? Is there a hover and drop down option? or arrow?

It functions the same as the off canvas menu as seen here http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-agency/ – for now it will only open the submenu, though I’ve noted your idea for alternative options

The last update is fantastic, good job! I have a question about the compatibility of the header transparency options with the fullscreen rows. Currently the header starts transparently over a slider but remains transparent even when scrolling the page down, which does not happen with the fullscreen row option disabled. It’s some kind of bug or I need to make some adjustment? The inherit color option does not work too.

When using the transparent header it will be active over all slides as the demos show – it’s esseitally a vertical slider, the page isn’t scrolling anywhere to remove the transparent nav. If you didn’t want it on, you’d need to turn it off for the page all together

I found this code in a comment from 2 years ago, regarding how to add a text shadow to the header in nectar slider, but it doesn’t seem to work any longer. Is there an update to this code that someone can share?

I’m trying to put a very minimal, white drop shadow behind the h2 text there on the nectar slider so the text doesn’t go invisible over the darker parts of the slider images.

Hi there ThemeNectar. I love using your theme but I have a small problem. I have installed new 7.6 version on my new site and everything is working fine, beside importing demos. I can’t see pictures of any demo and i can’t import it to my site. I checked this on my other site with older version of Salient and it’s working just fine. Have you got any solution for me?

I opened a ticket on this site and I get a reply: “They posted the wrong URL, this is the support desk for ThemeNectar:” I also contacted someone who knows more about wordpress than me and he says that there is a problem with slashes in URL links to demo images. Hello – After setting custom colors for my Footer via the Salient config panel, I am unable to set a hover color for links in the footer widgets. I’ve tried several times using CSS – is there a CSS override just for the text link hover effect in the footer? Thanks!

That did not work – there’s another rule forcing it to stay #000 with !important that seems to be taking precedence (I didnt create it)

Hey, on my nectar slider titles, there’s a screen size breakpoint for every page on my site for the text to resize, except this page: http://myreliefplus.com/philosophy/
Do you know why this is? If so, I’d like it to do that for every page (as in, not resize with the breakpoint).
Actually, i think i found out. The row was set to “in container” and not “full width content” like the other pages.

I had one that allowed for a video background, email capture, bio and contact page, but it didn’t work with Salient. Now I’m using something that’s boring and ugly. lol.

Can you assist or point me to right help section where I can create single page layout that starts as a full screen before navigating to content below (but I dont want to activate full screen rows). The only way to acheive that would be to use a Nectar slider or page header as they both offer the fullscreen option

There’s an option in the Nectar Slider element available in the Salient visual composer for fullscreen height – when you check that checkbox, that’s all that’s needed. Make sure you have the full width option enabled as well so that the fullscreen option is available

Hi, it dint solve the issue, in any other page, the menu is transparent and depending on the text color of the “row” it changes to light or dark. But in the portfolio items, it doesn’t do that. I managed to find were to disable the solid bg on header, but can make it change it to dark and light depending on the “rows” text color.
why in porfolios only this happens?
Do you have a page header set for your project? That’s the only way the transparent header nav will trigger by default on a project
