1) Due to the Campaign Monitor require to specifying width attribute in every editable image or else the export file will unable to import into CM. You can edit the default image width in the code at IMG tag.(screenshot) In this case, the default logo image size in a Main-14 header and All-in-one are difference because I try to reduce All-in-one.zip file size by remove unnecessary image file to be repeated by replacing with the logo image from another Main template.

First, the code structure of content area is 600px with 470px for menu/slogan text on the right and 130px for logo (470+130=600) to keep each table align in the container correctly. The padding, margin and table width for the logo were not set to any specific size in order to have logo expanding, but due to the (1) as I mentioned. If you’re not a Campaign Monitor user. I would recommend to removing a width attribute from IMG tag so it can be expanded accordingly to your actual image size.

You can either modify code before or after import into StampReady, But if you do before import SR require to re-zip with the complete file set (index.html, images, and thumbnails folder).

Thanks and yes, that’s all good info. I figured I’d have to re-zip if I did it before. I ended up just changing it afterwards within Constant Contact to 450 and 150 width respectively from the default 130-470 widths and it worked out fine. If I do these with the larger header logo regularly, I’ll just create my own custom all-in-one set with the different widths. Only problem I had show up on the destination was the background image in the top section was repeating on large screens, but I haven’t troubleshooted that yet. If it’s still occurring later, I’ll create a separate thread for it. Thanks for the help – looking forward to working with the template set more over time.

You’re welcome, That correct you can modify and calculate a table to any size as long as it still in the 600px container.

Regarding the background header image. If you refer to the Gmail client, that because Gmail doesn’t support CSS background-size yet.(more info) If you’re viewing a large screen. I recommend using a bigger image, but keep in mind the smaller screen size will only see a portion of the image if it too big(yes, it won’t resize in Gmail) and it also increases the loading time of your subscriber.(recommended this service to reducing image file size). The default background dimension that I use is 1500px width and at least 600 height.

All-in-one template requires using a StampReady builder to export to use with MailChimp. A template with too many repeatable modules mostly crashes the MailChimp builder when imported.

here a demo video how to import to SR and export to use with MailChimp. You can freely use StampReady builder to modify and export as you saw in the demo.

Sorry, what do you mean by customizing as you do? how do you customize? the template able add/remove module customize and save in MyMail normally as the plugin provides functionality for a template. As you may know, the template is just a static HTML code for a visual design, not a functional programing.

This commonly knows by most of the MyMail user with no problems so far.

Hi, there is a All-in-one template 1 and 2 divided by normal layout and container layout. At this moment version 2.0.1

All-in-one 1 has 150 modules and All-in-one 2 has 41 modules. Combine with 9 notification template(21 module in total) 150+41+21=212.

Each template style has their own design style. 200+ unique modules is countinng from all templates. Doesn’t mean each template has 200 modules.(if it was, it should be 5,600 modules in total at least)

Hi, I’m not sure about the limitation of how many module can be included in a single campaign, I suggest to contact directly at MyMail support for more info about their plugin limitation.

However, I would recommend not to many because most of the email client will cut off the email when it to long(They will use a link “click to view the more” and open in the webversion).

I see, thanks for the screenshots. That because the image was bigger than the default image dimension. If you want to achieve a retina image result by using a bigger image. You have to add a specify the width and height attribute in the img tags as well.

However, I didn’t add these attribute to image tag by default to avoid images distortion when a user using the difference image size from the default image.

Recommend to using the same width/height dimensions for the module that has more than 1 images for a better result when stacking in a responsive view.

so i added in height attributes. However, before I did and even now, I am having a different problem. When I import into mailchimp, only a small part of the newsletter imports into mailchimp (I follow the steps from the video and in your instructions).

Secondly when I send out a test email, the images don’t come through in the test email.

I assume you send a test in the Campaign builder mode at a design stage. All modules are included repeatable function in MailChimp. You need to add your repeatable module once you at this stage to align your layout. The first module will appear by default for this function to duplicate and switch to other module layout that you were chosen from SR. demo video

*you see the full template in Template editor mode after import to MC because a mc:repeatable is not working in this mode.

Most of the email client are blocking image by default. If you view the test in Outlook client, That because Outlook is not supported background image in every version. That why I have a background color changing option for the header in SR so a user can choose any color that suits their newsletter when a background image is not supported.

Hi, what do you mean by automatic recent post sender? I’m not sure I understand you correctly but as a template I only able to specify template editable area and make it compatible with the plugin, anything with the plugin function you may try contact directly at MyMail support.

If you refer to auto pull content from a post. It already implements to the template.

Ok I see, my bad I renamed the zip file to All-in-one-1.zip but forgot to rename the folder inside too. So the easy fix is just to rename the folder inside that zip file from All-in-one to All-in-one-1 or try to redownload the template package again I just updated the file.

Hi, at this moment to make background image work in Outlook is to manually implement this fix and change background link at the code(VML). As I test, it not a 100% reliable sometimes it breaks a layout. That’s why I’m not implementing to the template yet. I’ll update the template as soon as I found the another reliable workaround, or we may have to wait for Outlook to support BG image instead.

Please try contact MyMail support regarding this error. This’s an error with php file in WP. I can’t fix at my end. I just tried import and it still works normally to me.

However, I’m not sure how you update but the best way is to remove the old version and import a new one, or you can try using a purchased code to import directly to MyMail from more template menu. hope that helps.

Hi, this’s actually the first time I know about Marketo. I’ve looked through their site, but can’t find a register or demo to test on.

However, if the Marketo able to paste in an HTML code when composing. That should work fine with the template because I already provide regular HTML in the package, also StampReady builder able to export HTML file while keep all image hosting online too.

Hi, please provide more info which email service do you use?(I assume you using MyMail right?) which template file? normally images a block by default in every email client. You have to click show images in the email client to show an image. Also try checking an image URL in your host too, because if the image not visible after sending it should be something wrong during the sending process. If the HTML template is broken it shouldn’t be seen any image in the first place before sending.

Moreover, Gmail doesn’t support style for a background image that why image being repeat or stretched, the lower screenshot if it from MyMail plugin that because it view directly in a browser, not actually through the email client.

I was using MyMail and tested both Sendgrid and Mandrill. However if I test sending using Mailchimp itself with the template, it’s looking fine.

Any idea what’s breaking the ones sent from MyMail?

My best guess is there might be something wrong with your image host when you sending. However, a sending process or plugin error are beyond my HTML knowledge. I would recommend to try contact MyMail support for further investigation.

And make sure your Gmail doesn’t set to block all image.

Hi that’s a good idea but as far as I know MyMail doesn’t have a save color function yet, instead you can save what you do as a new template after modified. And next time you want to use the same color style, just selects from your saved template

the problem is that it does not add MyMail templates as modules. if you change your template you change jobs ..

Not sure I understand you correctly if you check at “include original modules from “TemplateName” the new template will keep all module from the original template as well.

However, the question is regarding a MyMail feature function. I can’t add any extra function to the plugin by a template code. It requires a plugin creator to add/improve the function. I do recommend to contact directly at MyMail author and request as a new feature. I only able to do what they provided because in the end what I’m selling is just a template that compatible to their plugin not my plugin sorry, hope you understand.

Hi, sorry MyMail is auto detect color code from template code and put in the side panel. We can’t specify, name or control over this plugin automation by template code.

Sure, I do understand that you refer to a Preheader text that shown after email subject. First, this required to edit directly at the code because it will hide in your actual content and only display in the inbox.
