I am not able to update the theme itself because of changes I made. But I want to update the visual composer, which I also bought separately. How can I do that?
I can’t add the visual composer as a plugin, because the old version is still active in the theme folder. I can’t delete it there, because I only get a server error 500 if I do that. Replacing the old js_composer folder inside the theme folder also gives the error 500.

Hi. That is not possible, as the theme is out of support. I can’t upgrade the theme, so I have to remove the js_composer from it or replace it inside the theme. How can I do that?
The easiest solution would be to just disable js_composer inside the theme. how is that possible? If I delete the folder, wordpress does not load anymore.

In your particular case we recommend to move a copy of your site to some dev server (or localhost), update Impreza to its latest version there, apply your customizations once again, update all 3d party plugins, and move the site back to your live server.

I already tired updating the theme on a separate server, but too much is different, it does not work.
I can’t pay the same price as the whole template was again, just for one hint about how to update or disable the visual composer in the plugin.
41$ for just one answer is too much. How can I remove visual composer from the template?

Unfortunately, latest Visual Compsoer won’t work with outdated Impreza, because there are diferent shortcodes, you can connect to your server via FTP client, go to wp-content/plugins/folder, and remove js_composer folder entirely there, then install latest version of plugin. But as we wrote above we strongly recommend to update your Impreza to its latest version, it works just fine with latest versions of plugins.

I am using Dancing Script as primary font for Headers. Unfortunately, on some Windows devices Dancing script is not set or available and it defaults to next Cursive font which appears to be Comic Sans, which is not appropriate.
Can you advise on a work around? Perhaps some css that will default to Open Sans – san serif if Dancing script – cursive is not available.

Can I set a scrolling function in the header, that if you scroll down, I change the logo? For example, in the top area my logo appears and when I scroll down appears only my image mark. For example: http://demos.themetrust.com/create/

Several elements of visual composer suddenly stopped working for this theme. Text boxes with images in them and also the visual composer google maps element. I had to remove and add the content to the raw html element in order for it to work. Any idea what’s happening?

But it have worked on Impreza 3.1 very good. If I have some elements in column like this http://hydrafacial.ru/hydrafacial-md-tower/, I need border of column, not of Text Block elements. I hope you’ll add this feature in one of the next updates. Thank for response!
We implemented support for default Visual Composer grid in 3.2 version, because a lot of clients asked about it. And the layout was changed a bit.
Like a temporary solution you can assign extra CSS class to these rows at Row Settings (for example boxed-cards), and append following code to Theme Options > Advanced Settings > Custom CSS:

Please clear the cache, if it won’t help go to Theme Options > Advanced Settings, and deactivate ‘Move jQuery scripts to the footer’ and ‘Dynamically load theme JS components’ options there, then click on Save Changes button. If the site will appear as expected go to Theme Options > Advanced Settings, and activate these options back.

After update the theme to version 3.8.1 ( or earlier ) the javascript-library “jquery.magnific-popup.js” is not included in the frontend. I fixed this by editing the “functions.php” in the child-theme:

This option has been activated. I just updated the theme. After the update, only a loader-gif was shown on some pages. There I found in the browser console a javascript error: ”.magnificPopup is not a function”. In the source code the call to the corresponding Javascript library was missing.
