Hi, I’ve just bought your theme and I am liking it so far. Just one problem. When I open the text editor to edit text it always appears blank even though the text on the page and is showing underneath is the html coding box. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi there, do you get any JS error when you opening the text editor? Please click the item support tab or go to WP-Admin > Flatsome > Help & Guides. That’s the correct way to get support

No JS errors. I have no additional plugins installed. Now and again the text will show in the word editor for some elements but I’m not sure what if anything I did differently. Unfortunately the site is only on my local machine using Microsoft WebMatrix.

Hi,
With the new update (That’s not so new anymore), catalogue mode does not seem remove variable product settings. It did so before. Can you tell me why this is? For example if a product has previously been set up to have a couple of size configurations, the new update still shows a drop down with these variables available, just no add to cart button. Before the major update all this information was removed when catalogue mode was enabled. Please advise how to remove this.

How can I add stars to a product without setting up a different user account and leaving a text review? I want to setup star ratings under my products myself like you have in the demo content without leaving a comment.

Idea for Flatsome
Some websites turn Tags and Categories Archives into e.g. “sub-blogs”, “mini-blogs” etc. Each Tag or Category have separate layout. It is a nice solution to take website to the next level.
Perhaps, Flatsome could have ability to choose a layout for Tags Archives and Category Archives separatly. Nowadays different layout is for all Archives.
For instance: Flatsome could have ability to choose Page Template (same as for Pages), one Template for Tags Archives, another Template for Category Archives.

Hi there, do you mean like “fly out” sub menus? It’s possible to have normal dropdowns, but not with flyout sub menus.
anyway to get the mini cart icon to update correctly with page caching?
it always displays the number of items in your cart for the initial page load for all users on any cached pages
Hi there, are you on version 3.0+ ? I would try contact your host and ask them if WooCommerce is correctly cached.
i looked a bit more into it, seems to only be an issue when using a custom icon, so the first time you add any items the cart displays correctly with the number showing exactly whats in the cart like so:

tested it with the other 2 styles below and it works completely fine with caching turned on:

is this something you’re going to look into at some point? happy to pay for support again if that’s what it takes but it definitely seems like a minor bug for the theme overall
Hi, Wishlist Premium support is not really good. Have you done some hotfixes for that ?
for example the .wishlist-popup on the category is too small and some styling issues.

Hi there, you currently have to add the video manually by adding a Video embed inside the blog post. The “Video” template adds a play icon in the Blog post slider shortcode.
Currently the UX Builder does not support WP Real Media Library. The folders I created in WP RML are not recognized by the builder. The author confirmed the JS assets are blocked somehow. Any chance the plugin will be supported in next update of Flatsome? Thanks.
