Hello, can I ask you please how can I modify the appearance of Testimonials? I would like to have only the “fade” transition in between each testimonial (not squeeze and slide as default). Is it also possible to add arrow navigation so users can navigate through testimonials this way? I have been searching and trying but have not found how to do that so far (fade and navigation).. Thank you

Hi, I have purchased and successfully installed Hook theme. Great job. But I have one issue… I have spent a few hours finding the reason but without success. The theme is increasing the size of my logo (from 150px width to somewhat 163.66px) and therefore the logo has soft edges and is not “sharp” as the original. I have not found any css code doing this. And I would like to ask how can I add “description” seo tag to the page (I have not found any). I can provide you with my log in details but obviously by a personal message only. I have an issue with categories filter above thumbnails. When I set up the Masonry layout, the links of those filters doesn’t work in the desktop device. They work well in mobile version. How can I solve this problem? Thank you for your help.

Probably your hosting company is blocking sending emails via the wp_mail function. You should get in touch with them to remove this restriction.
You can also try and install the free plugin Contact Form 7 that has alternative ways to send emails.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I checked the logs and the server is not blocking wpmail(). Your script is being rejected because it is not inserting the recipient’s email address. It also fails to insert the subject. The log sees both fields as blank and is rejected accordingly.

I was just wondering how it would be possible to change the “Launch Project” text for the portfolio previews.
I went into the helper.php and changed it to something else, but it’s still showing “Launch Project”.
I have to use a German phrase, therefore “Launch Project” is not an option.

Hey there,
I’ve installed your theme on my Wordpress and added the creativity agency demo content in order to build my web layout.
Unfortunately, the theme stopped working correctly in Safari and Firefox. I would love to attach a screenshot. It seems like something broke with the menu.
I’ve deactivated plugins, deleted the demo content, I did reinstall it, I even deleted the whole theme and uploaded it again, but the issue is still there.

seems like the SEO Yoast plugin caused the trouble

Hi Pirenko, thanks for your quick answer, but that was not what I have expected. Therefore I have to admit, that Hook is not the right theme for what I have intended to do and I have changed to avada which gives better flexibiiity. What a pitty that I have wasted already the money for a full year of support…....

How can I enable the license tab on Visual Composer?

About updating/licensing Visual Composer: you bought the theme and you only have the license for it (not for Visual Composer). So, it is the theme that will eventually provide updates to it. Disregard any update/activation message if it appears.
Please notice that if you buy it separately and use a version that is different from the one that is included with the theme, we can’t ensure that it is compatible.
If you want to activate your own license anyway please send us a private message.

I have several VC licenses separate from any theme version. You need to find a way to disengage that notification permanently. We turn it off and it pops up again. Damn irritating and not something I’d want a client to see and have to ask about. I’d also want to push an update every time an element updated their product asap.
Sorry for that, but the VC team doesn’t make our life easy in terms of shutting that OFF permanently. They have released an update recently and we already made some tweaks to try and turn that notification OFF permanently.

I have a question: In the Portfolio Items I’m using the Split layout to display my work. I have some vertical images and I see that when I display them they are stretched to fill the layout. Is there a way to keep them in the current size (even though you could see the background on the side of the images)?

I’ve encountered some problems with the Hook theme and a plugin called Carousel Anything. It seems that the theme is creating empty -tags with a clearfix. I’ve contacted the support for the plugin but they believe that the fault lies in the Hook Framework or the theme itself. The problem is that the empty fields creates extra blank pages in the carousel. I’ve already tried deactivating the Framework but that didn’t fix it. Could you please check on this?
