Thanks for your answer.
Meantime, I put back a backup and I copied the destroyed website on an other server, to get time to fix everything.
Note I have an other website with this template (2 licences) for this company, but I also have 3 more website with your template (my clients bought themselve the licences but I manage them). So I’m very afraid to do any more updates ….

Thank you for sending in a ticket. I just sent you a reply, so you can check that out.
It appears that the shortcode conversion didn’t process correctly. That is needed to update the old shortcode format to be compatible with the new builder. Since that didn’t process, it showed all the shortcodes as text rather than elements.
Although it looks like a serious problem, it’s normally just due to low server limits causing the update process to be truncated. If this happens to any other sites of yours, you can manually trigger the shortcode conversion at the top of the System Status page > http://prntscr.com/ct045k

I found your message and I run succesfully the conversion! Yeepee! I think I’ll have the same problem on every websites because almost all of them are on OVH (shared server) but now I know how to manage it.

The Avada theme itself doesn’t handle this, but rather the WooCommerce plugin. WooCommerce is the recommended ecommerce plugin for use with Avada and is fully integrated with the theme.

I inherited a site that has the Avada theme. I have the purchase code. However, I can’t create a support account using that purchase code because it is registered under the previous developer’s name, instead of being registered under the client’s name.
I need help because the latest update blows my site. I reverted back to my backup, so the site is running. But, clearly something is very wrong.
I’ve tried to find ways to contact you and this is the only place that I can find that will allow me to send you a message. (I hate to say it, but that’s unacceptable.)
Please help me so that I don’t hate your theme and your support because so far, the experience has been awful and has wasted a lot of my time.

There are two parts to your Themeforest comment, so please allow me to address both below:
- First and foremost, what needs to be determined in order to get the support access resolved, is who purchased the Avada license. If you purchased it but allowed the developer to register for support, we can easily get that resolved in order to restore support access. If this be the case, please email your purchase code to support@theme-fusion.com so that we can sort this asap
If someone other than you purchased the license and then registered for support, that will be problematic in terms of support and generating a token key from the Themeforest originally used to purchase the license.
- Now, regarding updating the installation please do make 100% certain that you follow these update instructions carefully

If you are updating from a version older than Avada 5.0 and for some reason the conversion has not run and leaves shortcodes littered in the page content, a 3rd party plugin may be causing the issue so I want you to rerun the migration again, so please follow these steps
1 – Make a full backup of the site, database and files
2 – Go to the WordPress Dashboard plugin page and deactivate all of your 3rd party plugins, leave the Avada plugins active – Fusion Builder, Fusion Core and the included sliders
3 – Go to the Avada System Status page – http://d.pr/i/PnWk – and then trigger the migration manually
Once done you can reactivate your plugins and you will be good to go

There should be no such issues with the update for sure, we have thousands of customers updating with out any issues so it must be something else or the reason that update instructions are not followed properly.

Please make sure that you have enabled the Fusion Builder for your post types and all the elements are also selected from WP dashboard > Fusion Builder > Settings Tab

Can I have the progress bars displayed when someone prints a page? I go to print with a page that uses progress bar and only the text shows.

You will need to put a personal print.css file in such cases and make sure the print CSS for that element is set as per your requirement a print media works in a different way then screen media so that might be the reason here.

Hello! Please tell us in the Avada-Support I saw that a patch should be applied when updating the theme to 5.0.5. I applied it and the state – Green noted. But I do not remember when it was updated to 5.0.4 – there had to be some patches to apply, I do not look easy?

When you updated from Avada 5.0.4 to Avada 5.0.5 all the patches that were available for 5.0.4 were already a part of the updated files. We release patches for bugs that are found between updates that hinder the user experience. If you’re on Avada 5.0.5, then you don’t have to worry about any patches for a previous version.

The Avada theme itself comes fully optimized. What can slow your site down is the content added (oversized images, external resources like videos, etc.). I have just a little question:
I want set a background image for a container on fusion page builder.
I want that this image fits perfectly on the container. But, when i set the image, i have always problems for his dimension. It doesn’t fit on container. How can i do?

Background images are set to cover position so it depends on which screen resolution you are seeing it from, it will always try to keep the aspect ratio of image true and cover the entire column as well. I will suggest you to use an image frame instead to get a proper full size image on resolutions.

I just updated to avada 5. My slides on revolution slider are no longer showing. They were working fine before the update. Is there any fix or has anyone else had this issue?
