From what it sounds like, you did not undergo migration. Go to theme options > system status and rerun migration for 5.0.

It could also be due to a corrupt update, meaning not all files are there, or from server cache or other things. Either way, if the issue persists, please submit a ticket so our team can sort it out for you.

You can adjust footer padding in theme options > footer styling … but that is for the whole footer area (top/right/bottom/left)

For individual footer widget columns, it would be like this for example:

div.fusion-column.col-lg-4.col-md-4.col-sm-4 { padding-left: 40px; }

From the appearance, you did not undergo migration/conversion, or you have not updated the fusion core and fusion builder plugins.

This is not a bug from THemeFusion This is part of the 5.0 update process, see here: http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/important-update-information/

Did you undergo a splash screen and migration? If not, go to theme options > system status and rerun migration for 5.0.

If you did, then it appears you did not update Fusion Core and activate Fusion Builder, in that case go to Avada > Plugins and make sure both are up to date and activated.

Hmm, errors on update can be due to several factors. The update process works, however errors may occur on servers with low server limits or if the server’s permission settings aren’t correct.

You can bypass server related problems by updating through FTP, that is method #3 here > http://bit.ly/2fSeNKa

1. You can create almost any page design with the Fusion Page Builder. I’m not 100% sure exactly what kind of page design/functionality you have in mind for this page. Do you mind providing an example design with more details? I’ll be able to answer more precisely then.

2. This isn’t currently available in Avada without some template customization for theme generated buttons. However, you may look into using a Google Analytics plugin for extended GA functionality. Something like > http://bit.ly/2gMGPYD

Or you can use any 3rd party add on plugin for this with contact form 7, i did a quick google search and i found this one online : https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-datepicker/

Both the CF7 plugin and this extension are actually free to use.

Thank you very much for your quick response.

After reading the article I’ve been going crazy until I discovered that Firefox does not even support date html5 tags and so I did not see the datapicker.

There is a line of code that solves it! (To whom it may concern) Add in theme> functions.php

Add_filter (‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’);

Contact Form 7 Datepicker is a good solution too.

Sorry for the inconvenience, Weston should have thought that you have already updated the theme, however we will go ahead and respond to your queries.

1. Yes there is a category filter for post slider for sure but no tags filters yet : http://prntscr.com/ddy493

2. That is not a feature yet, we only have sliders for post and portfolios.

3. Only Categories, however we are looking to add the tags too as filters in our next updates.

4. Yes, you have full control over all the elements you see on image rollover, each can be turned on and off.

5. You can create a button or text layer on slider and link it to your pages or anywhere you want to and the slider can be used as a shortcode in sidebar for sure as well.

But the img code was there before 5.0.5. It’s still therein my old pages, but if I change one of the images and update the page, it will disappear.

SEO plugins like Yoast, do not read the inspector. They read the text editor version of page.

That’s a very good question. We did previously use the tag in the actual shortcode in the page editor, but have changed that to only the image’s resource URL inside the shortcode.

You may be getting a warning from your SEO plugin that the page will be negatively affected by there being no images, but that is a mistake and can be ignored. It’s only reading the page content in the shortcodes/editor and not what is on the frontend, which is the actual HTML > http://prntscr.com/ddp1tm

Search engines will only be reading the content of your page on the frontend, so there will be no negative impact to your SEO score from this.

That is not relative at all as each installation works independently having its own theme options, it must be the migration process that is not triggered / completed properly. Make sure both installs are on same version of Avada and try again please.
