1) Unfortunately, RTL is not supported. Anyhow all shortcodes without dynamic shortcodes should be working well on RTL.

2) This is our element Merging Image, and you could use it as shortcode on any page. Also, with importing our demo content, you are getting the same on your installation.

The good server configuration is always necessary, plus proper image and content optimization, caching usage…in order to achieve best possible performance. Yes, it is easy to setup multilanguage site using WPML plugin for example since that plugin is compatibile with our theme.
