Hi, I am a complete novice and trying to figure things out as i go along and there is so much to learn I feel totally over whelmed. Please tell me why Google indexed plugins pages for my website. For example in Google search when i type in my website name, other pages are indexed fine but then this comes up as well:
Index of /wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/static/layerslider/skins www.domain.co.za/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/static/.../skins/
Please help. I do not want this to show up.

Google will index anything on the web according to crawling and indexing algorithms and with more visitors, and with SEO optimization of important pages with some plugin, for example YOAST SEO https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ next crawl will index pages differently so only important (pages with visits) will be showing. Note that some time needs to pass for changes to become vissible and if you want to inicialize new crawl at some point you can do so with google webmastets tools https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools

I got the Bridge Theme seven months ago, I used it for one website. Now I’d like to build a new website with the Bridge theme. Do I have to renew the theme, or can I use the same license, if I delete the other website.
Basically- if I purchase this https://themeforest.net/item/bridge-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7315054/comments, I get support for six months (or 12months) and have to renew after it expired?

6 / 12 months is support period which can be renewed if user needs support. Regarding licenses, each installation requires separate license. For example if you install the theme on another domain or subdomain you create a new instance. Hi. I have created a page using the blog chequered layout. Is there a way to add content below the entries that comes by default with the Blog Chequered layer? When I add a content block via the Visual Composer, it gets above the entries and I want them below. Thanks in advance.

Blog masonry for example will display content below images http://screencast.com/t/qRSTw4Vx . That content is called excerpt and users cannot add additional content, but they can define custom excerpt text from each post. You just need to go in your back-end Posts -> Each post -> And below text editor or visual composer, you can find Excerpt field, just add here what ever you want to display for that post on blog list. Sorry I didn’t explain well. What I mean is: I need the 20 latest entries of the blog in a block on the top of the page. And below this block of content, I need another block with a text and a picture that I create with Visual Composer. When I do this second block with Visual COmposer, this content automatically goes above the Blog Chequered block, and I want it below. Is it posible to have it below in any of the blog layouts? (blog chequered, masonry… I don’t mind).

In order to add cotnent below, you have to enable content bottom from Global options or if you want it only for blog page, enable option from per page options http://screencast.com/t/qrbD0lxWC and you can choose custom widget previously created from appearance > widgets. Then inside your custom widget area you can add text block where you can place Visual Composer shortcode – basically you have to create VC elements on some testing page, and then from text eidting mode copy raw shortcode and paste it inide custom widget area text widget. 1. Theme authors usually do not allow white labeling, but even if they do most of theme classes and functions are usually named by the author or the theme itself. Unfortunately such an option does not exist unfortunately but it can be achieved with some custom coding.
2. It is portfolio list shortcode, but if you decide to use our theme you can easily import any demo from Qode import option.

It is latest posts element and it is usaully used for showing lates posts in some aside section but you can use different setting with images like this for example http://screencast.com/t/WcJd8dCZKP or in case that you want to show blog list even nicer you can use Blog masonry element.

Unfortunately, there is no option for reducing slider size, but you can enable Visual Composer and to build portfolio by using VC element. First, you have to enable Visual Composer for portfolio post type from VC settings http://screencast.com/t/ERFvNsi1nL

I am setting up this demo http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge75/ and I would like to know if there are some quick settings to disable the zoom effect on the Qode Slider.I set up the slider pic resolutions at 1919×833 like in the demo but going crazy to have them center and probably deactivating the zoom effect could help.

Modification to parent theme files will be restored to default upon update which is normal. All modifications have to be done from the child theme, and if you are doing that from the parent theme then make sure that you have set of files with changes on your PC so you can restore them after the theme update.

Hi, I have worked with Bridge before, but for a new customer of mine I have a couple of specific questions.
1. Is it possible in this demo to add backgroundvideo (YouTube or own mp4 file) in one of the slides? I think it is, just want to be sure. (Demo: http://bridge8.qodeinteractive.com/)
2. Is it possible to add audiofiles? Or can you only embed audio?
3. Most important: My customer uses an dutch Autorespond plugin to send automated responses to her customers. Unfortunately there is no publicly available information about this plugin, but I need to know if the theme works with this plugin 100% (it is a dutch website: autorespond.nl). You have to add a code like this {a14545xxxxx} in a (text) widget. Do you know if this works just fine with the Bridge theme?

1. Yes, demo is using Qode slider, and you can set self hosted video slide.
2. Audio files can be embedded to WordPress. See helpful reading on the following link http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-audio-files-and-create-playlists-in-wordpress/
3. We don’t know how that plugin work, but if it depends on some heavy java script only conflict with our AJAX page transitions may arise and you can overcome it by disabling page transitions. Also, since you are already using our theme, and your client is using that plugin, in order to be 100% sure you can test it on your website.

My site loads very slowly, I’ve disable all unnecessary plugins even down to specific pages, but as you can see in the page test below there is still render blocking holding up the page load

Initial server loading time is around 7 seconds and that is related to the server. Other than that, dynamic php files are being loaded which means that because of file permissions or some security plugin / script static files cannot be saved and loaded instead so check that with hosting support. I see how to “connect” it but I don’t understand what to do next to get it to appear on an about page under other visual composer elements.

Normally themes have a section where you can enter Head code for items such as this. Is there something like that in this theme that I’m missing?

Facebook gives me two codes to insert. 1. JavaScript SDK to be placed right after the opening body tag, and 2. A string of code to be placed where I would like the like button to show up. Where do I place the JavaScript SDK code so that I can place the button anywhere on the website?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out why my slider graphic is not showing up in the same position for desktop AND mobile. I set the position to be 90% from the top and it works fine for desktops, but it does’t move past the middle of the screen in mobiles.

Whenever I update the Bridge theme, using the WordPress backend Updates section, Visual Composer does not get updated to the latest version. I need to manually deactivate, and then delete Visual Composer; and then I need to reinstall it via the Required Plugins link.
Why can’t you update Visual Composer automatically when I update the theme? All other themes do it that way, and let me tell you it is much easier and much less stressful.
Please consider implementing this feature. If other theme developers can do this, then I am sure you can find a way to do this as well. Thank you.
