I think you are uploading the wrong theme files. Please extract the zip file which you have downloaded from the ThemeForest then you find the theme files folder inside that folder you find the Porto.zip file install or upload this file.
If you are not able to do that then please give us WP admin login details of your site then we will solve this for you.

I am going to build a travel and tour website for outdoor and water sports. No sales on site. So, woocommerce integration is not needed.

I have issues with the page speed and back-end speed aswell here… i allready did all caching as advised at the documentation and also removed the envato plugin but still stays slow on both ends

In the main demo, home-version-7 you are using a mansonry container. How did you calculate the gutter size and the percentage used for the elements’ width? You have precise values like 0.70175% for the gutter, 49.6491% for the first container and so on. Is there a formula or just trial and error? There is no any formula to set these percentage of the images. The gutter size reflects the gap between the images and the container percentage set the occupied space of the images. We have set them on trial and error basis. You can set both percentages according to your need and requirements of design.

Is there anyway to get the Sidebar in the widget area for smartphones ? i see no point in haveing it get merged with the main menu on smartphones plus when it gets merged with the main menu the menu title is removed. this messes up the hole menu as there is no separation between the two menus when on a smartphones.
We really need a Menu Widget (porto sidebar as a widget) or at the verry least as a shortcode.

Only thing is that one is egly nowhere near the porto side menu and it doesn’t have submenu … Any way to get some css for it to look like Porto side menu as in my other screenshot ? Just wandering if you guys will add a Porto menu widget soon ? I see this as a important thing to have. I saw your code for the Porto sidebar and its emulating a widget how hard would it be to complete it for a full widget ? I really need this. How much would it cost me to get it coded ?
